I don't understand why some people still think that buying animals is an OK thing to do, but then again, look who it is this time ...

Spencer Pratt bought Heidi Montag a purebred puppy for her birthday. Apparently the fact that millions of homeless animals are turned into shelters every year isn't that big of a deal to them.

Even after we wrote to them about the importance of adopting animals from shelters, they still selfishly opted to purchase an animal, like she was a pair of shoes or something.

Hopefully Speidi will see the error of their ways and not buy any more animals, you know, since for every animal purchased from a pet store or breeder, an animal dies in the shelter. At least one person from The Hills knows what's up when it comes to animals ... thank goodness for Audrina!
