I would LOVE to design the purse because one day I would like to get a degree in fashion designing! I would totally put a black purse with a red diamond shaped backround, then have the "No fur" symbol in the middle being white! then inside the "no fur" symbol, are tiny red hearts!
Okay... kinda complicated but thats what I would do!
Oh yeah i really like the idea of this bag. here's A design i could picture as really suitable. If I win one I will give it to my next girlfriend or my mom or my dad's girlfriend. I would make a a bag that is checkered like soccer shorts yet shift the checker squares to a carbon fiber look - yet would like to see it not black and silver and not small tiny checker squares but a balanced medium to small size squares. and the bag could have a cold steel shade or stripes between earth tone squares
I definitely LOVE the bags! I love the blue bag! It's adorable and definitely something I need! I have all these little things that get lost and hopefully this bag will help me store everything I need.
But unlike Coach's design, this one would make the statement that one can admire the different prints of the animals we love without killing any of them in the process.
It would be awesome if I could design my own Queen Bee bag. I love randomness so I would probably incorporate that in.. I would make the outside of the bag lime green and the inside bright red. I would put pictures of baby animals all over the outside , but leave enough room so that people could write and draw things. And the inside would say things like “meat is murder”, “Peta rocks!”, and other good quotes. So my bag would be cool, but also help get the word out that killing animals for food is cruel and inhumane.
I'd choose a lovely floral print for the bag, it'd have summary flowers printed all over it such as; blue, green, yellow & pink, and the background would be white, so the flowers stood out nicely, since floral is in at the moment (:
x
I think I’d do a pattern along the lines of stamps…
I know that sounds weird, but there are actually some really pretty, colorful, oriental stamps out there.
I saw some buttons that were stamp themed and ever since… yeah, I’ve liked stamps.
And then it would look all travel-y and stuff.
I'd use a patron with such little chickens like the logo of Peta and flowers. And I'd also use a darker yellow (more orange) background. I love little chickens. They're so cute. I love all animals.
Intricate yet not complicated, this is where I would start on designing a Queen Bee Bag. I would try to involve both a meat/fur free lifestyle with the earth and recycling. As a background I would have the world's continents, the continents would be made up of whale tales or cursive writing that says 'Meats not green' 'Fish are friends not food'..etc. Towards the top of the bag, I would have a gun shooting a flower (or maybe a heart). The flower would shoot towards the Americas or Atlantic ocean. The flower would be encircled with a recycling symbol. Across the other continents an animal (probably a monkey or something) would be hand in hand with a human. The color would be blues, greens, oranges, and the colors of each aforementioned object.
I would design a vegan bag with brontasaurus print all over (because they were plant eaters), lots of peace signs (because vegetarianism is a more peaceful way to live), and maybe a nature-y them like leaves, grass, trees or the sun incorparated (because of how GREEN vegetarians are, and because sunshine makes me happy).
I would love to win a vegan bag! Good luck to everyone. =]
if i could design one of those bags i would replace the straps with white rope and have the bag coverd in navy blue red and white and some anchors i love that navy pattern stuff !!!!!
Adorable!!! I absolutely love the Maple Print, and I love that it's lined. I always seem to get caught in the rainng :( And all my goodies get damp and gross.
My bag would be awesome. It would be designed as so.. A bright blue sky with a very earthy picture. Trees, animals, and plants. It have saying like "Go Green", "Vegetarian", "Animal lover", and so on. It would look so cool. Too bad I'm a bad Fashion designer.
I'd start with stuff like grass and then bees themselves. Or vines and fishes :] Rain drops falling on outstrecthced human hands at the bottom. :D yepperdoodles!
hmm for a patter design how about hounds touth, with little images of cats and dogs juxtaposed in and out of the design. Oh and various patches of pasely in blue and yellow splattered through out.
If I could design a bag I would put a picture of a cute cow and pig and below it I would put the quote by Paul McCartney that says "If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian"
I'd have something earthy. Have it look like a sunny day with a bunch of trees and rainbows and maybe a cute little animal on it. It'd be reversible and you'd have it raining and the animals hiding under a tree and maybe a cute slogan like "I'm not a nugget". I think that'd sell a lot of purses, especially to vegetarians and people who aren't. I'd know I'd buy one!
I would love a bag patterned in the bright blue of the karner blue butterfly - the male and female have differing patterns, but the bright blue of the male detailed with the red detail and darker colour of the female would be just amazing!!
The butterfly is endangered so it would also raise awareness.
If i had the chance to design one of these bags i would use lightning bolts, or polka dots...mainly b/c i love polka dots =) and lightning bolts always looks rad.
A Queen Bee bag would look fab with a pattern that has a tiger-giraffe (that's half tiger, half giraffe) loving a zebra. I'm envisioning a collage type background of things that sparkle, a mod pattern, and leafy forest things with various animals from the animal kingdom frolicking happily in the foreground! Fitting for a vegan bag, no?
I love the black and pink fence print. I kinda feel free when I look at it. It's like something is caged in that bag. Of course my secret little army of lip gloss and candies would be hiding inside. I really love this!
I would def love it if they had a make your own pattern. The bags are super cute and I'd love to be able to put my own photos on it. As a photographer I'd love to have a collage of my work on a bag and just whip it out and show people my portfolio :) I love the fact that a bag this good looking is vegan :)
I would have a turquoise background with different color paw prints all over it with flying tiny hearts and wings.....I have been a vegan for 20 years!
The three designs above are beautiful choices. However, I would love a bag with the V for Vegan, so that I could show off my veggie pride. Perhaps a gray bag with a green V...maybe even some cute little animals...baby chicks :)
I would make it an electric blue base color. Black interior with the i'm scared of needles to design like the one on the sitcker. I love that stick I usually have it on my phone when i go to the doctors lol.
i would make one with a beautiful light green bag, black victorian swirls spilling from the mouth of the bag. Some of the swirls having black silhouettes of leaves, and a single silhouette of a bird on one of the swirls :]
So if I could design a Queen Bee Bag, I'd have a scene created completely of fruits and vegetables. It'd be a day at a park, with broccoli "trees", cauliflower "clouds", celery "park benches", cucumber slices for "stepping stones", lettuce and spinach "bushes and hedges", a star fruit "sun", a "lake" of blueberries, tomato "boulders". It'd be amazing - like walking through a completely edible and vegan-tastic park! I love the style of these bags, they're adorable!!!
I would want to make the background bright orange which represents creativity. I would then want different patches of yellow and blue make a beautiful fig tree across the front. Yellow to stimulate me mentally and blue for calmness and peace. The tree is for strength. So that's what I would want my bag to look like.
Anything plaid, but brown and pink plaid would be so awesome...I would also make the bag wider and more rounded on the bottom, like some sort of satchel, with a flip over messenger-type, hook-closure. Cutesy!
First, I would keep the shape of the bags shown above. I would have a sand colored canvas background, with bright green fern leaves and brown-and-white hamsters. (Just cause its cute). And the strap would either be brown or a thick silver chain. The interior would have royal purple or red silky material and a pocket on either side (no pockets on the outside). The stitching would be sand colored.
If I was designing a Queen Bee bag I would use super bright prints. The base color of the fabric would be black. Printed on the bag would be cartoon animals drawn in a very kid like way. Cute chickens, cats and horses all playing in random games. I would also have a pig holding a sign that reads "No disposible thumbs allowed"
Or Queen bee could team up with Keith Herring and use his prints on limited bags...That would really be dope!
I would like the black and pink bag.
Love and peace
Black background with names of animals all over in different texts and sizes in all the colors of the rainbow! plus this would be a good pick for women of all ages! (:
I would definitely make a messenger bag with all recycled and animal/cruelty free products. I have a newspaper purse that is currently starting to rip in spots so I'd definitely try and make a long lasting one that can handle all types of weather and wear. The first one with the black and pink fence is adorable, the pattern definitely fits my style well. xxxx
I would definitley either have a pattern with stop signs of all different colors. or do zebras all together so you can barely tell where they end and then have one rainbow zebra.
If I could design one I would put animal hoof/paw prints all over with little hearts and peace signs every once in a while in different colors and then in the center have a human hand and inside I would put "We'll never all be equal so long as we kill; stop the madness"
It's probably a little cheesy, but it's the truth. So long as people kill each other and animals, we can never be equal and the world will never be at peace. So mine has a bit of a message and I hope that it can reach other people too.
is i had a chance to design a bag it would be black, green, blue and purple.
-the bag itself would be purple
-the handles would be black
-the blue and green would be for the little earths that would be all over the bag.
Mine would be blue, green, and white almost, like paint strokes, and have cute little messages about the the benefits of being environmentally conscious.
If I could design a purse, I would have it be a pattern of a bird singing in a tree with other happy animals, pigs cows llamas giraffes hippos chickens cats dogs and bunnies, on the ground singing along on a nice sunny day. It would be symbolic of all of the happy animals that are saved due to the heroic vegetarians and vegans of the world. :D
id have a checkered pattern in bright neon colours and have hearts or peace signs stitched in the squares(ok it kinda sounds like the first but i swear i didnt take anything from it)
xD
I would use the black or white material and turn it into a messenger bag, and have a cute cartoon on the flap of the bag of a baby animal and the words "Vegetarian" or "Proud PETA Member" printed across it in a fun lime green font!
Either a brown cardboard looking pattern with stamps on it, and other postcard like travel things "stiched" on it, or purple and lack houndstooth because that's my favorite patern ever!
My design would be made after a Light Meditation that I do every day to help restore balance back to our home. It goes like this: Envision the Earth held in your warm caring hands, then open your crown chakra and fill yourself with Light. As Light fills your body, beam that Light toward the Earth and fill the earth with Light.
Do this every day and every night, or as often as you like.
If I got to design a purse like this, the pattern I would use is the word "Love" over and over again, in different (but pretty!) fonts and colors. After all, love makes the world go 'round!
I used to make bags all the time, but then work and school got too demanding, but if I had the chance, Id used a black floral pattern, using a crazy bright thread, and probably put some fancy buttons on it as well. I like putting lace on things to. So id do that as well. Id really love to win one of the bags. It would be awesome.
I would definitely leave the bag as it is because I like the bigger bags. I totally think that zebra print would be so cute or maybe houndstooth. That has always been a favorite of mine.
I certainly do a pattern with bees playing with the 2 colors (yellow and black), they are such cute animals and nobody sees how they are exploited in the honey making :( ...
I've always wanted a bag with a compilation of hands on them... doing peace signs, jazz hands, making an o, rocking on, and of course, one flipping the bird.
I would design a black one, with a bat looking like an angel. Surrounding the bat somehow the text; "People who test on animals don't come where I am".
i would have a faded blue bag with 2 sparrows in black and white flying with a banner saying 'the heart always wins' and on the inside it would have a liner that is a deeper blue with black zeebra stripes.
I LOVE the bag in the middle picture, with the bird silhouettes and the red ribbons.
If I designed a bag, I would use white silhouettes of bunny rabbits in the shape of a heart...kind of like that one necklace PETA has in their merchandise store...and repeat them on a pink base. The stiching would be white as well. The zipper pull would be in the shape of a carrot! Perfect bag for a spring or summer day!
If I had a chance to design a queen bee bag I'd go with simple material. The main colors would be black and white. I'd put some checker board patterns, wavy checker boards, Red full and broken hearts, maybe a few darker yellow lightning bolts. I'd add a few more random degins, and doodles. It'd just be something fun, and casual :D Maybe some patches stiched on.
It'd look really rad. :D
I would love to have a black bag with purple swirls/wavy lines, or something like that. Personally, I think having an animal rights design on bag is a little bit silly, although I am vegan and totally support animal rights. So, of course, I would be wearing my Peta shirt while carrying the bag. :)
I believe that my design would be of graffiti style consisting of a variety of different pieces of art, like a woman's face, different words, the inside of a human, stars, a whale, and much, much more.
Love them all but would have to go with the first, blue one if I have to choose. And big straps are great - worn messenger style across the body so one puts less stress on muscles and stuff. Good going PETA!
ahh I love purses! And I LOVE designing things! Mostly dresses though...I have a notebook full!
If I could desing a Queen Bee Bag I would do one of two designs. [I have so many ideas it's hard to narrow it down to two even!]
1-this might get complicated haha. The bag would be in basic black and white, and there would be an air/thought bubble with RED lips in it. the lips would be the only colored part the bag would have. the inside of the bubble would be white, outside black with very thin gray horrizontal lines.
2-I'd do a bag with either black or dark gray background and a bright colored dinasaur [you know..those cute ones with the heart above their heads!?] on it that would almost take up the whole bag, and depending what it looked like, then I might have littler other colored dinasaurs [mostly neon colors]
I LOVE the middle bag, the one with the red and birds. it's adorable! I want it really bad!
Hope you liked my designs. :]
Those bags are so cute!
If I could design a Queen Bee bag, it would be a deep plum color with white multi-size embroidered flowers all over it. The strap would be white. It would probably be canvas or hemp.
I would use a metallic silver material to create a look like fish scales... maybe even flap the material so it had the texture! (of course, totally animal friendly..no fish would be hurt in the making of this bag!)
If I could design a bad I would definitely do a patchwork pattern as I love those kinds of bags, but maybe patches that featured peace, love and cute animals.
I would love one of those bags though, they're soo cute c:
Alright, -whispers- are you aloud to use words? Cause if you are, my design would use them... Anyway I really like that barbed wire look and on my bag I would have just a regular black backround with 'Be kind to animals' with really tiny letters in white going in a barbed wire pattern over the whole bag. In the center, the barbed wire would have a hole in it, and a gray silhouette of a cow sort of laying down looking up at a young girl giving the cow a flower. The ends of the barbed wire (letters) would kindof curl up at the ends of where the hole is.
And if you're not able to use words... I would just have that silhouette of the cow and the girl as a pattern. :)
whoa! I love these bags. I just may buy one if i dont win!! I really like the red/white and the black/pink. I guess i like the black one the most because i would get the white dirty =]
my design would be like a quilt type thing.like a bunch of different things that go well together to make a cute over all design.
What I would do for a purse is in one corner would be a [big] caged bird with little music notes flying around it and with other birds flying toward it all around the purse. i guess it would be like the cages bird is singing out for help and birds showing human characteristics like compassion and friendship which we know they can, all fly on their way around the purse to help.
My Design: I'd do a charcoal heather bag with the earth on it and the earth would be sort of cut like the "peace sign". then near the bottom or somewhere on the bag it would say "Changing the World, one PIECE at a time"
I think it's pretty clever, yes? haha
do we get to pick the bag we like? if so I really like the seagull [?] bag with the red curvy lines. I could deffinatly see myself wearing it on the beach! hope I win!
I would design a bag with black and green colours, the pattern would probs be something along the lines of small green hearts with white wings and a black background, tehn dotted around are very small stars as well of different colours.
Green and black are my favourite colours.
I think that any of these bags would be perfect for going to the beach! The versatile design is great too. I'd love the white and red one because it's very unique-- I've never seen anything like it before and it would stand out. I love the look of the birds on it, especially for summer. The wavy red lines are cute too, they make a statement against the more simple design behind it.
Id have it black, with a road going by a field with a random lamp post with a sketch look of a girl standing underneath it, and thatd all be in sepia tone color, and then some birds flying across the sky :) haha
I would choose the pink and dark bag, as a way to remind myself i saved animals going vegan. and when people comment my bag a tell them that animals every where have been put in cages and been barley feed by their owner. That bag would make a great reminder for my choice of becoming vegan; and allowing me to spark interest in others to become vegan. :)
I would make a bag with a wavy flow and the colors would be lilac, light pink, yellow, and baby blue. The end of the waves would turn into swirls. I would make it reversible so the other side would be leopard and zebra print.
I love the brown/pink bag - its the right size for my very long commute to my non-profit employer and would be a perfect conversation topic for my volunteering gigs over the weekend.
Okay, now imagine the pattern on a clownfish. the beautiful bright orange, black, and white stripes. I think that exact pattern would look absolutely adorable on one of your Cruelty Free Queen Bee Bags. The entirety of the bag would look as if you were gazing right at the torso of a beautiful clownfish, and the strap would be a jet black to set off the black stripes within the print of the bag so that the orange isn't too overpowering. And for a little extra detail, i think it would be ordinary and creative to stitch on a small, black, triangular patch with the white wording "Fish are friends, not food." embroidered into it. This would prabably be the cutest located on the right side of the bag, centered between the top and bottom so that it may still be viewed when the top of the bag is flopped down. Now that is a bag i would DEFINATELY buy! =D love all of your patterns by the way!! And all for such a good cause. (:
In the front of the purses pocket,id have a figure come out of the top of the pocket only like a tree sprouting out and an animal on the front of the opposite pocket, like a deer or a bird staring up at the hidden tree. The back all around color would be something simple like a faint printed pattern. Cute
If I could design my own bag I would create an architectural design incorporating organic green structures to create a sortof technical pattern on a bag, perhaps green lines on a brown background. It's kind of hard to explain, especially being a visual person in a design field but I feel that it could address the growing concern for natural green building in today's society.
For me, I would love to have the bag in a plain colour and have prints of all the female fashion icons and role models ontop of the colour. Jackie O., Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn...etc. A practical bag with practical women on it, reminding people of the women who influenced fashions all over the world.
This bag has great construction, and I would love to see it will a lot of color. I think a farmer's market theme would suit this bag, being that markets are usually organic, so that fact would play up the vegan and organic materials it's made from. It would be really cute with fruits, etc., and full of color. A good addition for the summer.
i would use white as the background and the design would be a black outline diamond pattern that are connected by grass green small circlesand somewhere in there have a couple of "no fur" symbols and other world friendly and none animal cruelty symblos.
I would love to get that bag in neon green with neon blue skulls with black ribbon corsetting down the front. It would be sooo adorable!
But if I could choose any of the three there, I would totally choose the black bag with the pink fence print.
That's really cute!
Ok, so this is based on a bag that was made for me out of milk cartons in Ethiopia! (although they didn't seem to understand why I didn't drink milk...)
I would make the background charcoal grey, but in varying shades blended together, like from off white to near black (lightest at the top). On top of the I would have a stenciled cow motif (just the outline) randomly dotted, with one cow with horns in red! The other cows would be in black or white, depending on where they were on the bag (so it would be black cow on white background, and white on black, etc). This would remind people the real cost of leather, and also get a lil' Bullfighting protest in there :P score!
White fabric with little vegetables all over. I think that would be super cute. Also the western/native american patterns are pretty cute as well and they seem to be coming back into style again.
But I think a black and white paisley swirl pattern would be my first choice.
I think a bag with a light blue backround, with red and white horizontal stripes would look good. Maybe with animal prints alternating inbetween the stripes, (one blue print on a red stripe, and vice versa.)
If I were to design a bag for Queen Bee--which would be a great experience, since I love both fashion and sewing--I would want to make a bag that would complement all of my clothing but still make a statement. For that reason, I would probably go with a neutral color like black for the outside, but go crazy with color for the lining. I'd probably use purple--my all-time favorite color--and choose a print that would be cute but remind me of animal rights at the same time. I would love something that looked abstract from far away, but an up-close look would reveal that it was made up of tiny pictures of rabbits in all shades of purple.
I would also make my bag reversible. That way, I could wear it with the neutral side out for daytime or at school, then simply flip it inside out to reveal my brighter side.
if i would be the one to design and because its for peta..i would have several ideas...one of my first would be the fabriic of the bag would be of a very soft feel and the pattern colours would be soft green, brown, orange.very earthy colours and patterns of different animal ayes all over...the strap i would change it into a braded desing same fabric as the whole bag. i hope u got the idea and like it..i sure did! :)
Super soft Slate gray flannel with inconspicuous black stitching and charcoal black ribbon tied to one of the handle loops right where it attached to the bag.
Hmm, well for the bag's colour, I'd make it a frosty pinkish-white, and for the actual pattern, there would be unicorns with smiling cupcakes all around them.
And possibly a penguin or two for good measure.
Because I love penguins.
:D
well I would make the strap a dark navy blue. The fabric would be a light blue and fade to a darker one as it goes down to the bottom ending in a dark black. There would be random splats in different shades of red.
I really like the red and white one pictured above.
My ideal bag, however, would have whales or dolphins on it and would have a teal or navy blue background (my favorite colors).
yes another idea i had was if the bag would have a the bag made out of recycled materials/ With a solid background maybe a neutral color and have the arrows for recycle and to have them printed on the bag in green very small like the size of an emblem a corner of the bag since it is made from recycled materials. Next I would have a design, maybe multi tones and maybe a nature scene like from discovery channel,
I would have a black background with purple neon DropDead Diamonds then in like a blood written statment."Meat is Murder"
And have a cute cow looking sad.
I want a black background. I would like pink lotus with paw prints all over! For the strap, small prints that say save the sea kittens! Inside, green background with peta logo.
I would probably do an all black bag with interchangeable colored handles. And I would probably make the handles longer, because I'm tall and I like bags that hit me under the waist. Or maybe an all grey bag. I love colors, but I like to have something basic and laid back to go with everything I want to wear. I really like slouchy bags like this.
I think I would give it like a rainforest theme, with all these pretty green trees, and different animals, maybe some endangered species to get the message out about endangered species. The tree trunks would flow down throughout the bag and form hearts, or maybe a message about being vegan/veg! And then some colourful flowers on it too. The animals would be stitched on to the bag making them seem more 3D esque. :)The colour scheme would be a mainly green background, with the flowers very bright and popping out.
I like other people, would love to see an animal print rendition. However, if it could be done have leapord print blend into zebra print, while only using the colors black and white. I think this design would cover more animal species and stir emotions to protect their decreasing native land.
i forgot to enter my name i would make one that looked like palm trees on the beach, that would be so so pretty and great for summer and taking with you to the beach. Also Maybe add the peta logo on the front.
>on one side: on the bottom right-hand corner there will be a cartoon animals that are killed commonly for meals (cows, chickens, turkeys, pigs, fish, etc) holding up signs saying "don't eat me", "i deserve to live", "give veggies a chance", etc...and in big letters across top (of that side) it will say "VEGETARIAN = ♥!" in big, bold white lettering
>on the opposite side: on the bottom left-hand corner there will be cartoon animals commonly killed for their fur (rabbits, raccoons, cows, minks, ferrets, etc) holding signs saying "i'd like to keep my fur", "wear your own skin", "i don't want to be skinned alive", etc...and in big letters across the top it will say "FUR-FREE = ♥!" in big, bold, white lettering
*this design will spread a message which ever way the bag is facing :)*
If I could design my own bag, it would have to be a paint splatter design. I absolutely love paint splatter/grunge designs. I probably go for a white bag with pink, blue, and purple splatter on it. Then, to make it extra veggie-friendly, I'd put the image of the "not a nugget" chick and PETA logo in one of the corners, because I love that little character too. ;)
I would make the bag white, just seemingly flat white but it would really be glow in the dark and when the lights went out it would read "CAN YOUR LEATHER BAG DO THIS?"
I would have a train of elephants going all around it holding trunk to tail. Then of course a sweet little aniaml charm on the zipper pull(perhaps the PETA logo? .....) You could do a promortional bag for Peta and some of the proceeds could go to fight the circus!!!!
I would make a Blues Brothers themed bag with Wayfarer black sunglasses print over a white background, and then just have it say in small cursive lettering in blue have "Are you the police?
No, ma'am. We're musicians. "
I would use a damask pattern. The background would be black and the actual damask pattern would be more of a metallic charcoal-y gunmetal grey color. :)
i would make the bag black and it would have green fuzzy stars and embroidered hearts in the same color of green. and the strap would have green and black studs on it would have texture!
or another one i would do is i would have all kinds of multi-colored supper cute aliens with big cute eyes that where those little googly eyes. it would have movement lol! and the strap aould have eyes too!
My bag would have a gold honeycomb background, and a really big crown right in the middle, to represent the queen. In one of the corners, there would be a bee applique, embellished with fun fabrics and rhinestones to make it stand out.
like a pop pattern (huge circles) in green and purple on a white backgroud with hearts in the circles and inside the hearts have a different animal in each :D
I would do an off white base color with a barbwire and leaves pattern (barbwire that looks like it has been overgrown with leaves) and I would put in bright pink "Let out the beast in you, go Veg" in the very center of the bag, with a cute little bunny (the opposite of beast) over the quote.
I would start my Queen Bee Bag by selecting an organic cotton exterior, with a hardy nylon interior. My pattern would be three toned horizontal thick wavy stripes. The bottom color would be a medium earth brown; the top would be a drab green color, and the middle horizontal "wave" would be a sand color background with either sporatic olive branches, or miscellaneous single leaf(s). This bag would symbolize something different for all Vegans:)
i would choose the one on the very right the brown with blue wave like patterns because it is just like my personality, i just go with the flow, (or ribbons/ whatever they are :) )
but i would chose that one because it reminds me of my freegoing personality :D
Well the two most favorite things in my life are my guinea pig, ruby, and being outdoors. So mine would have a tree and a guinea pig laying under it on its back with its hands behind its head just relaxing, with flowers all around it. =]
I would use a hand crocheted bag and sew lace around the edges of the opening and the strap. The strap would be long for a whole body hug. I would have a button, similar to pants, be the way the bag opens and shuts.
On the sides, a V could be made with a series of veggies. On the other side can be a logo and a phrase like, "Meat is murder."
I would want a bag with various farm animal (animals usually treated horribly and used in slaughter based agriculture) prints. The giraffe, leopard, and zebra print bags are a hit! But no one ever sees cow, pig, and chicken print bags because those animals are deemed unimportant and not rare animals. They should have their prints on a bag too(Faux of course) I believe that they would be a hit for vegetarians all over! Of course, on the bag, there would also be the lable "Vegetarian". I believe it would be super cute!
I would love to see an optical illusion one. You know the jesus illusion? Where you stare at this black blob for a while and then you look a white wall and you see jesus? Kind of like that. Except instead of the head of jesus it could be a head of lettuce instead. Or maybe a chicken. Or maybe even ingrid newkirk. I don't know, haha, she's kind of my personal jesus. (:
those bags are so cute! if i dont win im definatly going to buy one.
if i could design a bag i would make it a collage type thing with pictures of places from all over europe - which happens to be the place i want to visit the most.
I would put guitars on it.And on the guitars have like"stickers"on it.And the stickers would be like unicorns, peace signs, vegetables, and slogans like"Veg For Life",and "Tofu is Yummy".
I would use slightly bigger silver hardware and try to make it slightly slouchier in the middle. As far as color, i would use white fabric with almost green neon palm trees screen printed on it using non toxic and environmentally friendly paint maybe something water based.
Oooh!
If I could desgin a Queen Bee purse. . .
I'd make it look like neon pink, green, and blue splatters all over a white and black striped background. These bags are so cute :)
i would put the paw prints/tracks of different animals all over it like;
pigeon, cat, horse shoe, mouse, duck, ect... just to represent their freedom to walk around and leave beautiful tracks on this earth.
I love designing things so they are fashinable and speak up for something. I love art so I'll design one bag withone of my drawing. They real arent a particular thing just shape and different things that come together. Along with my art i would put a saying on the strap and on the bag as well. The lining will be a soft vintage fabric. I would also like to make on a solid color that comes with fabric makers so people can put there own message on there or maybe use a peta stincel :)With lot of compartments as well. I like caring a bunch of random things like my colors and peta stickers in my bag and i would like easy excess. :)
I would like this bag because I'm trying to go Green and go Vegetarian and when I saw my Peta Video it made me sick to my stomach. Literally. I would like this bag basically because It's cute, stylish, and its a top of the line product, so it has good quality. I have real leather things and I'm going to throw out my leather bag if I get this. I WILL change for this bag and get rid of all of my animal eating and wearing ways. I would like the Red and off white one with the seagulls on it. Thank You for giving me the chance to enter!
I want the pink chain and black one because it makes me think of all the poor animals chained and I want to fight back. I am currently trying to become a vegitarian and eventually a vegan but its hard because my whole family loves meat. This would really show my parents that I was committed and they woiuld support me then.
-Savanna Wilson
White fabric, with arctic background and a seal face "painted" like oil painting in the front. It would be super cute, and fitting too as it is the time of the seal slaughter.
bright yellow on the outside, with a big bright green and purple version of the "cut class not frogs" design. the inside would be a nice bright orange color because i love bright colors.
the best one out of those three is deff the middle one tho
something that stands out, but not too much. probably kind of colorful, with some kind of animal print, zebra or leopard, with little pictures, sort of like a collage.
I like the style and details of the bag. I think it is trendy and would be popular with college students. If I had an opportunity to design a pattern I personally would like to see a small to medium checked, plaid design with floral, berry or "BEE"(Queen Bee) accents. Possibly something like pink/white checked-plaid with red or lime green accents. Or, navy/white checked-plaid with red or yellow accents. Or black/white checked-plaid with pink or red accents. I think incorporating a bee somewhere into the design would be a nice trademark for the purses.
Honestly I really love polka dots. So I would use a black and white polka dot pattern for the bag. I love that its totally vegan but still gorgeous. It just shows that fashion doesn't have to be cruel.
I like pink and brown together. So I would put together a pattern of pink and brown with maybe some vintage elements thrown in. I love those patterns with vintage styling.
i would make a black purse with hot pink stripes and random baby blue polka dots all over and cheetah print on the inside and it would be reversible with adjustable straps.
I would have black material on the exterior of the bag, and have random buttons, saftey pins and woven ribbon (like stitches) in various colours (preferably hot pink, orange, red and yellow). When the bag folds down i would have random words stitched onto the now-exterior material. for example- love, stop animal cruelty, peta2 etc. Or saftey tags etc stitched on. for eg- police line do not cross and/or hazardous area. But not too many pins, buttons, stitches or words as simplicity is key to attractive bags.
I'd use a pure white bag with a purple ribbon design like the white/grey bag with the red ribbons and the birds. There wouldn't be any birds on it though and instead of the red ribbons, there would be purple ribbons.
I chose this design because it shows that there is a bright side to every life. The white is something that can easily be stained (like with animals' jobs of being the subject of cruelty) and the purple shows that there is something bright (like the millions of people that care for that animals' welfare).
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to describing a pattern I would want for a hand bag or a purse. I think I'd like bright, cool colored swirly or paisley designs, or maybe some thing tie-dyed? Or maybe a simple black and white floral pattern. I don't know, just something pretty. I'd go with just about anything indie. Or a Pokemon pattern. That would rock.
In honor of Pigeon Day (6/13) I would have a repeating pigeon print, cream on chocolate.
I live in Chicago, and a bag this versatile is a must in the city! Plus, I think all my feathered friends at my El train stop would appreciate a shout out from the pattern on my bag.
Cute, functional and PETA-minded - who could ask for anything more?
If I could design one of those bags I would make a few different ones. One with little piggies all over it. Another with little giraffes. One with brass knuckles but the parts that your fingers go in would be in the shape of hearts not circles. Another in black with a bunch of neon colors all over it probably in the form of splatter paint or skulls and cross bones. And of course I'd make a limited edition peta2 "Free For All" bag featuring the logo all over it in neon colors then one really big logo in it's real color.
I would use a blue fabric with little animals all over it and say 'save a life go veg' ang the srap will have stars all over it with sparkels and attached to the bag would be a key chain with a mini stufed animal, I think that would be cool because its crazy and who dosent like crazy stuff.
If I could design a Queen Bee bag, my design would go with my personality.
I would start with a plain black background, putting a hot pink criss-cross design on the sides. On the front of the bag i would have it say, in a deep purple color, "Sometime around Midnight..." Then, have hot pink, neon green and purple hearts floating up the bag. Beside the wording, have a picture of an empty park bench and a stary night...
Okay :) I would make it black and have someone, like a silhouette of a girl painting a rainbow, and a land scape :) gahh :) That would make me a happy camper! :)
I would have a really sick looking designed word of 'PETA' across the bag diagonally. And the back ground would be a big zoo! Not a zoo that keeps all the animals in a cage, but a zoo where there are no boundaries between us and the animals. And the people and animals would be drawn in more of a cute style.
The straps of the bag would be in a bright neon colour, to make it unique and stand out.
I'd probably make mine black, and then in white have a whole bunch of quotes, inside jokes with my friends, band names, lyrics, and, of course, peta quotes on it. And lots of little doodles :)
That way every time I look at it, I can remember good old times and what is most important to me.
So... I would love to design a bag like one of these! I would choose a pattern of large coral colored jellyfish with a cream background. They would fill the height of the bag and all of their squiggly jellyfish legs would dangle down. It would be on a thick-stiched, canvas-esque fabric.. 100% vegan of course!!!
My Queen Bee bag design would be black for the backround color with on one side of the bag in yellow print saying " I am not a nugget" with a little yellow chick and on the other side of the bag in lime green i would want it to say "cut class not frogs" with a little picture of a froggy. Then my final decotation would be a keychain that says "love me" with a piggy face below it then " dont eat me" below that.
So this may come across as a little complicated, but I would make it a twist on those bags that use airline safety instruction cards' pictures in a comedic fashion.(see http://www.airtoons.com/ for an example of what I mean. Except, splattered over this bag would be several parodies- instructional pictures on how NOT to eat animals, or how NOT to slaughter them- or how to be vegan. For instance, animals escaping a slaugherhouse- "making their way to the nearest exit" or a family at dinner- with a big red instructional arrow pointing at the family member who was eating meat. And you know those signs with a cigarette inside a circle with a line through it to mean "no smoking"? you could use that same circle transposed over a picture of a pig- no smoking, lol.
I know it's a bit complicated, but I think this would be both comedic and get the point across if people were to study the bag-and I think all the diff. pictures- especially if drawn in the same style as airline safety card pictures- would get people's attention.
If I were to design one of these awesome bags, i would probably use a super Mario pattern, or maybe even a cupcake pattern fabric.
I would also love to see one of these bags with a vintage Chinese pattern, or perhaps a 50's children pattern.
I think what would be most fantastic, would be if there was a way to use a pattern, so that a clipper ship could be on one side of it, and perhaps sparrows on the other.
So many great things that can be done with these already BRILLIANT bags!!
If i where to make a bag,
i would make the pattern black victorian and splatter paint a bunch of neon colors, like, neon blue, lime green, hot pink and maybe some yellow :)
I would make the purse purple in the background and mini white rabbits all around the whole purse. Then a couple of them would be white with glitter to make it stand out.
I'm really into retro Fabulous Fifties-style graphics, and I'd love to design a Queen Bee bag with a 50s boomerang design-- like something you'd see in a diner.
If I had a chance to design a bag I would make it zebra print. Then I would put peta2's pig on it saying love me dont eat me or the peta logo. With a adorable nugget key chain. (= (that would be my peta design) For an actuall design for vegans and non vegans, I would have either all black or a zebra sketch print. For the black one I would have the zipper out-lined with a Hotpink fabric. Then as the desgin I would make the peta 2 bunny out of the colors of the rainbow and the neon colors also. For the second one I would create a design that peta has also used recently. The peace sign with the animals around it. Or as the other option a half dog half cow. The in sketched out letters 'The world can change. Go veg.' but the one I really like the most is the Paw and Hand in the air that says 'Animal rights'
I would probally have pleather as the interior or a vegan fabric. If I could make this bag I would send the ladies at peta a free design along with myself. This is my thought of the perfect animal rights vegan Queen Bee bag.
xoxo,
Samie
I would do a Paisley design in a combination of cool and hot colors that are complimentary to each other. I like an adjustable stap so it can be off the shoulder or on the arm. And the inside would be contrasting and the purse would possibly be reversable.....
I would do lots of bright colors like they use in the arts of India and then have an Om symbol at the center. "Om symbolizes everything - the means and the goal of life, the world and the Truth behind it, the material and the Sacred, all form and the Formless." I feel that the vegan, cruelty-free bag and the concept of Om, of everything being one with one another, really goes well together. It speaks peace to everyone, including our animal friends.
i would make the bag wider and make it into a tote bag, and also making the strap longer. the print that i would put on it would be cheetah, zebra, or giraffe print with a heart on one side where the animals heart would be, showing love to and from animals.
I would design it with a jungle design...dark greens and splashes of bright color like flowers, with maybe some jungle animals thrown in there like lemurs and other little fuzzies. :)
I'm going through a nautical phase right now and would absolutely freak for something made out of a life preserver or made of rip-stop, you know.. like what sails are made of. Awesome!
For my Queen Bee bag I would like to see a specialty version made. I would make a recycled material bag using hemp, car tires, silk, plastic bottles, and other natural and recycled materials. I would like to see the bag in a paisley print or a natural 'down to earth' type design using earthy tones. The inside of the bag would have a zippered pocket and some other pockets for carrying miscellaneous items like your cell phone so they are easy to find quickly.
I would have a nature scene. Perhaps a seashore with vibrant blues and greens, or a sunset with muted pinks and greens. Everyone relates to nature, and isn't that what we are trying to protect?
i'd like to make a microwave-designed purse.
i don't know how to make it.
but nothing seems impossible since Yyuri gagarin first stepped his very human's feet on moon.
Since I love all things fiber related, I would use some black soy yarn and knit fabric to cover the outside of the bag and in the center in hot pink would be 'P2' for Peta2
The one thing I would add would be an exterior cell phone pocket on the strap of the bag. That way when wearing the bag across the chest the cell phone is just at mid-chest height -- perfect for answering on the go without having to either pick up the bag or rummage around inside it.
I'd love to see a bubble patterned bag. Not just circles and not polka-dots mind you, but bubbles. Having the bubbles spilling out from a wand like this being blown by a child (http://www.wizardmetals.com/gallery_planet.htm) and then up and around the bag would be incredible!
I'd do a bit of a "collage" purse. One bit of fabric would have blue hearts on a brown background, another would have green peace signs ona blue background, brown polka dots on a green background, a blue, brown, and green striped piece, and so on.
I'd like my purse to be earthy, but still chic and exspressive of what we should all be doing to play our part in helping the animals and our earth.
I would definately incorporate a giraffe style print with yellow and turquoise on the outside with a turquoise adjustable strap. And have a sort of cinch in the middle to give it more of a curvy appeal, with the same type of faux leather material as the strap.
By the way I absolutely adore the chain link fence design. =]
I think the blue patterned bag is the nicest, but if I were to design my own.....I'd get my sister to do it ahaha (shes a designer) but yeah i think I'd stick with that blue pattern but change it so that the blue parts were sparrows.
i would have colorful splots on mine, to represent splatters of my imagination that went into the bag, instead of splots of blood from the innocent cow who died for that bag!
So, if I was to design one of these bags for myself, I'd probably use either a barbed wire design, black background with lime green barbed wire, or maybe something along the lines of records strewn about randomly. There are so many things that I can think of to make different, unique and fun bags for everyone, from young girls to older women. Then again, if I was making these bags, I might allow people to create their own designs, that way, every individual person would have a bag as unique as they are :)
well i have a couple of ideas, i would have a bag of design of how one got to be where they are right now from a kid. another idea would have art materials all over the bag and have like diffrent colors for it and have paint spots on it to give it the artsy feeling. another one is have a seen of the sea with a storm in the middle of it and have a purple sky on it. another idea i have is have a tree branches in forms of faces of each emotion of how a person feels with red and green and brown for the contrast of it
I would make it red and green. Have cherry blossoms on it, and have the biohazard symbol on it to remind us that were all one mistake away from making or beautifull world a disaster.
I would have a solid black canvas bag, with neon paint splatters on it. and it would have a flap and on the flap i would put "PETA2, Just do it." or some saying like that (: and i would have a pink neon cow outline next to it (:
Hey, my name is Kay.
If I were to design a pattern for this bag, I would go all out in funky animal jokes. The bag would be covered with flying pigs (little pink fellows with wings), sleeping sheeps (on clouds) and rubber ducky (think childhood bathtime) cartoons. Hope you like it and have a great day!!!
I have this image of my cat Fernando that is really nifty, sort of Warhol-esque. I would use that, or take a really cool PETA image and do the same photoshop technique on it. I LOVE IT!
If I could design a bag, I would make it sorta like these ones, with the adjustable strap, but I would make it purple and pink (neon) checker style pattern, and I would put a little cartoon animal in ever square. The squares would be medium sized too. =]
if I had a chance to design a QueenBee purse I would make it just a plain color like red or green and i would have silver animal charms coming down the side and on the strap i would have the letters QueenBee stitched in white and i would make a portion of the money that the consumers pay for the purse go towards a charity that helps animals like peta, aspca,or habitat for humanity.
JUST TO STAND OOUT I WOULD THINK A NICE COLLAGE OF DIFFERENT FAUX PRINTS IT WOULD BE TOTALLY POSH. LIKE SOME CUTE DIFFERENT NEON COLORED FAUX ZEBRA PRINT WITH FAUX RAINBOW LEPORD PRINT AND IN THE INSIDE A BRIGHT ORANGE SILKY LIKE MATERIAL WITH A POCKET INSIDE WITH A COLORFUL ZIPPER . ..LOL I GOT KINDA CARRIED AWAY LOL WELL YEH THAT SUMMARIZES IT
i would design a all black bag with little veggies on it and also little animals like pigs, cows, sheep etc with a ban sign over them.it would be really cute but also has a message against eating meat.
I love the black and pink bag. Those are my "signature" colors. lol. That is adorable. I really need a new bag, my old one is falling apart at the seams...
the pattern i would use for the QueenBee bag would make the bag look thoroughly french.lol for the outside you embroider a chandelier with any zippers being studded beads that match the fabric of the chandelier's embroidery. the in lay of the bag is stitched with millions of fleur de lis'.
outside fabric-emerald green
inside fabric-silver
chandelier- silver
fleur de lis- emerald green
strap- braided(emerald green, silver, and studded/beaded fabric.)
really hope i win. please and thank you!
A Queen Bee Bag would have to use the finest of gold silk thread stiching with a gold and brown honey comb patterned material. A few turquoise silouette bumble bees would prove to be a nice accent. Please let me win a bag! Love y'all. Dawn ~moonisis~
I love all the fabric designs used to create these gorgeous bags at Queen Bee Creations. The are very "fluid" in pattern and I am very drawn to them. If I could create a pattern for a bag it would be an abstract pattern imitating the sun rising, gradual shades of color that graduate in density as your eyes gaze at the fabric. You could apply the same pattern design in a variety of colors. Sometimes when I watch the sun rise it is varying shades of colors, oranges, pinks, magentas, even some black, but other days it is more pastel colors with shades of light pink, light blue, light purple and magenta. You can probably visualize what the sky looks like when the sun comes up, or when it goes down and that is what I'd like to see transformed into a pattern on the fabric, I will be your first customer when you create it, LOL! Thanks for the chance to enter.
I would make my bag with the silk look, It would have fringe on the sides and it would have a couple of little swurles of white pearls, any color would be great.Sounds pretty to me.
it would be an abstract pattern, with hues of blue and wave patterns to symbolize the ocean. somewhere in the middle and far right would be the image of a dolphin flying out of the waves, creating a splash, and behind it, would be a shining light to stand for the sun which is setting behind the dolphin.
The bag would be black and I would have a pattern of "I don't eat carcass" quotes printed all over the purse in small, elegant, white print. As graphics, I would put small skulls and knifes all over the bag. At simple glance it would look like another HOT TOPIC bag, but a closer look would send out a powerful message.
I think you should do a super chic Burberry pattern and make the bag in more then one size. Big bags may be in now but some people like the smaller ones. Also, flowers seem to be in now as well as Beach scenes! (:
After glancing at the bags my interest was immediatly stolen. They are very different from others I've seen and I admit I wouldn't mind owning one. However I refuse to bore you with tedious facets of my life that I could relate to the bag like other do. There will be no smiley faces or exclamation marks just words. p.s. this bag would look great on canvas.
I enjoy your bags but I refuse to go on weird tangents relating it to obscene facets of my life. No smileys. No exclamations. Just one person talking to another. p.s. sorry for my un kiss-up ways. p.s.s. this bag would look great on canvas

If i had this bag it would be totally awesome. i would carry it around when I'm walking my dogs and i can have water and some food for them inside as well as me. Also its so stylish!
I'd create one with cute dogs on it. Maybe bones too. In pretty bright colors. I travel with my dogs and having a bag to carry my stuff and theirs that is really cute would be nice. Maybe add a front pocket to hold things I'd need to get to quickly and easily. In my case dog leashes.
First let me say I would carry the Sprout in Hemp Denim - Large Rita- I'm a card carrying member of the grey bag clue & cannot understand why there aren't more bags in general in grey on the market- for obvious reasons! (they match everything- what's more eco-aware than "goes with everything?!" :D
(Pardon my willingness to emote-i-con!) heh
Pleather doesn't do much for me, similar to tofu or soy based foods that are designed to look like their formerly sentient lookalikes.
My ideal bag definitely is a handbag with an generous adjustable strap - long enough to go cross-body & let me be hands free, but can shorten up to for a more tailored look- easily. The strap should be wide - about seatbelt width.
I'd love a bag made of flax or burlap with serious velcro or snaps with a choice of overlays- floral, whimsy, initials- to change out & add to the base bag. Same way I dream of basic high quality handsewn lingerie line which has lots of snaps & clasps to attach different colored cute edging to- to make changing out lingerie more affordable & fun & extend the use of a basic item.
This purse in a dusty dusky rose with a softer dark dovey grey interior. Ideally perhaps reversible but hey, you can't have everything. What I want inside the bag are some straps with nice quick release hardware on them- two or three for a digital camera & what have you & a coordinated detachable strap.
I do love the sprout bag! Good on Queen Bee for using hemp, too! :)
I would use the pattern of leaves because leaves make everyone happy. When i was a little girl my friends and i would gather alot of leaves, and put them in a pile, and we would jump in them. I see animals jump around in them just like my friends and I once did. Leaves remind me of life they grow, become beautiful, them as winter comes they fall and die but a magical thing happends they always come back and bring a smile to your face when you see them and the cycle begins again..
iam not that much in to purese or what not but i do care them around. if i were to make a bag i would have to be...
a beautful sunset or sunrise, on the front it would say on it "every one wants to see a new day not just you". on the back but in smaller print it would say "think about who your hurting before you do it" and it would have one of the peta symbols in the corner.
If I could design a purse i would use a cloth materreal (sp) i would have my purse blue zebra print! i love animal print! i am such an amimal lover! lol i cried watchin peta's videos on like meet ur meat yea i sound like a big wuss but w/e! but i would also make a purse with dinosaura one them. has anyone seen that vegetarian shirt? with that plant eating dino? well i would have little cartoons doodles all over my purse and some t-rexs...my purse size would be in the middle becaouse no one wants a purse to small or to big. my purses would be just rite ^-^
I would like to start by saying I love the blue bag it's such a awesome color! I have always had a thing for the ocean and everything in it so I think I would like to go with a wax batiking print style to pull off that controlled dye look with bolder colors of green and blue in the background and with faded out mint green almost white sand dollars and possibly waves along the bottom edge. Defiantly keeping true to a surfer style look!
I would Make a bag with the pattern of animated animals on it and in quotations I would make it say, "Friendship" because animals are my friends, not my accessories or my meals.
i would use a reversable meteral using free flowing patters on both sides, a bit smaller bag with removable straps. every one should be able to use the bag i would also include attachable pockets for every day needs. every women is deffernt so the bag should be able to fit every women
i would do a classic zebra print with a pink heart either direct center or left bottom corner with an animal rights logo in the heart. you could do some black lace around the border of the heart or make the lettering of the logo zebra print instead of black...there are numerous possiblities. I'd also make a slightly bigger bag. The bigger the bag, the bolder the statement. Animal Rights deserves a bold statement!
A solid base, larger than thicker, and the (correa or ribbon or whatever u call it) adjustable and with several pins to change the positions of the (correa, ribbon, bla bla)
Sorry, I need to practice my eanglish :S
i would absolutely love the gull print purse! its completely adorable & you know, whenever someone sees the amazing bag and asks me where i got it, i could tell them all about peta2 and how important it is to preserve the precious lives of animals. also, on an upside, i love peta!

I would create a pattern that would be a collage of different words and sayings using light colors.
ex.:vegan sayings
facts/exposing the abuse of dead animals
proudly fake materials
organic/recycling
if i was to create a bag, i would decorate it with the back ground as blacj..and the rest covered with mutiple colored paw, claw, ect. prints from various animals. i think it would be a good representation of all being in the animal kingdom and show that every species or creature are equal and should be included.
I actually like all the three bags, because they are pretty and unique in there own way. If I had a chance to design one I would put everyones PETA2 names or nicknames. Just to show apprecation to all of the PETA2 team, or write down everysingle name of an animal and then write with huge letters: WHAT GOD CREATED
AND WHAT WE TRY TO SAVE.
or something like that, that will make a statment.
:)
Well First Of They Are ALL CUTE!But If I Had To Design One...Let's See,I'd Start With Black,All Black Then Use Some Swirly Designs,Maybe Gold Color,Then I'd Put A PETA2 Logo On It:D
What would I put on a bag?
A whole bunch of different animals of course!
Large, tiny, and medium sized animals would be all over my bag, that way I could take them everywhere with me in a place other than my heart (:
I would definitely adjust the strap to make the bag look smaller and have the top of it flop over going for a chic look...
Or for traveling I would just leave it like it is in the picture as a cute, easy-to-handle carry on bag.

i would use a black material with various neon animal patterns 'stitched' on, then on the sides, have black lace woven through.
Posted by: Beth Hostler | June 12, 2009 12:54 PM
The pattern I want is the black and pink one. Nice looking bags, too!
Posted by: Lauren | June 12, 2009 12:59 PM
I would LOVE to design the purse because one day I would like to get a degree in fashion designing! I would totally put a black purse with a red diamond shaped backround, then have the "No fur" symbol in the middle being white! then inside the "no fur" symbol, are tiny red hearts!
Okay... kinda complicated but thats what I would do!
Posted by: Jennie Weer | June 12, 2009 1:12 PM
Leopard print would be really wild and cute.(faux of course! =D)
Posted by: nomorenuggetz | June 12, 2009 1:14 PM
Oh yeah i really like the idea of this bag. here's A design i could picture as really suitable. If I win one I will give it to my next girlfriend or my mom or my dad's girlfriend. I would make a a bag that is checkered like soccer shorts yet shift the checker squares to a carbon fiber look - yet would like to see it not black and silver and not small tiny checker squares but a balanced medium to small size squares. and the bag could have a cold steel shade or stripes between earth tone squares

I would make some sort of Magic Eye pattern. Just because I haven't seen one in a long time and I think people should bring them back into popularity.
Posted by: JF | June 12, 2009 1:50 PM
i would use a pattern of bright neon colors paniting a rabbit while the colors combine with each other..
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 2:08 PM
i would put cheeta print on the bag (:
because i love animals!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 2:09 PM
I definitely LOVE the bags! I love the blue bag! It's adorable and definitely something I need! I have all these little things that get lost and hopefully this bag will help me store everything I need.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 2:12 PM
if i had the chance to design one i'd pick a pattern that had a buncha veggies on it :]] seriously..

I would like to see a bag with an animal print patchwork incorporated into it similar to the popular design that Coach has used:
http://www.evoguemall.co/product_view.asp?ID=2616
But unlike Coach's design, this one would make the statement that one can admire the different prints of the animals we love without killing any of them in the process.
Posted by: Jess | June 12, 2009 2:19 PM
Well, I would design a pattern with a platypus and a mermaid... I love fantasy creatures and odd creatures. They are absolutely beautiful...
Posted by: Paige Patterson | June 12, 2009 2:24 PM
It would use a fabric with some cute birds on it. Then, I would add a little bird keychain. Yeah, that'd be awesome.
Posted by: Mary Vendegna | June 12, 2009 2:31 PM

I think I’d do a pattern along the lines of stamps…
I know that sounds weird, but there are actually some really pretty, colorful, oriental stamps out there.
I saw some buttons that were stamp themed and ever since… yeah, I’ve liked stamps.
And then it would look all travel-y and stuff.

luv the design
Posted by: signe | June 12, 2009 2:36 PM
I'd use a patron with such little chickens like the logo of Peta and flowers. And I'd also use a darker yellow (more orange) background. I love little chickens. They're so cute. I love all animals.
Posted by: Hong Loan | June 12, 2009 2:36 PM
i'd probably want to make it a collage of little bees flying around to spell out the brand name, Queen Bee
Posted by: Liz | June 12, 2009 2:37 PM
I'd use a bumble bee, elephant, owl or tree pattern. Or the moon:)
Posted by: Mylisa | June 12, 2009 2:38 PM
Posted by: Maddie | June 12, 2009 2:38 PM
I would design a vegan bag with brontasaurus print all over (because they were plant eaters), lots of peace signs (because vegetarianism is a more peaceful way to live), and maybe a nature-y them like leaves, grass, trees or the sun incorparated (because of how GREEN vegetarians are, and because sunshine makes me happy).
I would love to win a vegan bag! Good luck to everyone. =]
Posted by: Ashley Spinks | June 12, 2009 2:39 PM
I would use hot pink and black stripes. Have little very light pink chics all around, saying: "don't eat me!"
Posted by: Denise Higgins | June 12, 2009 2:39 PM
If I were to design a Queen Bee bag, I would put Pink and White stripes with black lettering across the front of the bag, saying "Vegan And Proud".
Posted by: Emyli | June 12, 2009 2:40 PM
if i could design one of those bags i would replace the straps with white rope and have the bag coverd in navy blue red and white and some anchors i love that navy pattern stuff !!!!!
Posted by: chloe newbold | June 12, 2009 2:41 PM
I would design my bag with tie dye colours and a hemp cloth strap and bottom.
Posted by: Manon Philion | June 12, 2009 2:41 PM
i would love to see a bag with not only zebra print but also mixed with a giraffe print, kinda faded into each other. i think it would be cool.
Posted by: Cassandra | June 12, 2009 2:42 PM
A water pattern with a cute boy & girl in a row boat down in the corner
Posted by: Shanon | June 12, 2009 2:42 PM
I would make a "The Little Prince" themed bag, with the night sky, the moon, a rocket ship, stars, and maybe even pretty flower.
Posted by: kimberly | June 12, 2009 2:42 PM
Adorable!!! I absolutely love the Maple Print, and I love that it's lined. I always seem to get caught in the rainng :( And all my goodies get damp and gross.
Posted by: Paige Sprouse | June 12, 2009 2:43 PM
My bag would be awesome. It would be designed as so.. A bright blue sky with a very earthy picture. Trees, animals, and plants. It have saying like "Go Green", "Vegetarian", "Animal lover", and so on. It would look so cool. Too bad I'm a bad Fashion designer.
Posted by: Taylor | June 12, 2009 2:44 PM
i would use a pretty flower pattern, involving reds, whites or beige's and blacks and browns, and it would have to be very detailed and beautiful =)
Posted by: taylor hlady | June 12, 2009 2:44 PM
Lots of little green pears! The cutest fruit.
Posted by: Laurren | June 12, 2009 2:45 PM
If I were design a queen Bee bag I would use a polka dots of different shapes with hot pink and black. :)
Posted by: Amanda Jacobson-Eddy | June 12, 2009 2:45 PM
hm...i would use the number for pi lol
Posted by: Rachel Baldeon | June 12, 2009 2:46 PM
I would choose the bag with pink on it! It is absolutly adorable!! Plus, whats better than pink?!?!!!
Posted by: Brittany | June 12, 2009 2:46 PM
I would use a map of the world with a little cute cartoon animal on each country. :)
Posted by: Nicole Pirrie | June 12, 2009 2:47 PM
I would use a paisley pattern with light yellow and greens.
Posted by: Claire Jacobson | June 12, 2009 2:47 PM
I'd start with stuff like grass and then bees themselves. Or vines and fishes :] Rain drops falling on outstrecthced human hands at the bottom. :D yepperdoodles!
Posted by: Katelyn Rochford | June 12, 2009 2:48 PM
hmm for a patter design how about hounds touth, with little images of cats and dogs juxtaposed in and out of the design. Oh and various patches of pasely in blue and yellow splattered through out.
Posted by: Leslie Pickel | June 12, 2009 2:48 PM
If I could design a bag I would put a picture of a cute cow and pig and below it I would put the quote by Paul McCartney that says "If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian"
Posted by: Breanna Bussey | June 12, 2009 2:50 PM
My design would be rainbow coloured cats, tiled on each side of the bag, and have silver chainlinks through the middle eyelets.
It would be tres 80's, and very sick :]
Posted by: Bekka Bonsai | June 12, 2009 2:50 PM
I'd have something earthy. Have it look like a sunny day with a bunch of trees and rainbows and maybe a cute little animal on it. It'd be reversible and you'd have it raining and the animals hiding under a tree and maybe a cute slogan like "I'm not a nugget". I think that'd sell a lot of purses, especially to vegetarians and people who aren't. I'd know I'd buy one!
Posted by: Amanda Zuber | June 12, 2009 2:51 PM
I LOVE these bags! Especially the blue patterned one! :)
Posted by: Josane | June 12, 2009 2:52 PM
I would use a Topographic map pattern!
Posted by: Lena | June 12, 2009 2:52 PM
I would love a bag patterned in the bright blue of the karner blue butterfly - the male and female have differing patterns, but the bright blue of the male detailed with the red detail and darker colour of the female would be just amazing!!
The butterfly is endangered so it would also raise awareness.
Posted by: Penny | June 12, 2009 2:55 PM
If i had the chance to design one of these bags i would use lightning bolts, or polka dots...mainly b/c i love polka dots =) and lightning bolts always looks rad.
Posted by: alicia mcdonald | June 12, 2009 2:56 PM
SO CUTE!!
Posted by: Kate Szymborn | June 12, 2009 2:57 PM
Por favor yo quiero uno!! I want one please!!!
Posted by: viviana martinez | June 12, 2009 2:58 PM
A Queen Bee bag would look fab with a pattern that has a tiger-giraffe (that's half tiger, half giraffe) loving a zebra. I'm envisioning a collage type background of things that sparkle, a mod pattern, and leafy forest things with various animals from the animal kingdom frolicking happily in the foreground! Fitting for a vegan bag, no?
Posted by: Becky Johnson | June 12, 2009 3:01 PM
I love the black and pink fence print. I kinda feel free when I look at it. It's like something is caged in that bag. Of course my secret little army of lip gloss and candies would be hiding inside. I really love this!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 3:02 PM
I would def love it if they had a make your own pattern. The bags are super cute and I'd love to be able to put my own photos on it. As a photographer I'd love to have a collage of my work on a bag and just whip it out and show people my portfolio :) I love the fact that a bag this good looking is vegan :)
Posted by: Jessica Mees | June 12, 2009 3:05 PM
I would have a turquoise background with different color paw prints all over it with flying tiny hearts and wings.....I have been a vegan for 20 years!
Posted by: Kim Dodd | June 12, 2009 3:08 PM
The three designs above are beautiful choices. However, I would love a bag with the V for Vegan, so that I could show off my veggie pride. Perhaps a gray bag with a green V...maybe even some cute little animals...baby chicks :)
Posted by: Stephanie Boardman | June 12, 2009 3:08 PM
I would make it an electric blue base color. Black interior with the i'm scared of needles to design like the one on the sitcker. I love that stick I usually have it on my phone when i go to the doctors lol.
Posted by: Stephanie | June 12, 2009 3:09 PM
Those are such cute bags!
i would make one with a beautiful light green bag, black victorian swirls spilling from the mouth of the bag. Some of the swirls having black silhouettes of leaves, and a single silhouette of a bird on one of the swirls :]
Posted by: Tara | June 12, 2009 3:09 PM
So if I could design a Queen Bee Bag, I'd have a scene created completely of fruits and vegetables. It'd be a day at a park, with broccoli "trees", cauliflower "clouds", celery "park benches", cucumber slices for "stepping stones", lettuce and spinach "bushes and hedges", a star fruit "sun", a "lake" of blueberries, tomato "boulders". It'd be amazing - like walking through a completely edible and vegan-tastic park! I love the style of these bags, they're adorable!!!
Posted by: Callie Cooper | June 12, 2009 3:14 PM
I would want to make the background bright orange which represents creativity. I would then want different patches of yellow and blue make a beautiful fig tree across the front. Yellow to stimulate me mentally and blue for calmness and peace. The tree is for strength. So that's what I would want my bag to look like.
Posted by: katie leblang | June 12, 2009 3:14 PM
Honey Comb would be so adorable.
Posted by: CMD | June 12, 2009 3:17 PM
Anything plaid, but brown and pink plaid would be so awesome...I would also make the bag wider and more rounded on the bottom, like some sort of satchel, with a flip over messenger-type, hook-closure. Cutesy!
Posted by: Kate | June 12, 2009 3:18 PM
I would do a checker print with some neon peace signs
Posted by: Devin Ormin | June 12, 2009 3:20 PM
I would love to have one object orinted on the bag, like a cupcake, or a cookie, a fruit or an animal drawn in a funny way :)
Posted by: Nataliya Semez | June 12, 2009 3:21 PM
First, I would keep the shape of the bags shown above. I would have a sand colored canvas background, with bright green fern leaves and brown-and-white hamsters. (Just cause its cute). And the strap would either be brown or a thick silver chain. The interior would have royal purple or red silky material and a pocket on either side (no pockets on the outside). The stitching would be sand colored.
Posted by: Sarah Castillo | June 12, 2009 3:23 PM
If I was designing a Queen Bee bag I would use super bright prints. The base color of the fabric would be black. Printed on the bag would be cartoon animals drawn in a very kid like way. Cute chickens, cats and horses all playing in random games. I would also have a pig holding a sign that reads "No disposible thumbs allowed"
Or Queen bee could team up with Keith Herring and use his prints on limited bags...That would really be dope!
I would like the black and pink bag.
Love and peace
Posted by: frankie taylor | June 12, 2009 3:24 PM
Black background with names of animals all over in different texts and sizes in all the colors of the rainbow! plus this would be a good pick for women of all ages! (:
Posted by: Marissa | June 12, 2009 3:26 PM
I would definitely make a messenger bag with all recycled and animal/cruelty free products. I have a newspaper purse that is currently starting to rip in spots so I'd definitely try and make a long lasting one that can handle all types of weather and wear. The first one with the black and pink fence is adorable, the pattern definitely fits my style well. xxxx
Posted by: Chelsea | June 12, 2009 3:27 PM
I would definitley either have a pattern with stop signs of all different colors. or do zebras all together so you can barely tell where they end and then have one rainbow zebra.
Posted by: valerie | June 12, 2009 3:28 PM
I would like to use a zebra or leopard patern because it is so in ! :)
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 3:28 PM
I would use a zebra or leopard print because it is so in! :)
Posted by: karianne | June 12, 2009 3:30 PM
I would love a simple black bag, maybe with a little grey or white in it with a simple pattern. Although, I do love swirls!
Posted by: April Terrell | June 12, 2009 3:30 PM
If I could design one I would put animal hoof/paw prints all over with little hearts and peace signs every once in a while in different colors and then in the center have a human hand and inside I would put "We'll never all be equal so long as we kill; stop the madness"
It's probably a little cheesy, but it's the truth. So long as people kill each other and animals, we can never be equal and the world will never be at peace. So mine has a bit of a message and I hope that it can reach other people too.
-Alyssa
Posted by: Alyssa | June 12, 2009 3:31 PM
is i had a chance to design a bag it would be black, green, blue and purple.
-the bag itself would be purple
-the handles would be black
-the blue and green would be for the little earths that would be all over the bag.
Posted by: Brittany Maxk | June 12, 2009 3:32 PM
I'd go with some brow/cream colours, some swirling, cloudy patterns and some larger, dark buttons (:
Posted by: Anne Cathrine Dalgaard | June 12, 2009 3:32 PM
I think I'd do something simple, like stripes or circles. Maybe peace signs here and there. The designs shown are really cute, too. :)
Posted by: Angeli Marteja | June 12, 2009 3:33 PM
Mine would be blue, green, and white almost, like paint strokes, and have cute little messages about the the benefits of being environmentally conscious.
Posted by: Kasey Murphy | June 12, 2009 3:35 PM
If I could design a purse, I would have it be a pattern of a bird singing in a tree with other happy animals, pigs cows llamas giraffes hippos chickens cats dogs and bunnies, on the ground singing along on a nice sunny day. It would be symbolic of all of the happy animals that are saved due to the heroic vegetarians and vegans of the world. :D
Posted by: Jesi Palmehn | June 12, 2009 3:36 PM
ouu ok wow those bags are nice...
id have a checkered pattern in bright neon colours and have hearts or peace signs stitched in the squares(ok it kinda sounds like the first but i swear i didnt take anything from it)
xD
Posted by: Alixx P | June 12, 2009 3:36 PM
I would design a bag with a close up image of cat eyes and an animal rights quote along the bottom edge.
Posted by: leah allers | June 12, 2009 3:38 PM
I would use the black or white material and turn it into a messenger bag, and have a cute cartoon on the flap of the bag of a baby animal and the words "Vegetarian" or "Proud PETA Member" printed across it in a fun lime green font!
Posted by: Maddie | June 12, 2009 3:40 PM
Either a brown cardboard looking pattern with stamps on it, and other postcard like travel things "stiched" on it, or purple and lack houndstooth because that's my favorite patern ever!
Posted by: Katy B | June 12, 2009 3:40 PM
i would definitely use the first one!
but i wouldn't just use black &pink
i would use BRIGHT color schemes(:
like a yellow, lime green, that good stuff(:
Posted by: Krissian | June 12, 2009 3:42 PM
vintage looking black and white flowers :)
Posted by: amanda tink | June 12, 2009 3:42 PM
i would use leopard or zebra print with some bright pink trim!!Including the handle.....
Posted by: sherry g | June 12, 2009 3:42 PM
I would love to see a multi-coloured paisley print :)
Posted by: Bethany | June 12, 2009 3:42 PM
My design would be made after a Light Meditation that I do every day to help restore balance back to our home. It goes like this: Envision the Earth held in your warm caring hands, then open your crown chakra and fill yourself with Light. As Light fills your body, beam that Light toward the Earth and fill the earth with Light.
Do this every day and every night, or as often as you like.
Posted by: Kristen Klauer | June 12, 2009 3:45 PM
i would LOVE the red and white one :D
Posted by: Evan Smith | June 12, 2009 3:47 PM
If I got to design a purse like this, the pattern I would use is the word "Love" over and over again, in different (but pretty!) fonts and colors. After all, love makes the world go 'round!
Posted by: Kirsty | June 12, 2009 3:49 PM
I used to make bags all the time, but then work and school got too demanding, but if I had the chance, Id used a black floral pattern, using a crazy bright thread, and probably put some fancy buttons on it as well. I like putting lace on things to. So id do that as well. Id really love to win one of the bags. It would be awesome.
Posted by: Melissa | June 12, 2009 3:50 PM
Mad cute stuff right there
Posted by: Brittni | June 12, 2009 3:51 PM
I would definitely leave the bag as it is because I like the bigger bags. I totally think that zebra print would be so cute or maybe houndstooth. That has always been a favorite of mine.
Posted by: Ariel Schreiner | June 12, 2009 3:52 PM
I certainly do a pattern with bees playing with the 2 colors (yellow and black), they are such cute animals and nobody sees how they are exploited in the honey making :( ...
Posted by: Sharon | June 12, 2009 3:52 PM
I've always wanted a bag with a compilation of hands on them... doing peace signs, jazz hands, making an o, rocking on, and of course, one flipping the bird.
Posted by: Ellie Fujimoto | June 12, 2009 3:53 PM
hmmm..... I would have a flower pattern on it in red and black. I would have it say something like No more fur.
Posted by: Gabrielle | June 12, 2009 3:54 PM
I would totally use hot pink and black zebra print (no animals harmed, of course!). Maybe sparkly!
Posted by: Molly | June 12, 2009 3:55 PM
I would design a black one, with a bat looking like an angel. Surrounding the bat somehow the text; "People who test on animals don't come where I am".
Posted by: Kristin | June 12, 2009 3:55 PM
i would have a faded blue bag with 2 sparrows in black and white flying with a banner saying 'the heart always wins' and on the inside it would have a liner that is a deeper blue with black zeebra stripes.
Posted by: alex | June 12, 2009 3:56 PM
i would love to see a bag that had neon dinosaurs on it with a black background :)
Posted by: Michelle Sibbel | June 12, 2009 3:56 PM
I LOVE the bag in the middle picture, with the bird silhouettes and the red ribbons.
If I designed a bag, I would use white silhouettes of bunny rabbits in the shape of a heart...kind of like that one necklace PETA has in their merchandise store...and repeat them on a pink base. The stiching would be white as well. The zipper pull would be in the shape of a carrot! Perfect bag for a spring or summer day!
Posted by: Divya | June 12, 2009 3:57 PM
If I had a chance to design a queen bee bag I'd go with simple material. The main colors would be black and white. I'd put some checker board patterns, wavy checker boards, Red full and broken hearts, maybe a few darker yellow lightning bolts. I'd add a few more random degins, and doodles. It'd just be something fun, and casual :D Maybe some patches stiched on.
It'd look really rad. :D
Posted by: SkyFire | June 12, 2009 3:59 PM
I would love to have a black bag with purple swirls/wavy lines, or something like that. Personally, I think having an animal rights design on bag is a little bit silly, although I am vegan and totally support animal rights. So, of course, I would be wearing my Peta shirt while carrying the bag. :)
Posted by: molly dean | June 12, 2009 4:01 PM
I believe that my design would be of graffiti style consisting of a variety of different pieces of art, like a woman's face, different words, the inside of a human, stars, a whale, and much, much more.
Posted by: Alexandria | June 12, 2009 4:02 PM
a white pleather bag with the word "vegan" on it, and with all different faux animal furs! :D
Posted by: Maggie Holmes | June 12, 2009 4:03 PM
I would most definitely choose a tie-dye pattern. It would look perfect!
Posted by: Rachel | June 12, 2009 4:06 PM
Love them all but would have to go with the first, blue one if I have to choose. And big straps are great - worn messenger style across the body so one puts less stress on muscles and stuff. Good going PETA!
Posted by: judie Stein | June 12, 2009 4:07 PM
the red and white one with black-ish patterns is cute :) love your guys' cause!
Posted by: Amanda Rosenblatt | June 12, 2009 4:08 PM
i'd use "peta 2" in different neon colors (pink, green and yellow) all over the bag which would have a basic black.
Posted by: Simone | June 12, 2009 4:09 PM
i would have various animals with peace symbols scattered around the animals.
Posted by: maxine b | June 12, 2009 4:09 PM
I love the layout of the purse,
but i think a dark blue pattern would look absolutly amazing. maybe with some splashes of bright green(:
Posted by: Ariel Toth | June 12, 2009 4:12 PM
Something very Americana, especially for summer, coutry plaid, or blue with white stars.
Posted by: Miranda | June 12, 2009 4:13 PM
ahh I love purses!
Posted by: Katie | June 12, 2009 4:13 PM
Those bags are so cute!
If I could design a Queen Bee bag, it would be a deep plum color with white multi-size embroidered flowers all over it. The strap would be white. It would probably be canvas or hemp.
Posted by: shuuu | June 12, 2009 4:14 PM
I would use a metallic silver material to create a look like fish scales... maybe even flap the material so it had the texture! (of course, totally animal friendly..no fish would be hurt in the making of this bag!)
Posted by: Jenny Taylor | June 12, 2009 4:15 PM
If I could design a bad I would definitely do a patchwork pattern as I love those kinds of bags, but maybe patches that featured peace, love and cute animals.
I would love one of those bags though, they're soo cute c:
Posted by: Tara | June 12, 2009 4:15 PM
I would probably just have one that's black with neon pink piping on the edges. =)
Posted by: Stella | June 12, 2009 4:15 PM
Posted by: Kayleigh S. | June 12, 2009 4:17 PM
whoa! I love these bags. I just may buy one if i dont win!! I really like the red/white and the black/pink. I guess i like the black one the most because i would get the white dirty =]
my design would be like a quilt type thing.like a bunch of different things that go well together to make a cute over all design.
Posted by: Siara | June 12, 2009 4:17 PM
What I would do for a purse is in one corner would be a [big] caged bird with little music notes flying around it and with other birds flying toward it all around the purse. i guess it would be like the cages bird is singing out for help and birds showing human characteristics like compassion and friendship which we know they can, all fly on their way around the purse to help.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 4:18 PM
I would have a pattern of African prints. Wild geometric shapes in bold and bright colors. Perfect for the summer!
Posted by: Janelle Bauer | June 12, 2009 4:19 PM
These bags are SO cute!! :D
I could deffinatly see myself wearing it on the beach! hope I win!
Posted by: Katelynn | June 12, 2009 4:19 PM
Rainbow leopard print fading to rainbow zebra print :)
Or the first one in barbed wire instead of chain-linked fence would be pretty sweet, in my opinion!
Posted by: Molly Fessel | June 12, 2009 4:20 PM
I think one of these bags would look gorgeous in a black and white damask pattern! It would look classy, but also modern.
Posted by: Britt Da Silva | June 12, 2009 4:24 PM
I would use a argyle pattern.
Posted by: becca | June 12, 2009 4:28 PM
I would design a bag with black and green colours, the pattern would probs be something along the lines of small green hearts with white wings and a black background, tehn dotted around are very small stars as well of different colours.
Green and black are my favourite colours.
Posted by: Samntha Wan | June 12, 2009 4:32 PM
I think that any of these bags would be perfect for going to the beach! The versatile design is great too. I'd love the white and red one because it's very unique-- I've never seen anything like it before and it would stand out. I love the look of the birds on it, especially for summer. The wavy red lines are cute too, they make a statement against the more simple design behind it.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 4:33 PM
I would design a boho shaped bag with tiny pigs, cows, bunnies all around it with "Vegan's don't just say they love animals" printed in it.

Id have it black, with a road going by a field with a random lamp post with a sketch look of a girl standing underneath it, and thatd all be in sepia tone color, and then some birds flying across the sky :) haha

Posted by: roberta | June 12, 2009 4:38 PM
I would choose the pink and dark bag, as a way to remind myself i saved animals going vegan. and when people comment my bag a tell them that animals every where have been put in cages and been barley feed by their owner. That bag would make a great reminder for my choice of becoming vegan; and allowing me to spark interest in others to become vegan. :)
Posted by: alexandra Bacon | June 12, 2009 4:39 PM
I would have BEE's as the material (Queen Bee Creations) or perhaps a bee's nest with lots of bees around
Posted by: Robin Featherston | June 12, 2009 4:39 PM
I would make a bag with a wavy flow and the colors would be lilac, light pink, yellow, and baby blue. The end of the waves would turn into swirls. I would make it reversible so the other side would be leopard and zebra print.
Posted by: Taylor Gibson | June 12, 2009 4:44 PM
I love the brown/pink bag - its the right size for my very long commute to my non-profit employer and would be a perfect conversation topic for my volunteering gigs over the weekend.
Posted by: ND | June 12, 2009 4:44 PM
Posted by: Danyale McElroy | June 12, 2009 4:46 PM
In the front of the purses pocket,id have a figure come out of the top of the pocket only like a tree sprouting out and an animal on the front of the opposite pocket, like a deer or a bird staring up at the hidden tree. The back all around color would be something simple like a faint printed pattern. Cute
Posted by: Crysatal Rodriguez | June 12, 2009 4:47 PM
If I could design my own bag I would create an architectural design incorporating organic green structures to create a sortof technical pattern on a bag, perhaps green lines on a brown background. It's kind of hard to explain, especially being a visual person in a design field but I feel that it could address the growing concern for natural green building in today's society.
Posted by: Christie Noonan | June 12, 2009 4:48 PM
For me, I would love to have the bag in a plain colour and have prints of all the female fashion icons and role models ontop of the colour. Jackie O., Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn...etc. A practical bag with practical women on it, reminding people of the women who influenced fashions all over the world.
Posted by: Amy | June 12, 2009 4:51 PM

I would use a black material with zombie animal on it :) that would be awsome !!!!
Posted by: karine | June 12, 2009 4:53 PM
I love the pink and black purse but if I had to pick a print myself I would def look for some type of pictures of Animals...or maybe a jungle scene =)
Posted by: Kelly Goble | June 12, 2009 4:56 PM
This bag has great construction, and I would love to see it will a lot of color. I think a farmer's market theme would suit this bag, being that markets are usually organic, so that fact would play up the vegan and organic materials it's made from. It would be really cute with fruits, etc., and full of color. A good addition for the summer.
Posted by: Hannah | June 12, 2009 5:01 PM
I'd use black and white striped material with yellow stars scattered about. (:
Posted by: Bella | June 12, 2009 5:01 PM
I would use a houndstooth pattern, probably pink and teal (fave colors:])
Posted by: Dana Briggs | June 12, 2009 5:04 PM
I'd go for leopard print! Who said you needed to hurt animals to dress fashionably!
Posted by: Noor Jawad | June 12, 2009 5:06 PM
i would use white as the background and the design would be a black outline diamond pattern that are connected by grass green small circlesand somewhere in there have a couple of "no fur" symbols and other world friendly and none animal cruelty symblos.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 5:06 PM
I would love to get that bag in neon green with neon blue skulls with black ribbon corsetting down the front. It would be sooo adorable!
But if I could choose any of the three there, I would totally choose the black bag with the pink fence print.
That's really cute!
Posted by: JinXie | June 12, 2009 5:08 PM
The pattern i would use would be different leaves to show the earth and the environment and diversity!!
Posted by: Sara | June 12, 2009 5:18 PM
i would like to make a lime green bag that says "go veg" on it with black lettering
Posted by: Kirsten | June 12, 2009 5:20 PM
Posted by: Emily Poore | June 12, 2009 5:21 PM
White fabric with little vegetables all over. I think that would be super cute. Also the western/native american patterns are pretty cute as well and they seem to be coming back into style again.
But I think a black and white paisley swirl pattern would be my first choice.
Posted by: Chelsea | June 12, 2009 5:23 PM
I'd love to have a bag with penguins on it--they're my fave animal.
Posted by: Jennifer | June 12, 2009 5:33 PM
I would use a fabric that had black (or white), hand-drawn illustrations of vintage camera's all over it- because I'm a fiend for cameras, and bags!
You could then implement khaki, navy blue or crimson for the background color.
-Becca!
(These bags would be perfect for my Holga!)
Posted by: Becca Martino | June 12, 2009 5:36 PM
I think a bag with a light blue backround, with red and white horizontal stripes would look good. Maybe with animal prints alternating inbetween the stripes, (one blue print on a red stripe, and vice versa.)
:)
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 5:36 PM
Posted by: Brittney Reed | June 12, 2009 5:37 PM
+ I want some rainbows and clouds on my bag xD
weehee!
Posted by: meg | June 12, 2009 5:48 PM
I would have possibly either an army green or red bag.
the phrase "Stay True" would be printed across it.
we need to keep ourselves clean and positive, dont be ashamed to be the way we are. :]

if i would be the one to design and because its for peta..i would have several ideas...one of my first would be the fabriic of the bag would be of a very soft feel and the pattern colours would be soft green, brown, orange.very earthy colours and patterns of different animal ayes all over...the strap i would change it into a braded desing same fabric as the whole bag. i hope u got the idea and like it..i sure did! :)

It would be cool if you did a bumble bee pattern or butterfly because they are supper cute!!
Posted by: Sarah Johnson | June 12, 2009 6:32 PM
I think a faux zebra stripe purse would be really cute, and in style of course. I have always loved the pattern on zebras, it's beautiful :)
Posted by: Tiffany Schebesch | June 12, 2009 6:32 PM
If I could make my own bag it would say Spread Love in a vintage font with some cool paisley designs and all black and white.
Posted by: Lauren K | June 12, 2009 6:38 PM
Super soft Slate gray flannel with inconspicuous black stitching and charcoal black ribbon tied to one of the handle loops right where it attached to the bag.
Posted by: Heather | June 12, 2009 6:52 PM
Hmm, well for the bag's colour, I'd make it a frosty pinkish-white, and for the actual pattern, there would be unicorns with smiling cupcakes all around them.
And possibly a penguin or two for good measure.
Because I love penguins.
:D
Posted by: Anonymous | June 12, 2009 6:57 PM
well I would make the strap a dark navy blue. The fabric would be a light blue and fade to a darker one as it goes down to the bottom ending in a dark black. There would be random splats in different shades of red.

the black and pink one. i love purse and bag :D
Posted by: Cindy | June 12, 2009 9:33 PM
yes another idea i had was if the bag would have a the bag made out of recycled materials/ With a solid background maybe a neutral color and have the arrows for recycle and to have them printed on the bag in green very small like the size of an emblem a corner of the bag since it is made from recycled materials. Next I would have a design, maybe multi tones and maybe a nature scene like from discovery channel,
Posted by: jordan bailey | June 12, 2009 9:54 PM
ohhh petalious i would put a peta sticker on it that also shows that you can have amazing fashion with out killing or harming poor animals

And have a cute cow looking sad.
Posted by: Charlie Leadbeatter | June 12, 2009 10:31 PM
I want a black background. I would like pink lotus with paw prints all over! For the strap, small prints that say save the sea kittens! Inside, green background with peta logo.
Posted by: Eva | June 12, 2009 10:31 PM
I would probably do an all black bag with interchangeable colored handles. And I would probably make the handles longer, because I'm tall and I like bags that hit me under the waist. Or maybe an all grey bag. I love colors, but I like to have something basic and laid back to go with everything I want to wear. I really like slouchy bags like this.
Posted by: Connor Paige | June 12, 2009 10:34 PM
I think I would give it like a rainforest theme, with all these pretty green trees, and different animals, maybe some endangered species to get the message out about endangered species. The tree trunks would flow down throughout the bag and form hearts, or maybe a message about being vegan/veg! And then some colourful flowers on it too. The animals would be stitched on to the bag making them seem more 3D esque. :)The colour scheme would be a mainly green background, with the flowers very bright and popping out.
Posted by: Taya | June 12, 2009 10:38 PM
I would totally make a rainbow zebra striped one! :D THAT WOULD BE HECKA AMAZING
Posted by: Tasha | June 12, 2009 10:51 PM

I would want one with drawings of various animals on it to show my love for all animmals. I would also want some sparkle added to it.
Posted by: Cindy | June 12, 2009 11:27 PM
I like other people, would love to see an animal print rendition. However, if it could be done have leapord print blend into zebra print, while only using the colors black and white. I think this design would cover more animal species and stir emotions to protect their decreasing native land.
Posted by: Chloe Reid | June 12, 2009 11:42 PM
I would have the background be like a sheet of notebook paper and on that, there would be sketches of stick figure animals.
Posted by: Katie | June 12, 2009 11:46 PM
I would make one out of pattern that was palm trees on a beach, that would be so so pretty and great for summer and the beach too.

Posted by: Rebecca | June 12, 2009 11:51 PM
for the design:
>the purse will be all black...
>on one side: on the bottom right-hand corner there will be a cartoon animals that are killed commonly for meals (cows, chickens, turkeys, pigs, fish, etc) holding up signs saying "don't eat me", "i deserve to live", "give veggies a chance", etc...and in big letters across top (of that side) it will say "VEGETARIAN = ♥!" in big, bold white lettering
>on the opposite side: on the bottom left-hand corner there will be cartoon animals commonly killed for their fur (rabbits, raccoons, cows, minks, ferrets, etc) holding signs saying "i'd like to keep my fur", "wear your own skin", "i don't want to be skinned alive", etc...and in big letters across the top it will say "FUR-FREE = ♥!" in big, bold, white lettering
*this design will spread a message which ever way the bag is facing :)*
Posted by: dana | June 13, 2009 12:06 AM
If I could design my own bag, it would have to be a paint splatter design. I absolutely love paint splatter/grunge designs. I probably go for a white bag with pink, blue, and purple splatter on it. Then, to make it extra veggie-friendly, I'd put the image of the "not a nugget" chick and PETA logo in one of the corners, because I love that little character too. ;)
Posted by: Cassie | June 13, 2009 12:09 AM
I would make the bag white, just seemingly flat white but it would really be glow in the dark and when the lights went out it would read "CAN YOUR LEATHER BAG DO THIS?"
Posted by: Anonymous | June 13, 2009 12:20 AM
I would have a train of elephants going all around it holding trunk to tail. Then of course a sweet little aniaml charm on the zipper pull(perhaps the PETA logo? .....) You could do a promortional bag for Peta and some of the proceeds could go to fight the circus!!!!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 13, 2009 12:25 AM
I would make a Blues Brothers themed bag with Wayfarer black sunglasses print over a white background, and then just have it say in small cursive lettering in blue have "Are you the police?
No, ma'am. We're musicians. "
Posted by: Liz Raphaelson | June 13, 2009 12:55 AM
I would use a damask pattern. The background would be black and the actual damask pattern would be more of a metallic charcoal-y gunmetal grey color. :)
Posted by: Anonymous | June 13, 2009 1:31 AM
i would make the bag black and it would have green fuzzy stars and embroidered hearts in the same color of green. and the strap would have green and black studs on it would have texture!
or another one i would do is i would have all kinds of multi-colored supper cute aliens with big cute eyes that where those little googly eyes. it would have movement lol! and the strap aould have eyes too!

If I created a Queen Bee bag, I'd definitely use a white swirl pattern on a black bag with white lace around the seams.
Posted by: Stephanie | June 13, 2009 2:06 AM
My bag would have a gold honeycomb background, and a really big crown right in the middle, to represent the queen. In one of the corners, there would be a bee applique, embellished with fun fabrics and rhinestones to make it stand out.
LOVE these patterns.

Posted by: allegro | June 13, 2009 9:48 AM
I would do an off white base color with a barbwire and leaves pattern (barbwire that looks like it has been overgrown with leaves) and I would put in bright pink "Let out the beast in you, go Veg" in the very center of the bag, with a cute little bunny (the opposite of beast) over the quote.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 13, 2009 10:54 AM
peace signs and bat shapes, for a punky yet peaceful approach, and they would come in red and purple, and breen and black. (:

Posted by: B | June 13, 2009 12:40 PM
I would start my Queen Bee Bag by selecting an organic cotton exterior, with a hardy nylon interior. My pattern would be three toned horizontal thick wavy stripes. The bottom color would be a medium earth brown; the top would be a drab green color, and the middle horizontal "wave" would be a sand color background with either sporatic olive branches, or miscellaneous single leaf(s). This bag would symbolize something different for all Vegans:)

Perfect gift for my wannabe vegan girlfriend!
Posted by: Bud Russo | June 13, 2009 4:39 PM
I would use a hand crocheted bag and sew lace around the edges of the opening and the strap. The strap would be long for a whole body hug. I would have a button, similar to pants, be the way the bag opens and shuts.
On the sides, a V could be made with a series of veggies. On the other side can be a logo and a phrase like, "Meat is murder."
That would be how I design the bag.
Posted by: Brittany | June 13, 2009 5:19 PM
I would want a bag with various farm animal (animals usually treated horribly and used in slaughter based agriculture) prints. The giraffe, leopard, and zebra print bags are a hit! But no one ever sees cow, pig, and chicken print bags because those animals are deemed unimportant and not rare animals. They should have their prints on a bag too(Faux of course) I believe that they would be a hit for vegetarians all over! Of course, on the bag, there would also be the lable "Vegetarian". I believe it would be super cute!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 13, 2009 5:52 PM
I think a blue-cloudy design with pink pigs that have wings would be a great pattern. It would be cute and ironic. I love pigs!

Posted by: Dorothy | June 13, 2009 9:11 PM
I would use slightly bigger silver hardware and try to make it slightly slouchier in the middle. As far as color, i would use white fabric with almost green neon palm trees screen printed on it using non toxic and environmentally friendly paint maybe something water based.

I like the gulll print
Posted by: scarlette | June 14, 2009 9:28 AM
I would use a scenic background of waves crashing into a cliff.
Posted by: sweetscove | June 14, 2009 9:33 AM
I like the first bag, the diamond pattern is awesome.
I would like a bag with little pink hearts on it. Young girls would love that.
Posted by: Anne D | June 14, 2009 9:40 AM
Very stylish!
Posted by: Teresa | June 14, 2009 11:33 AM
I would choose a medium brown duponi silk fabric outlined in black beading so I could carry it day and night.
Posted by: Shirley Hodge | June 14, 2009 12:33 PM
i would put some green frogs and those little leap with pink flower that what i would put if i could desgin a handbag

Posted by: Anonymous | June 14, 2009 1:15 PM
I want the pink chain and black one because it makes me think of all the poor animals chained and I want to fight back. I am currently trying to become a vegitarian and eventually a vegan but its hard because my whole family loves meat. This would really show my parents that I was committed and they woiuld support me then.

I would love a bag with the " im not a nugget" symbol. its sooo cute!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 14, 2009 2:10 PM
White fabric, with arctic background and a seal face "painted" like oil painting in the front. It would be super cute, and fitting too as it is the time of the seal slaughter.
Posted by: Koni | June 14, 2009 2:11 PM
I would use black canvas material and print peta slogans all over it in different bright colours like "meat's no treat for those you eat" etc!
Emi xx
Posted by: Emily | June 14, 2009 4:52 PM
bright yellow on the outside, with a big bright green and purple version of the "cut class not frogs" design. the inside would be a nice bright orange color because i love bright colors.
the best one out of those three is deff the middle one tho
Posted by: Anonymous | June 14, 2009 5:23 PM
The black and pink one! Way to cute! I love it :)
Posted by: amanda | June 14, 2009 8:09 PM
something that stands out, but not too much. probably kind of colorful, with some kind of animal print, zebra or leopard, with little pictures, sort of like a collage.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 14, 2009 8:26 PM
I like the style and details of the bag. I think it is trendy and would be popular with college students. If I had an opportunity to design a pattern I personally would like to see a small to medium checked, plaid design with floral, berry or "BEE"(Queen Bee) accents. Possibly something like pink/white checked-plaid with red or lime green accents. Or, navy/white checked-plaid with red or yellow accents. Or black/white checked-plaid with pink or red accents. I think incorporating a bee somewhere into the design would be a nice trademark for the purses.
Posted by: Taylor Hill | June 14, 2009 10:57 PM
I would like one black with multicolored stars!
Posted by: Jennifer G | June 14, 2009 11:43 PM
Honestly I really love polka dots. So I would use a black and white polka dot pattern for the bag. I love that its totally vegan but still gorgeous. It just shows that fashion doesn't have to be cruel.
Posted by: Lindsay | June 15, 2009 1:39 AM
I like pink and brown together. So I would put together a pattern of pink and brown with maybe some vintage elements thrown in. I love those patterns with vintage styling.
Posted by: Jan | June 15, 2009 3:17 AM
i would make a black purse with hot pink stripes and random baby blue polka dots all over and cheetah print on the inside and it would be reversible with adjustable straps.
Posted by: tara | June 15, 2009 3:44 AM
I would have black material on the exterior of the bag, and have random buttons, saftey pins and woven ribbon (like stitches) in various colours (preferably hot pink, orange, red and yellow). When the bag folds down i would have random words stitched onto the now-exterior material. for example- love, stop animal cruelty, peta2 etc. Or saftey tags etc stitched on. for eg- police line do not cross and/or hazardous area. But not too many pins, buttons, stitches or words as simplicity is key to attractive bags.
Posted by: Jessica | June 15, 2009 5:17 AM
I'd use a pure white bag with a purple ribbon design like the white/grey bag with the red ribbons and the birds. There wouldn't be any birds on it though and instead of the red ribbons, there would be purple ribbons.
I chose this design because it shows that there is a bright side to every life. The white is something that can easily be stained (like with animals' jobs of being the subject of cruelty) and the purple shows that there is something bright (like the millions of people that care for that animals' welfare).
Emily (EmVeg)
Posted by: Anonymous | June 15, 2009 12:14 PM
I would put pictures animals, vegan foods, and the words Peta on the bag.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 15, 2009 12:20 PM
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to describing a pattern I would want for a hand bag or a purse. I think I'd like bright, cool colored swirly or paisley designs, or maybe some thing tie-dyed? Or maybe a simple black and white floral pattern. I don't know, just something pretty. I'd go with just about anything indie. Or a Pokemon pattern. That would rock.
Posted by: Eryn | June 15, 2009 12:42 PM
For a bag, Id make it have a redish- pinkish background( like a strawberry) and attach plastic sequenses or buttons to it. That would be cute.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 15, 2009 1:49 PM
In honor of Pigeon Day (6/13) I would have a repeating pigeon print, cream on chocolate.
I live in Chicago, and a bag this versatile is a must in the city! Plus, I think all my feathered friends at my El train stop would appreciate a shout out from the pattern on my bag.
Cute, functional and PETA-minded - who could ask for anything more?
Posted by: Alyson Paige Warren | June 15, 2009 2:23 PM
i would put a heart-shaped collage of endangered animals on the front and just leave it black on the back.
Posted by: nina obob | June 15, 2009 3:04 PM
If I could design one of those bags I would make a few different ones. One with little piggies all over it. Another with little giraffes. One with brass knuckles but the parts that your fingers go in would be in the shape of hearts not circles. Another in black with a bunch of neon colors all over it probably in the form of splatter paint or skulls and cross bones. And of course I'd make a limited edition peta2 "Free For All" bag featuring the logo all over it in neon colors then one really big logo in it's real color.
Posted by: Lizzy | June 15, 2009 3:29 PM
I would use a blue fabric with little animals all over it and say 'save a life go veg' ang the srap will have stars all over it with sparkels and attached to the bag would be a key chain with a mini stufed animal, I think that would be cool because its crazy and who dosent like crazy stuff.
Posted by: brittany | June 15, 2009 3:35 PM
Plain black bag with a pink lining on the inside!
Posted by: Brittany | June 15, 2009 4:08 PM
If I could design a Queen Bee bag, my design would go with my personality.
I would start with a plain black background, putting a hot pink criss-cross design on the sides. On the front of the bag i would have it say, in a deep purple color, "Sometime around Midnight..." Then, have hot pink, neon green and purple hearts floating up the bag. Beside the wording, have a picture of an empty park bench and a stary night...
Posted by: Autumn | June 15, 2009 4:11 PM
Okay :) I would make it black and have someone, like a silhouette of a girl painting a rainbow, and a land scape :) gahh :) That would make me a happy camper! :)
Posted by: Anonymous | June 15, 2009 4:26 PM
I would make it tie dye with little butterflies on it
Posted by: chrissy | June 15, 2009 4:40 PM
I would have a really sick looking designed word of 'PETA' across the bag diagonally. And the back ground would be a big zoo! Not a zoo that keeps all the animals in a cage, but a zoo where there are no boundaries between us and the animals. And the people and animals would be drawn in more of a cute style.
The straps of the bag would be in a bright neon colour, to make it unique and stand out.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 15, 2009 4:51 PM
I'd probably make mine black, and then in white have a whole bunch of quotes, inside jokes with my friends, band names, lyrics, and, of course, peta quotes on it. And lots of little doodles :)
That way every time I look at it, I can remember good old times and what is most important to me.
Posted by: Jennifer | June 15, 2009 5:54 PM
I would use crane design.
very cute designs though!
Posted by: Kaylee | June 15, 2009 6:47 PM

One Large Single Tear Drop - in honor and memory of all the lives lost to this unnecessary killing.
Posted by: Brian N. | June 15, 2009 7:50 PM
Posted by: Hattie | June 15, 2009 8:49 PM
My Queen Bee bag design would be black for the backround color with on one side of the bag in yellow print saying " I am not a nugget" with a little yellow chick and on the other side of the bag in lime green i would want it to say "cut class not frogs" with a little picture of a froggy. Then my final decotation would be a keychain that says "love me" with a piggy face below it then " dont eat me" below that.
Posted by: Brianna Rainey | June 15, 2009 9:44 PM
I would use a red cartoon mushroom pattern with the white spots because they're so cute!
Posted by: Patricia | June 15, 2009 9:44 PM
Posted by: Jessica | June 15, 2009 11:20 PM
Those would look cute in pink/chocolate combo though those are really cute too.
Posted by: Delaney | June 16, 2009 1:29 AM
If I were to design one of these awesome bags, i would probably use a super Mario pattern, or maybe even a cupcake pattern fabric.
I would also love to see one of these bags with a vintage Chinese pattern, or perhaps a 50's children pattern.
I think what would be most fantastic, would be if there was a way to use a pattern, so that a clipper ship could be on one side of it, and perhaps sparrows on the other.
So many great things that can be done with these already BRILLIANT bags!!
Love,
Mollie

If i where to make a bag,
i would make the pattern black victorian and splatter paint a bunch of neon colors, like, neon blue, lime green, hot pink and maybe some yellow :)
Posted by: Anonymous | June 16, 2009 9:52 AM
i think polka dots ! :)
in all kinds of different colors.
Posted by: Kristen Milley | June 16, 2009 11:43 AM
I would make the purse purple in the background and mini white rabbits all around the whole purse. Then a couple of them would be white with glitter to make it stand out.
Posted by: Homi and Hoodi | June 16, 2009 12:00 PM
I'd like an Asian-inspired pattern--maybe a dragon brocade look.

Thanks!

This is my thought of the perfect animal rights vegan Queen Bee bag.
xoxo,
Samie

I would make one in purble and black zebra print.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 16, 2009 4:11 PM
I would do a Paisley design in a combination of cool and hot colors that are complimentary to each other. I like an adjustable stap so it can be off the shoulder or on the arm. And the inside would be contrasting and the purse would possibly be reversable.....
Posted by: Elizabeth Brock | June 16, 2009 4:13 PM
I think sunflowers would be pretty.
Posted by: Carla | June 16, 2009 4:31 PM
I would do lots of bright colors like they use in the arts of India and then have an Om symbol at the center. "Om symbolizes everything - the means and the goal of life, the world and the Truth behind it, the material and the Sacred, all form and the Formless." I feel that the vegan, cruelty-free bag and the concept of Om, of everything being one with one another, really goes well together. It speaks peace to everyone, including our animal friends.
Posted by: Kristen | June 16, 2009 4:33 PM
i would make the bag wider and make it into a tote bag, and also making the strap longer. the print that i would put on it would be cheetah, zebra, or giraffe print with a heart on one side where the animals heart would be, showing love to and from animals.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 16, 2009 5:18 PM
Bees for sure!
Posted by: Ann | June 16, 2009 5:52 PM
I would have a basic black bag, and I would defenitly have incredibly bring colors (like neon) swirled all over!!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 16, 2009 6:47 PM
I would design it with a jungle design...dark greens and splashes of bright color like flowers, with maybe some jungle animals thrown in there like lemurs and other little fuzzies. :)
Posted by: Maggie | June 16, 2009 7:17 PM
The bag itself would be white. All across the bag will be bright little soy beans dancing. They will have little legs, arms and smiling faces.

I'm going through a nautical phase right now and would absolutely freak for something made out of a life preserver or made of rip-stop, you know.. like what sails are made of. Awesome!
Posted by: Leslie Jaimes | June 16, 2009 10:34 PM
I would use the colours of the rainbow to signify new hope and inspiration for a better world.
Posted by: Linda Chaput | June 16, 2009 10:35 PM
For my Queen Bee bag I would like to see a specialty version made. I would make a recycled material bag using hemp, car tires, silk, plastic bottles, and other natural and recycled materials. I would like to see the bag in a paisley print or a natural 'down to earth' type design using earthy tones. The inside of the bag would have a zippered pocket and some other pockets for carrying miscellaneous items like your cell phone so they are easy to find quickly.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 16, 2009 11:35 PM
I would have a nature scene. Perhaps a seashore with vibrant blues and greens, or a sunset with muted pinks and greens. Everyone relates to nature, and isn't that what we are trying to protect?
Posted by: Benita G. | June 17, 2009 12:07 AM
i'd like to make a microwave-designed purse.
i don't know how to make it.
but nothing seems impossible since Yyuri gagarin first stepped his very human's feet on moon.

I would pick a fabric with some nice wise looking owls on it - oranges, beige, & browns. Thanks! thebubbledies(at)gmail(dot)com
Posted by: simone | June 17, 2009 2:06 AM
Since I love all things fiber related, I would use some black soy yarn and knit fabric to cover the outside of the bag and in the center in hot pink would be 'P2' for Peta2
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 2:21 AM
The one thing I would add would be an exterior cell phone pocket on the strap of the bag. That way when wearing the bag across the chest the cell phone is just at mid-chest height -- perfect for answering on the go without having to either pick up the bag or rummage around inside it.
I'd love to see a bubble patterned bag. Not just circles and not polka-dots mind you, but bubbles. Having the bubbles spilling out from a wand like this being blown by a child (http://www.wizardmetals.com/gallery_planet.htm) and then up and around the bag would be incredible!
Posted by: Kaki | June 17, 2009 10:11 AM
I'd do a bit of a "collage" purse. One bit of fabric would have blue hearts on a brown background, another would have green peace signs ona blue background, brown polka dots on a green background, a blue, brown, and green striped piece, and so on.
I'd like my purse to be earthy, but still chic and exspressive of what we should all be doing to play our part in helping the animals and our earth.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 10:37 AM
I would definately incorporate a giraffe style print with yellow and turquoise on the outside with a turquoise adjustable strap. And have a sort of cinch in the middle to give it more of a curvy appeal, with the same type of faux leather material as the strap.
By the way I absolutely adore the chain link fence design. =]
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 12:29 PM
I think the blue patterned bag is the nicest, but if I were to design my own.....I'd get my sister to do it ahaha (shes a designer) but yeah i think I'd stick with that blue pattern but change it so that the blue parts were sparrows.
Posted by: Jennifer Baird | June 17, 2009 12:31 PM
I would definitely love any of those bags, but the pink and black one on the left is my favorite!
Posted by: Danielle | June 17, 2009 12:43 PM
i would have colorful splots on mine, to represent splatters of my imagination that went into the bag, instead of splots of blood from the innocent cow who died for that bag!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 1:08 PM
I would love a large leaf pattern in sage green on a slate gray bag. It would always remind me of Portland's rainy skies and beautiful tree lines.
Posted by: StephanieL | June 17, 2009 1:11 PM
I am all about polka dots always. so I will choose colorful polka dots.
Posted by: hminnesota | June 17, 2009 1:37 PM
So, if I was to design one of these bags for myself, I'd probably use either a barbed wire design, black background with lime green barbed wire, or maybe something along the lines of records strewn about randomly. There are so many things that I can think of to make different, unique and fun bags for everyone, from young girls to older women. Then again, if I was making these bags, I might allow people to create their own designs, that way, every individual person would have a bag as unique as they are :)
Posted by: Jana | June 17, 2009 3:05 PM
A paisley design of colors of green, with a peace sign stitched in the center, thanks for letting use our imagination, and the giveaway
Posted by: Brenda | June 17, 2009 3:18 PM
well i have a couple of ideas, i would have a bag of design of how one got to be where they are right now from a kid. another idea would have art materials all over the bag and have like diffrent colors for it and have paint spots on it to give it the artsy feeling. another one is have a seen of the sea with a storm in the middle of it and have a purple sky on it. another idea i have is have a tree branches in forms of faces of each emotion of how a person feels with red and green and brown for the contrast of it
Posted by: jeffrey anderson | June 17, 2009 3:25 PM
I would make it red and green. Have cherry blossoms on it, and have the biohazard symbol on it to remind us that were all one mistake away from making or beautifull world a disaster.
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 3:32 PM
I would have a solid black canvas bag, with neon paint splatters on it. and it would have a flap and on the flap i would put "PETA2, Just do it." or some saying like that (: and i would have a pink neon cow outline next to it (:
Yuppyupp(:

Hey, my name is Kay.
If I were to design a pattern for this bag, I would go all out in funky animal jokes. The bag would be covered with flying pigs (little pink fellows with wings), sleeping sheeps (on clouds) and rubber ducky (think childhood bathtime) cartoons. Hope you like it and have a great day!!!
Posted by: Kay | June 17, 2009 4:35 PM
I have this image of my cat Fernando that is really nifty, sort of Warhol-esque. I would use that, or take a really cool PETA image and do the same photoshop technique on it. I LOVE IT!
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 6:09 PM
If I could design a bag, I would make it sorta like these ones, with the adjustable strap, but I would make it purple and pink (neon) checker style pattern, and I would put a little cartoon animal in ever square. The squares would be medium sized too. =]
Posted by: Anonymous | June 17, 2009 9:04 PM
I'd make it, a yellow background and white polka dots.
Kinda' cute for a walk around the maall or whatever, (:
Posted by: Ashley | June 17, 2009 9:53 PM
if I had a chance to design a QueenBee purse I would make it just a plain color like red or green and i would have silver animal charms coming down the side and on the strap i would have the letters QueenBee stitched in white and i would make a portion of the money that the consumers pay for the purse go towards a charity that helps animals like peta, aspca,or habitat for humanity.
Posted by: Kylee | June 17, 2009 10:20 PM

i would design a all black bag with little veggies on it and also little animals like pigs, cows, sheep etc with a ban sign over them.it would be really cute but also has a message against eating meat.

I would create a grey and black checked bag,
I have a shirt like that, and I think it would be really cute!
Posted by: Melanie | June 18, 2009 10:27 AM
the pattern i would use for the QueenBee bag would make the bag look thoroughly french.lol for the outside you embroider a chandelier with any zippers being studded beads that match the fabric of the chandelier's embroidery. the in lay of the bag is stitched with millions of fleur de lis'.
outside fabric-emerald green
inside fabric-silver
chandelier- silver
fleur de lis- emerald green
strap- braided(emerald green, silver, and studded/beaded fabric.)
really hope i win. please and thank you!

i'd make one with lots of different colored dragonflies on it!
Posted by: Sarah | June 18, 2009 3:08 PM
A Queen Bee Bag would have to use the finest of gold silk thread stiching with a gold and brown honey comb patterned material. A few turquoise silouette bumble bees would prove to be a nice accent. Please let me win a bag! Love y'all. Dawn ~moonisis~
Posted by: Dawn Tamayo | June 18, 2009 6:47 PM
Thanks for the chance to enter.

it would be an abstract pattern, with hues of blue and wave patterns to symbolize the ocean. somewhere in the middle and far right would be the image of a dolphin flying out of the waves, creating a splash, and behind it, would be a shining light to stand for the sun which is setting behind the dolphin.

Posted by: Anonymous | June 19, 2009 1:34 PM
I enjoy your bags but I refuse to go on weird tangents relating it to obscene facets of my life. No smileys. No exclamations. Just one person talking to another. p.s. sorry for my un kiss-up ways. p.s.s. this bag would look great on canvas

Defiantly keeping true to a surfer style look!

i would do a classic zebra print with a pink heart either direct center or left bottom corner with an animal rights logo in the heart. you could do some black lace around the border of the heart or make the lettering of the logo zebra print instead of black...there are numerous possiblities. I'd also make a slightly bigger bag. The bigger the bag, the bolder the statement. Animal Rights deserves a bold statement!

The fact that they weren't made using animals is even better.

hello :)
i really like the back and blue pattern.
if i was to create a bag, i would decorate it with the back ground as blacj..and the rest covered with mutiple colored paw, claw, ect. prints from various animals. i think it would be a good representation of all being in the animal kingdom and show that every species or creature are equal and should be included.

:)
