Not Dead Sexy--Just Dead August 13, 2009

I have no idea what Axe was thinking, but have you guys heard about the company's new leather-inspired "Instinct" fragrance? WTF.

I mean really, here's a brief list of things that aren't sexy:

• Dudes wearing dead, chemically-preserved animal skins (yup, that's leather)
• Dudes wearing something that's supposed to smell like dead, chemically-preserved animal skins
• Dudes who think that wearing either of the above would attract girls

To prove the point that there's nothing sexy about smelling like or sporting dead animal skins, PETA is creating a much more realistic, slaughterhouse-inspired leather scent:


Who could resist the essence of blood, guts, urine, feces, and fear all bottled up? Yeah ... disgusting. Just like "Instinct" is—only "Eau D'Abattoir" shows the truth behind a cruelty industry.

A little advice for the guys: If you're looking to get yourself a lady, try cooking her a delicious vegan dinner. Compassion is sexy—wearing (or smelling like) dead animals is not.

I absolutely love Dancing with the Stars. It's so addicting and fun to watch—not to mention inspiring. Not that I start waltzing all over my apartment, but you get what I mean.

Anyway, check out this hilarious spoof that the cast did of our "Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" ad series. Amazing:
