There wasn't a moment like that for me. One day I was doing dishes with my mom and I just said "I think we should become vegetarians."
She said "you go right ahead", and I did.
There have been plenty of moments like that to keep me a vegetarian, though. And I really do try to be as vegan as I can...
i saw a pig roasting over a camp fire. it was the most horrible experiences of my life. And then people had the gut to eat it, even knowing it could have lived if they just though about it.
I remember after I went vegetarian I looked the ground beef my mother was cooking and said to myself: "That looks so gross, I can't believe I ate that for so many years!"
Wow i could not agree more, that crap is nasty!

It makes me laugh when people tell me "I'm not eating any of that veg*n rubbish!" because at least I know -exactly- what's in the food I'm eating!!
