I can't believe her attorney [in the Fox video] called her 'an avid animal lover.' That's absolutely ridiculous. I'm glad PETA was there to protest and help make it clear that she really does deserve the longest possible sentence.
She pleaded "not guilty", btw. Cause that makes sense...
I worked at a pet store that specialized in reptiles for five years. Never once were any of our animals treated like that. If they had been, I wouldn't have worked there.
Although we did get bad stuff said about us all the time because we dealt mainly with herps.
The usual, "Oh, you guys feed cats to your snakes, right?"
Riiiight. People who start rumors can be a pain. We actually had PETA call us once. I explained the situation to them & even offered an invitation to them to come to our store.
Seeing that photo not only broke my heart in half but it made me sick to my stomach. I hope you're not at peace with your self because what you did was sad! Just remember Jesus Christ loves animals too.

Regardless of her sentencing, she'll be forever known as the "rabbit killer". So even if she gets a "slap on the wrist", her reputation as a human is pretty trashed.

Of course her attorney said all of that. He wants to make her look humane and not like the monster she is! I hope she gets punished for it, and they give her the highest sentence they possibly can!
its people like that that piss me off and to strive for change in the law against animal cruelty to be stronger. its people like that that make me lose faith in the human race.
We can never be a decent society until we have respect for all animals. They give us so much and ask little in return. It would be a sad world if we had no animals they are one of the things that make me want to get up in the morning and be useful member of this society. We should never allow anyone to take that away.
The girl is a little disturbed it seems to me. She needs a lot of counseling. It's not hard to drown helpless animals and she was holding them up like trophies. Like she was proud.
I think a lot of people, even animal advocates, have animal cruelty they have committed in their pasts. We should keep our minds and hearts open to the fact that most people can be reformed.
She needs to be PUNISHED to the fullest extent!!! Seeing that picture made me cry!!!! She has NO RIGHT to do what she did, and she needs to pay for what she did for a long long time!!
Wow I dont care what she claims to have happened she could say it was work or she was forced to do it.... Just thefact that she posted a picture of her holding the rabbits and to top if off with a satisfied look in her face..... That proves she is guilty of not only killing them but enjoying it.... She had no remorse for the rabbits they should show no remorse for her.... So yeah I would like to see her go behind bars and be treated like the animals she so liked to kill.... That may teach her to show compassion next time.... If not there is this military torture where they create the feeling of drowning to make prisoners talk.... I say she gets that as theraphy....
