A carnivores teeth are ALL sharp and spaced apart so that meat won't get stuck between them. That's why when you eat meat it gets wedged between your teeth. BECAUSE WE AREN'T SUPPOSED TO EAT IT. Humans' diets are supposed to consist of mostly fruit and some veggies.

WOW just WOW NUMBER 2! Number 2 is so dumb, I mean obviously they don't realize the animals are killed just for fur. And, made for us to eat? No, actually we were vegetarian one time but became meat eaters so we could become farmers instead of nomads and because with the wintertime there weren't any plants to eat so they resorted to eating meat which had the nutrients stored up. In today's society we live in a climate that is not too cold and we have clothes for warmth and jackets. We have alternatives to food such as vegetarian food. Last time I checked KILLING anything at all, is considered MURDER. So, killing meat for food, is MURDERING AN ANIMAL. I mean, this is at least what Webster and his dictionary thinks. He's a pretty smart dude, so I'm going with that one ;) Animals are not produced by freaking humans!? Are you the crazy one? Animals are produced by other animals, it's called sexual reproduction.

WOW just WOW NUMBER 2! Number 2 is so dumb, I mean obviously they don't realize the animals are killed just for fur. And, made for us to eat? No, actually we were vegetarian one time but became meat eaters so we could become farmers instead of nomads and because with the wintertime there weren't any plants to eat so they resorted to eating meat which had the nutrients stored up. In today's society we live in a climate that is not too cold and we have clothes for warmth and jackets. We have alternatives to food such as vegetarian food. So this person is extremely dumb, I would love to sit them down and have a huge talk with them about evolutionary psychology and WHY we do not need meat anymore. I'll give them my paper that the president of Evolutionary Psychology in Northeastern America absolutely loved!

yep, there are a lot of fools out there! #2 kinda makes me laugh becuase i think, in actuality, peta is a brilliant group and are very successful at getting to the 'masses'. if one person in a million sees a peta logo, recognizes it, and chooses to pursue more info on the organization, that that should be considered a success!!! the great thing is, that a hell of a lot more than one person in a million recognizes peta logos, and even more are spurred on to do some learning!!! success!!!
i have a major pet peeve i need to get out (#4)...do people not know the difference between herbivore/omnivore/carnivore? a carnivore, by definition, eats strictly meat! i'm pretty sure there aren't many human carnivores on this earth...maybe some that consider themselves such because the only veg they eat is mashed potatoes beside a stinking pile of roast beef, but that's still a vegetable. that makes them omnivores, not carnivores. makes me laugh when people make comments they think are SO smart and witty...

Okay now that I have that out of the way, lol. I half agree with you... People should NOT experiment on, or use animals for entertainment. And as for the clothes and stuff, that's wrong too- unless you are in dire need, not like that runway crap. And I disagree with hunting for sport. Hunting to bring home food is a different story. The bible says man has dominion over all the creatures on earth, but we shouldn't abuse them. Animals should be treated as humanely as possible even when they are going to be used for food purposes. I disagree with genocidal corporations that kill and waste so much. But yeah, like the banner in Earth Fare says "treat what you eat like it matters" i totally agree. And being a vegetarian doesn't make you a whore lol. Being a vegan does JK :)

I did not know I was born as a carnivore. I thought humans were made to eat vegetables and fruits and not fatty meat, or else we get gout. Or other nasty things. Just saying.
My um...favorite? one of these is the one about how God made the animals, therefore they have no soul. This makes no sense. "God made it." Hm. If you believe in that sort of thing, doesn't that mean that animals should have a soul? I mean, God supposedly made humans, didn't he? So doesn't that mean that we don't have souls, if he made the animals and they don't have souls, either? And then this person goes on to differentiate between animals that are eaten and animals that are pets. Why is there even a difference? Dogs are social, loving animals that love attention. This is what makes them a wonderful pet, right? Well, so are pigs. Chickens, right? Cows. And then this wonderful person goes on to say that PETA is trying to tell everyone what to eat and wear. I find this hilarious, because isn't that what this pushy meat-eater here is trying to do as well?
