I have in my possession probably the coolest prizes peta2 has ever given away. I may or may not have given serious consideration to stealing the prizes for myself and making a run for it. My conscience got the best of me though, so I'm offering it up to you guys instead. You're welcome. As I'm sure you remember, a few weeks ago we unveiled Tom DeLonge's first ever peta2 PSA reminding everyone how important it is to spay and neuter your companion animals so that you're doing your part to control the animal over-population crisis in this country. The release of the PSA happened to be perfectly timed with one of the best things to happen in my life thus far ... the return of Blink 182. Seriously, I don't even think I can articulate how stoked I am to see this tour!

To celebrate Tom's love for peta2 and my love for Blink 182, we're giving away 3 sets of autographed posters. Three very lucky winners, whom I will be very jealous of, will get one autographed official tour poster and one autographed Macbeth poster. Sunday night was a really good night for me. So there I was, watching the Grammys, admiring all the outfits, celebrities, and performances—when all of the sudden, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker took the stage and reunited as Blink 182 to announce that Blink is back! Even better? Blink has a new album in the works, and there have been some pretty heavy rumors about Blink playing this summer's VANS Warped Tour. My fingers are crossed!

Welcome back, Blink!

Mink says, "F*ck Fur"! September 12, 2007

If you haven't heard of the band Mink yet, you will very, very soon—mark my words! This weekend, I had the great pleasure of meeting up with the band, and a great time was had by all! The band played the NorVA opening for the, yes THE, Jane's Addiction hero, Perry Ferrell and his Satellite Party.

Mink, who recently opened for another great, Tom DeLonge and Angels And Airwaves during their Australian tour, are not only set to take the music scene by storm, but they're ready to raise awareness about issues that are important to them. Neil, Stella, Nick, Louis, and Grant said they always take the opportunity to use their name to educate people on the fact that animals should not be slaughtered for their fur. And as the band so eloquently states, "THE ONLY MINK YOU SHOULD OWN, SHOULD BE ON YOUR IPOD!"

I brought along some of our "Mean People Wear Fur" tees for everyone and it was time to par-tae...

I was absolutely giddy to see that Neil even decided to wear his spiffy new tee on stage that night when Mink rocked their hearts' out at the NorVA...
