I'm loving the poster!! I have to say my favorite song is still "Hymn for the Dead" from the For Blood or Empire album. I've never seen them in concert yet, but I'm seeing them at Warped Tour this year and I am so excited about that!
My favorite Anti-Flag song is The Bright Lights of America, favorite Anti-Flag show memory is at Warped Tour 06, because they played with so much energy. I'm looking forward to seeing Anti-Flag, Nofx, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, A Day To Remember, Bayside, Escape The Fate and Chiodos.
shiiiiiit, I love anti-flag! my best memory: in january i was off school for a week, so i took the amtrak from north carolina to see them play the Demand in DC show (my 4th a-f show). I met so many awesome people, including a girl I stayed with for a few days til I went home (shout-out to you, carrie!). The best part? My mom thought i was at a friend's sleepover.
i've seen anti-flag several times in the past five years. i'd have to say my favorite experience was a few years ago when they played a show on my 17th birthday. i baked vegan cookies for the band and gave them to #2 and pat, they were both super stoked. pat and i discussed veganism and we tried to figure out what the meaning of good friday is (since it was the day before, and neither of us really had a clue). amazing dudes, cant wait til warped
Anti-Flag is awesome. I have seen them about 4 times and each time has been great and unique. The first time I saw them was around 2004 at Trees in Dallas and they were playing with Against Me! They had a huge banner with a grenade on it. That first show will always stand out in my mind as the best because it was my first impression of them live and was so much fun.
They're just so awesome! I think my favorite song would have to be "Hymn of the Dead". My favorite memory is just their energy while thet're rocking out and their ability to get everyone pumped up. I'm looking forward to seeing them rocking out again!
I can't pick a favorite Anti-Flag song...they are all amazing :) My favorite memory though was when I saw them at Bamboozle Left with my brother. We were screaming and jumping along...it was an amazing day and set.
Anti Flag = Legends
One of my fav bands XD
I was so excited to hear the new album, seen them loads live and defiantly an amazing live show
Fav song off new album has gotta beeee 'this is the first night'
Plus 'No warning' off bright lights of America is always on repeat =]
My favorite song would probably be "Die for Your Governement" cause that's the first AF song I ever heard when I was just 15 year old kid, back in 1981. I'm still into punk so I guess that AF had a good impact on me:)
Rock on, guys!
I saw and got to meet them at the warped tour 2 years ago.I loved them already, but they are seriously some of the coolest guys alive. They will sit out and meet all they're fans at every show and it just shows how devoted and how much they care about they're fans!I can't wait to see them live again, which will hopefully be this year.
I heart Anti-flag!
i love love love anti-flag there aren't enough words in the english language to even begin to describe what and how i feel when i listen to their music....
my favorite songs: 911 for peace, hymn for the dead and emigre.
i really want to go to arizona's tour but i cant D:
i'm mexican and i had been planning to go to warped tour since 08 but my parents dont want me to go to that tour...D: they want me to go to an astronomy camp....
i wish i had some money to see you guys at another city at the warped tour... D:
I've been a die hard Anti-Flag fan for around 11 years. My greatest memory would have to be meeting them. They are some of the coolest guys alive. They will come out show after show and meet all they're fans, talk about devotion. They've stayed strong to everything they believe in and the message they relay through they're music.I'm going to have to go back to the old school and say my favorite song has always, and will always be "not gonna change".Can't wait to see them again live!
I've seen Anti-Flag twice, they were amazing and had so much energy. The first time i saw them i decided to be a vegetarian after the show, three years and i love it. I can't wait until they come back around. My favorite songs are probably turncoat, i'd tell you but.. or anatomy of your enemy. they're inspirational.
I saw Anti-Flag at the Old Blue Last in London and it was brilliant gig. The energy was electric and Anti-Flag were great. I can't wait to see them in October.
My favourite song would have to be either Die For The Government or Good and Ready
I have been a anti-flag fan for 7 years now and my favorite anti-flag memory is getting to do the question of the day during the war sucks lets party tour and i have to say my favorite song is right to choose but i have never seen them play it live so hopefully they will play it at warped
Anti-Flag are one of my favourite bands. One of the highlights of my life was meeting Justin Sane and getting a hug from him. It should be noted that i'm a guy, but I am in no way homophobic. Nothing beats hugging one of your favourite punk rockers.
Also, if it weren't for punk bands such as Anti-Flag and Propagandhi, I would have never seriously considered vegetarianism.
So, Anti-Flag are definitely a really important band in my life.
ah... well it was 1997 and anti-flag was playing at club laga. the end of the show... playing "kill the rich" and many of us got on stage and sang along with the band and danced and had the greatest time. justin commented after the song was over how awesome the energy was we all had just created and it was something i'll never forget. singing into chris head's mic... blurry vision as i had taken off my glasses to not break them... looking back at pat kickin' the beats... stickin out my tongue like he does then singing some more. there was like 20+ people on that small stage but it was a controlled chaos. no bad seeds... just a great vibe.
geez, i've listened to anti-flag forever and i saw them for the first time at the palladium about a year ago. my greatest memory was easily moshing to 911 for peace and watching my hippie friend who isn't even into punk music crowd surf during it. mass has the best circle pits haha
I have to say there is no possible way to even pick a favorite song by anti-flag...I declare it impossible. All of their songs have an awesome meaning and it's always clear. I can not wait to see them at warped I think that's who I'm looking forward to seeing the most! ^ ^ Well, them and NoFX...lol XD
I saw Anti-Flag a couple of days ago in a small venue, and oh god, there were memories, moshing, circle pits, crowdsurfing, stage diving, shaking the guy's hands, that small show, topped my summer, and probably right now my life. We chilled and watched the hockey game with them. DROP PUCKS NOT BOMBS!
The Press Corpse is my favourite Anti-Flag song. I've never been to an Anti-Flag show, I had tickets ready but then they cancelled their Australian tour :( I'm not going to America anymore so no Warped for me, but I can't wait for them to come to Melbourne, Australia :)
P.S. Chris #2 is the hottest bass player around ;)
I was at their free show for the taping of the "This Is The End (For You My Friend)" music video. And not only was it a great show, my hand made an appearance!
I saw AF in February, with Flobots and Rise Against. Rise Against were headlining, and while they are amazing, Anti-Flag totally made that concert. They've got so much stage presence, and Chris really gets the audience involved. Great music, great guys.
These guys are great-and even better live! I had the luck to watch them live in Barcelona, Spain, and I still remember that night as one of the best gigs I've ever attended.
I remember the first time I saw Anti-Flag live. Warped Tour 2006. It was also my first mosh pit (and the best since). The band threw an American flag over the pit, it was spread out over the crowd. And then torn to shreds. I still have my scrap of the flag. =D
Oh, Anti-Flag. One of my favorite bands ever, I've only been listening to them for almost 4 years, but I still love them. My parents don't really approve of their 'Anti-Flag' name but I don't really care.
I'm writing like a whole book, but I don't think people get how much I look up to this band, and what they mean to me.
I'm currently a very strict vegetarian, but only till I move out (in like 3 years) I will be a Vegan.
I have yet to see them in concert since most good bands only come to Michigan for Detroit. But my favorite song is probably 'Fuck Police Brutality' or 'Turncoat'. (9 year mark of my uncle Johnny's death. June 8, 1970- June 11, 2000)
The first time I saw them was the absolute best show I have ever been to. Everyone was just dancing and having a good time. Kids kept climbing up on stage and doing stage dives. A few times the security guards tried to stop us and pull kids off stage but the guys literally held the security back while playing just so we could have a good time. I remember seeing this and thinking, Anti-Flag is just everything a band is supposed to be. Amazing music, amazing shows, AND they have their morals in the right place.
I remember the first Anti-Flag song I ever heard was 911 For Peace. I got goosebumps throughout the whole song. I haven't had the pleasure of going to a show yet but will hopefully get to go in August!
I first stumbled upon an Anti-Flag album at Music Matters, a local record store. When I brought it home and popped it in I was hit with clips of Dr. King's carismatic voice overlayed on top of pounding guitars, crys against war, calls for the release of Mumia Abu-Jamal and so much more. It was touching to find a good political punk band that hadn't been watered down over the years.

I have yet to see Anti-Flag outside of Warped Tour unfortunately, but I've been a fan of their music for a long time now. About six years ago I didn't listen to any punk music. My buddy did though, and he had Mobilize. I listened to it one day, went to find a tape in my room, came back and recorded 3 songs onto it(that's all the room it had), and listened to it religiously almost every day.
I can't wait to see them in a smaller venue.
my favourite show memory was when i saw them live in Czech a year after i became vegetarian. they played with Billy talent and i didnt know them nor their music and i was so pretty suprised! they were amazing!! so much energetic... i was in second raw and i was kicked by chris to face when he jumped into crowd but i was so happy and enthusiastic about their music that i didnt notice it at all. and when i found out something more about them i really couldnt be happier.
Whoever said that NOFX pissed them off for singing against vegetarian is taking themselves way too seriously. Fat Mike from NOFX is a vegetarian and nothing they ever sing about should be taken seriously, you gotta be able to laugh at yourself.
Anyway... Anti-Flag, gotta love "I'm Being Watched by the CIA"
The best thing about Anti-Flag is that they practice what they preach. I have personally learned a lot from listening to them and following the actions they take. It's been a couple years since I've seen them live, it's been too long!
My fav memory of an AF show was in leeds on the rise tour when crowd surfing and justin grab my hand a pulled me on stage and let me sing along to turncoat witch is also my fav song
Anti-flag has impacted my life so much. in fact, they're the reason i went vegetarian december 17th, 2007. I was at a show with my best friend at our local retired firehouse-turned-venue and anti-flag was playing just before the code was going on. Me and britney [my best friend] were chillin back by the merch tables when we saw a television that was playing meet your meat. we watched it for a while and took some leaflets and stickers and, together, we decided to take the veg pledge. it was the best decision i ever made and if i never went to that show [which was amazing, by the way. wall of death, ftw!!!], i probably would never be where i am today.
I get to see Anti Flag at the end of August (: My little brother was actually the one who got me into them, haha! I'm really in love with the Terror State album, and You Can Kill The Protestor, But You Can't Kill The Protest.
Well, it's impossible to choose just one favorite Anti-Flag song, so some of my favorites are This Is the End (For You My Friend), Turncoat, Fuck Police Brutality, I'm Being Watched by the CIA, Red White and Brainwashed, You've Got to Die for the Government, and Drink Drank Punk. Okay, wow, I put a bunch of songs, but, like I said, I just can't choose one. There are a bunch of others I could put too, but I think what I have should do.
I've heard previews of pretty much all the songs from the new album. It sounds really cool. I can't wait to get it.
Also, I may get to go to Warped Tour in Florida this year. I'm really excited. I've always wanted to go to Warped Tour, but it never comes near where I live, good thing I'm going on vaction to Florida with my best friend....
omg i love anti-flag, my bro let me listin to "Die For Your Govt" and i loved it but i must say my fav song is hymm for the dead :) not that i dont love all there songs tho
I have too many favourite songs from Anti-Flag. My playlist dedicated to them is 120 songs long.
I am going to 8 Warped Tour dates just to see them, and will be walking around like a zombie the rest of it.
This band deserve all the good things this world can bestow upon them. They are amazing people and actually turn around and retuirn the good they have received in life back to the world.
They are excellent role models and are true to their words and values and I respect that.
i unfortunately have only seen Anti-Flag once but they were touring with Rise Against so you can imagine how AMAZING the show was!!!! Also PETA was there giving out dvds and other material and it was there that i decided to start my own PETA Society at my university with the help of a PETA represetative.
Anti-Flag aren't just a punk band, but they are active environmental activists. I think they have some important things to say. I really enjoy reading their essays for their songs. I've actually referenced some of their essays in my own reports for school. It would be really awesome to meet Anti-Flag someday, they have influenced me a ton.
Some of my favorite songs by them are: Bring Out Your Dead, Turncoat, Welcome to 1984, and everything on For Blood and Empire.
my fave song of anti-flag changes each day so I'll just tell you my favorite album, which is "FOR BLOOD AND EMPIRE" and the first song of theirs i heard was "Press Corps" i seen these guys at give it a name and i wanted to know more about what they stood for, but I'm a lazy shit so i left it, but then i went to a rise against Gig where Anti-Flag was a guessed act and they were the reason i went to the show and after getting a shit spot where you couldn't see much apart from a giant amplifier i got to say hi to Pat and Justin that was awesome, (i also love rise against) :D but this show changed my live because now I'm a veggie because i got to meet some Peta2 activist who gave me an insight on what goes on in the meat industry and how other animals are mistreated, i also gave my college tutor the peta2 DVD and she made the whole art department have a debut but it was a short debut causes everyone agreed with you guy's which was cool because it shows people do have hearts and brains :D i have nearly every anti flag album apart from 1 and hopefully i will be seeing them in October, i love the free stencil you get with most there CD's they are really handy. i would also like to say Thank you for standing your grounds and thank you for the insights LOve you guy's/Girl's keep it real xo
I grew up in a very, very strict Christian home. When I was younger, I was only allowed to listen to Christian music. I wasn't even allowed to listen to the radio! So, I got my hands on all the Christian punk music I could. Finally, when I got a little older, I discovered Napster and then a little later Ebay, and downloaded mainstream punk rock. It was at this point I fell in love with Anti-flag. I bought all of their CDs, I sewed their patches all over my backpack, I loveeedd them! When I was 15 I bought tickets to see them at The Metro in Chicago, and it was one of the best shows of my life! It opened me to a whole new world! I was small and pushed my way to the front and sang all of their songs at the top of my lungs! They are still one of my favorite bands. Now I am a poor college student, and I couldn't remember the last time I had the money to spend on a CD. I am a vegetarian, AND an Anti-Flag fan. I would love the opportunity to be entered into a drawing to win their new CD!!!
I saw Anti-Flag with Billy Talent for the first time like 2 years ago in Edmonton, and i had not heard much from them. Now i own three CD's and they are absolutely amazing. Love you guys!
I've been to three Anti-Flag concerts, but the last one was the best for several reasons:
1. They were headlining
2. MOSH PIT TICKETS!
3. My friend and I met Justin Sane! Amazing!
4. They were doing a clothing drive so we brought clothes.
So yeah, I love this band and I'll be buying the record regardless of if I win, but this is a cool contest :)
I love your song "Police Story" which tells us about Johhny Gammage and about people who suffer from police brutality.
I loved your last performace in The Acadamy in Dublin, Irelad last year. I got my picture taken with Justin and Chris Head shook my hand and said "Here you go, take care!" and in my hand was a red "Intune GripX" pleck with the Gunstar on it!
I'd give ANYTHING to re-live that moment in my life again!
I'm definitely feeling the new Anti-Flag ad, it's an awesome ad to spread the word. They really are wonderful role models, because they do a lot for the community. I love them and I hope I get to see them soon!
Totally looking forward to the new cd. I think my favorite song would have to be Turncoat, I never get tired of that one. And my favorite memory would definately have to be my first A-F show. I had the most amazing time, and I got to meet the guys too. It was great!
1. Taking some amazing photos of the band while doing press on Warped in '04.
2. Bad Religion/Anti-Flag, House Of Blues, Atlantic City: I decide to play some roulette before heading into the venue. As I run out of money, #2 goes to sit down on my table. I give him a pat on the back and wish him luck. Had I had more money to play, I would have stuck around. Still awesome though...
I love the poster above^^ it's art^^ my fav song i honestly don't know the name of iit but it has my fav. quote which is "tell your boyfriend if he's got beef tell him i'm a vegitarian and i'm not scared of him" umm i hope the tour is smash even though i can't b a part of it... hope every once who can enjoys!!
So favourite Anti-Flag concert memory eh? Well that'd have to be Warped Tour '06 in Los Angeles. It was my first mosh pit, I lost my left shoe in the pit and all my toes almost got broken from the mayhem. I didn't get hurt at all and the pain went away within a few hours. Although it sounds horrible, the music, the crowd and the experience of it all was so unique that it more than made up for my misfortune. I also got the band to sign the remaining shoe later on at their both and I still have it as a reminder to never ever wear low-top chucks to a punk rock show.
My favourite Anti-flag show memory? Lets see I saw Anti-flag play in Albuquerque, NM in spring of '08. It was awesome, the briggs and street dogs opened. Which are two of my favourite bands to see live. Anti-flag had a banner counting down the days until Bush was out of office. AWESOME. One of my favourite concerts. Anti-flag comes down to Albuquerque more than Governor Bill Richardson.
I'm from Pittsburgh and I used to go to shows when nobody knew who they were. I worked at a restaurant called Double Wide Grill(menu included 100% Vegan and Vegetarian items) And Pat Thetic came in a few times I waited on him once.. I told him he is a F*ckin Wizard on the Drums, lol!!! he is though, just watch him! ANTI FLAG just rocks so hard!
My Favorite songs, thats hard to choose. Red White and Brainwashed is awesome! Post War Breakout hits pretty close to home too. I haven't got the new CD yet. Hopefully I get it from you guys, or I can just sell myself on the street for it... k, i'm totally kidding(or am I)
i really love this band because i love their music and i love the fact that they are peta members. i love what they stand for. i am so excited that they are gonna be bowling for the tj martell foundation in pheonix and i want to see them. i love that they are doing this because my grandpa just passed away this may from cancer so it is awesome that they are helping out to cure cancer.
i love anti flag sooo much! my favorite song is either turncoat or die for the government, but in my opinion there all good. i love anti flag because they make amazing music, they are unique and they are not afraid to say what they think. they speak up about the things in life that are wrong and others are afriad to say. i also love them because they are vegetarians, they try and promote others to become vegetarian not caring that some people are against vegetarianism. i love the fact they are good role models for kids like me, you know when you put posters up on your wall and your mum comes in and shes like look at these horrid men on your wall setting you a bad example and then you can just turn and say "well, in fact they are a really good example, Anti Flag care about how the country is being run and they want to stop violence, they are also want to stop the slaughtering of animals and help the environment aswell, and there not horrid men there beautiful." my favorite time i seen them was when they were with rise against at the ABC, it was a total crazy concert and it was the most ive ever been squashed, but it was also one of the happiest days of my life. i met pat thetic and got a picture with him, i made a friend in the queue and me and my friends were sliding in the beer lol. i just want to say i love anti flag so much and i love what they are saying.
I have to say Anti-Flag is what really got me into punk. I discovered them through "Death of a Nation" which to me speaks volumes. But overall The Press Corpse and This Is The End (For Your My Friend) is my favorite song of theirs because I abosolutely hate how the media, advertisement, et cetera is today. I despise how all of these images out there tell kids how they should be, how they should act, that they're not good enough. I spend nearly every day trying to convince some one that these veiws they've gained about themselves are completely wrong and that the only thing you can really trust about who you are is you're own definition.
I haven't yet gotten a chance to see Anti-Flag at a show, but I definately will this summer at Warped Tour when they come to Phoenix. Finding their music was an amazing thing for me because it was the first time I realized others shared my veiws, and it made me completely fall in love with punk. The fact that they're vegitarians also is amazing.
Every time Anti-Flag comes to the Detroit area, my brothers and I see them together. We've been going since 2000, when I started high school, and haven't missed a show yet. I love the feeling of unity at the shows--being surrounded by the enthusiasm, dedication, and shared convictions of the crowd, and the closeness I feel to my brothers in sharing this tradition with them. I can't wait until my youngest brother joins us for the first time at the next concert! Anyway, my favorite specific memories: the first time I saw a PETA table at a show, and every time Justin speaks from his heart to the crowd. Favorite songs: got the numbers, 911 for peace, one people one struggle, stars and stripes, vieques... Well, really too many to list! I love these guys!
Well I was looking up if they'd play at the San Diego show for the warped tour but they aren't so i'll have to wait to see them some other time in the future. /:
Well I'll keep my hopes up and have to say, my favorite song is "The Press Corpse", or maybe "Rank-N-File".
Haven't been lucky enough to see them live yet. =(
My favourite song has to be "Hymn For The Dead". What I'm looking forward to at Warped Tour is absolutely EVERYTHING!!!
Best concert was Warped Tour '06! Best performance and it was early in the day! I enjoyed it in Atlanta, GA while it was still cooler weather! Thanks for a great experience, Anti-Flag. I met the band and they're really cool guys! Love this band to pieces! Favorite song that they performed that year was Die for your Government! I sang that song so loud I couldn't talk the next day! I can't wait to see all the cool bands on Warped Tour!
Oh best moment, probably getting Justin to sign my ticket after a show: I got so excited that I forgot my ticket with him, and he had to chase after me to give it back.
I know that everyone is saying this, but I have to agree that Anti Flag kicks some ass, straight up. I remember one time when I saw Anti Flag at the Trucaderos in Minneapolis, I think it was on St. Patty's day actually, I was way up in the front, but being little and female, there was all elbows...the crowd was getting rough (as they should). I crowd surfed out of that mob at one of the very last songs, got dropped into the arms of the security guard who happened to be a fried of mine. Small world! I'm also vegan.
My favorite Anti-Flag song is Summer Squatter Go Home. I have not seen them live yet but I own the Death of a Nation DVD and I will be seeing them at warped tour in Toronto this summer... I'm totally stoked!
ANNNNNTI-FLAG!
The first time I ever saw them was a couple of years ago at my first show EVER (I've been to hundreds since), opening for Billy Talent at the ACC. And I LOVED them. All of the angst and passion pumping out of the speakers combined with their stage presence (and maybe a little something in the air) just got me pumped with adrenaline and I have completely loved them ever since.
I love Anti-Flag! One of my best friend's was really sad today, I made him vegan cookies and a cd with a few anti-flag songs on it. He LOVES them now too, so we're going to warped tour together! I'm sooooo excited!!!
I love Anti-flag, and that picture. My favorite song by them is One Trillion Dollars,-which speaks a lot as to what is a happening these days. I never had the chance to see Anti-Flag live, when they were playing at the warped tour I was at a few years ago I was a hour late to see there show. =( I hope I get to see them at warped tour this summer if I can get the money to go.
I love Anti-Flag.... there isn't one song by them I don't like or disagree with.... let's see my favorite songs are One Trillion Dollars (because it is so true) Die For Your Government (because it's like really good) and This Is The End (I love the lyrics and video) I really REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see them live.... they are my favorite band... they are just AWESOME. I'm going to start saving for tickets to see them. Anyway yeah.... I really want The People Or The Gun to add to my collection... I'll be keeping my fingers cross to win :)
ugh, i must say anti-flag is orgasmic!
i went to there concert for the first time last summer with my boyfriend at the time, && i went in my first moshpit! it was great ^_^
im like 5ft tho so it was kinda scarry...but still awesome! then after the show, we were walking around && they like walked rite by us when they were getting on there tour buss, i like died! there so amazing!!
&& alright, its not fiar to only pick one fave song, then the others will feel left out =)
so some of my fave anti-flag songs are.....Davey Destroyed The Punk Scene, She's My Little GoGo Dancer, Fuck Police Brutality, Captain Anarchy, turncoat, (&&&&& of course) Spaz's House Destruction Party !!
My favorite A-F moment has to be deciding to drive 5 hours across the state of Florida to see them play Ft. Lauderdale on the War Sucks Lets Party tour. I decided to go 4 hours before the show started. I made it just in time to catch their set and got to hang out with Jordan from Set Your Goals for a couple of hours afterwards.
The next day I went to the St. Petersburg show and got there many hours before hand and met all of anti-flag and was asked to do the question of the day with my friends. Both were amazing shows and it was in all a great weekend.
Wow words do not describe how much I love these guys. Been into them for about 4 years now. My favorite songs would have to be Turncoat, One People One Struggle, Spaz's House Destruction Party, pretty much any of their songs
I'm gonna see them at Warped next week, and I'm going to make it a priority to get a hug from Justin Sane
I saw them supporting Rise Against, and it was the first time I'd even heard of them. It was absolutely amazing. I seriously loved it. They were the FIRST band I ever had to mosh to. Oh yeah. It was a-ma-zing!
My favorite Anti-Flag show was at Warped Tour a few years ago and they sang Die for your Government. It was amazing, the crowd went wild and they pissed a lot of people off at that show too because before they started playing they went off about George Bush being president and how much he sucks and after they said that all these older people were pushing their way out of the moshpits and just bitching about them. Was the best show at Warped tour that year!! I love their concerts!
I LOVE ANTI-FLAG.My favorite is turn-coat.All my friends always jam out to it in the car.I think Indie Sux, Hard-Line Sux, emo Sux, you Suck, is hilarious. If i had the money I would have already bought there new album.
Well I'm not going to Warped Tour because I live in the UK :( ...but one day I'll be there!
I saw Anti-Flag at Give It A Name in London last year and they were one of the most amazing live bands I've ever seen. The moshpit was the best I'd seen that weekend and I got right in the middle. It's my best show memory ever, not just my best of Anti-Flag. It was the first time I truly let go and was part of something bigger.
I've been a fan for years of the music, the lyrics and the message and they opened my mind to thoughts of politics and taking notice at 11 years old. Anti-Flag were the band to teach me that I don't have to accept things, that I have a voice so I should use it and I'm grateful to them for that.
I can't pick a favourite song, I'm bad with favourites. I'm amazingly indecisive, Always have been, always will be!
I absolutely love celebrity activists!
Not only do they support Peta/Vegetarianism/Environmentalism, they are AMAZING preformers, they bring so much energy to the stage and their music ROCKS!!!
Im totally agreeing with this campaign and love anti-flag, my favorite song has to be out of all of them The Economy is suffering let it Die its so true and its genius music!!
I've seen Anti-flag 13 times and still have many more to come including 4 more times this year!!
I think my favourite show was their free show a while back, it was absolutely incredable as they really connected with the audience, more so than usual and played some new tracks from the people or the gun for the first time.
My favourite a-f song is 'bring out your dead' as #2's voice on that track in particular is amazing!!!!!
Talking to them after shows is always such a pleasure as they are so friendly and chatty, not to mention adorable and i wear their guitar pics round my neck every day
Anti-flag is the reason i became vegetarian and eventually vegan and have influenced my life in so many other ways it's unbelievable
peace, love unity!
i have gone to every anti-flag show in my home town of winnipeg mb canada for as logn as i have been going to shows, they are by far my favourite modern punk band and i love them to death because they are so active in causes and are so completely knowledgable because of them i have learned various thigns about politics and they are one of the main reasons i became vegetarian because i heard they were vegan and what not it inspired me and who wouldnt want to take a step in being more like anti-flag theyre just that amazing i own as many cds of theirs as i have been able to get my hands on i will obviously purchase the people or the gun if i dont win this but it would help me out so much ahah any penny i can sacve helps cause im a broke teenager working at a shitty restaraunt! i wasgoing to pre order the cd that came with the shirt but i dont have a credit card but i am going to have this cd whether it is pre ordered, free from peta
ANTI-FLAG OWNS!!!!:D :D
, "Die For Your Govt" was the first Anti-Flag song I heard too...Then I Listen to another one "Hymn For The Dead". I rly like this band. So if i go to warped tour, i cant wait to see them XD
Oh man, Anti-Flag, my best show memory would have to be when they came to Mr. Smalls on November 9th, of last year, to help the Pittsburgh Food Bank. I loved that concert, I had such an awesome time.
My favorite song by Anti-Flag would have to be One Trillion Dollars or The Press Corpse.
I am hoping that I will be able to make it to Warped Tour to see Anti-Flag play. I am really hyped!
My favorite Anti-Flag song is either One Trillion Dollars or She's My Little Go-Go Dancer. Sadly, I don't have any memories involving them, but I am looking forward to seeing them at Warped.
id say my favorite song is this is the end (for you my friend) it really gets our attention, letting us know: wow, our world has actually come to this ? i just love the message it sends out, the song lets us know its serious. anti-flag if definetly a very important band, and i effing LOVE their music :)
Omg My friends and i listen to anti-flag in his car all the time!!!! I love there music and it would be way to hard to pick out a fav song. It would be totally awesome if i won the new CD!!!!!
I'm buying a ticket for warped in Charlotte, NC mainly because of Anti-Flag! They are my favorite band even though my parents don't approve haha... My favorite song by Anti-Flag is either stars and stripes or punk by the book. Stars and Stripes was the very first bass tab I ever learned and since I first heard that song, I have been in love with Anti-Flag. I have never seen them live, mainly because of my parents, but I'm very siked to see them in Charlotte on the Warped Tour :].. They are a big influence on why I became a vegetarian... MEAT'S NOT GREEN!
I FUKIN LOVE ANTI FLAG!!!
i just put there meats not green pic from above as my desktop backround. CHRIS HEAD IS HOT. sorry i just had to write that. my favorite memory at a anti flag show is fighting with a girl in the audience at club soda in MONTREAL canada lol. also the first warped tour i went to i saw them playing die for your goverment and fell in love as soon as i herd them i still listen to die for your government often but my favorite song by them is definitly DEPLETED URANIUM IS A WAR CRIME! other songs i LOVE by them are 1 trillion dollars, good and ready, vices, and this is the end for you my friend. i cant wait to isten to the new cd! hopefully ill get to meet them at warped this summer!
i love anti-flag. i really do look up to them for doing this. not to mention they're songs have great meaning to them just like Rise Against. i love thier song 911 for peace. im going to warped tour and cant wait to see them. and Silverstein
To be honest, i've never actually listened to this band but now i know that they truly support peta, i think i shall listen to their tunes right now lol
I first saw Anti-Flag on tour with Billy Talent, Moneen, and Rise Against. And to be honest I had never heard of them. (Give me a break, I was in 7th grade.) And I was at the merch table with my mom, when they came on. I heard about three words of 1 one trillion dollars and I remember screaming to my mom "We have to get back! I've gotta see this!" and it was amazing. It was different than anything I had ever seen at a concert. It was like the turning point in my life because I began to care about the world around me, animals, and having a divine urge to yell Fuck You! to George Bush. I bought every anti-flag cd I could get my hands on. My favourite song is Probably This Is The End (For You My Friend) because it seems like everyone at my school of elitists including myself has this obsessive nature of being perfect and I'm really able to relate to that.
my favourite song still has to be one trillion dollars, i love the song and the message it sends to me :) there is honestly at least one anti flag song stuck in my head everyday; at the moment, its turncoat. I love you guys! listening to their music changed my views on lots of different aspects of my life; THANKS SO MUCH!!!
I love Anti-Flag and it is so amazing that they are advocating such a worthy cause. The fact that they are veg makes me respect them that much more. They are a vital part of my past and it's great to see that we have more than I thought in common.
i really like the song 911 for peace and i really like anti-flag's type of music. im new to them soo i obviously dindn't see them in concert. but their music sends out a good message
I'm loving the poster!! I have to say my favorite song is still "Hymn for the Dead" from the For Blood or Empire album. I've never seen them in concert yet, but I'm seeing them at Warped Tour this year and I am so excited about that!

shiiiiiit, I love anti-flag! my best memory: in january i was off school for a week, so i took the amtrak from north carolina to see them play the Demand in DC show (my 4th a-f show). I met so many awesome people, including a girl I stayed with for a few days til I went home (shout-out to you, carrie!). The best part? My mom thought i was at a friend's sleepover.
THANK YOU a-f for this kickass experience...

i've seen anti-flag several times in the past five years. i'd have to say my favorite experience was a few years ago when they played a show on my 17th birthday. i baked vegan cookies for the band and gave them to #2 and pat, they were both super stoked. pat and i discussed veganism and we tried to figure out what the meaning of good friday is (since it was the day before, and neither of us really had a clue). amazing dudes, cant wait til warped

Posted by: Tyler B. | June 10, 2009 1:04 AM
Posted by: Heather | June 10, 2009 5:40 PM
They're just so awesome! I think my favorite song would have to be "Hymn of the Dead". My favorite memory is just their energy while thet're rocking out and their ability to get everyone pumped up. I'm looking forward to seeing them rocking out again!
Posted by: Kimbra | June 10, 2009 6:03 PM
I can't pick a favorite Anti-Flag song...they are all amazing :) My favorite memory though was when I saw them at Bamboozle Left with my brother. We were screaming and jumping along...it was an amazing day and set.

My favorite song would probably be "Die for Your Governement" cause that's the first AF song I ever heard when I was just 15 year old kid, back in 1981. I'm still into punk so I guess that AF had a good impact on me:)
Rock on, guys!
Posted by: Sebastian | June 10, 2009 6:55 PM
Haha, "Die For Your Govt" was the first Anti-Flag song I heard too...introduced by a friend as well. Can't wait to see em at warped!

Posted by: Aleata | June 10, 2009 7:40 PM
I've seen Anti-Flag twice, they were amazing and had so much energy. The first time i saw them i decided to be a vegetarian after the show, three years and i love it. I can't wait until they come back around. My favorite songs are probably turncoat, i'd tell you but.. or anatomy of your enemy. they're inspirational.
Posted by: Kaitlin | June 10, 2009 7:57 PM
NOFX pisses me off. That fucking song vegetarian mumbo jumbo pisses me the fuck off.
Posted by: Alex | June 10, 2009 8:10 PM
"You Can Kill The Protester" is my favorite song. Saw them at Warped a couple of years ago and they tore through a set with tons of energy!

I saw Anti-Flag at the Old Blue Last in London and it was brilliant gig. The energy was electric and Anti-Flag were great. I can't wait to see them in October.
My favourite song would have to be either Die For The Government or Good and Ready

Posted by: Cody | June 10, 2009 11:58 PM
ah... well it was 1997 and anti-flag was playing at club laga. the end of the show... playing "kill the rich" and many of us got on stage and sang along with the band and danced and had the greatest time. justin commented after the song was over how awesome the energy was we all had just created and it was something i'll never forget. singing into chris head's mic... blurry vision as i had taken off my glasses to not break them... looking back at pat kickin' the beats... stickin out my tongue like he does then singing some more. there was like 20+ people on that small stage but it was a controlled chaos. no bad seeds... just a great vibe.
Posted by: Matt | June 11, 2009 12:33 AM
geez, i've listened to anti-flag forever and i saw them for the first time at the palladium about a year ago. my greatest memory was easily moshing to 911 for peace and watching my hippie friend who isn't even into punk music crowd surf during it. mass has the best circle pits haha
Posted by: nickk | June 11, 2009 12:44 AM
I have to say there is no possible way to even pick a favorite song by anti-flag...I declare it impossible. All of their songs have an awesome meaning and it's always clear. I can not wait to see them at warped I think that's who I'm looking forward to seeing the most! ^ ^ Well, them and NoFX...lol XD
Posted by: Liz | June 11, 2009 12:59 AM
Anti-Flag! =)
Posted by: Amy | June 11, 2009 1:38 AM
the first song all time low ever played live was anti-flags' angry, young and poor. :)
Posted by: Michelle | June 11, 2009 1:42 AM
I enjoy anti-flag's music, and when I saw this poster I was so amazed and happy. I didn't realise that they were animal activists.
One of my favourite songs is Bright Lights of America, but it's so hard to choose one!
Posted by: Nikki Brasch | June 11, 2009 1:46 AM
I saw Anti-Flag a couple of days ago in a small venue, and oh god, there were memories, moshing, circle pits, crowdsurfing, stage diving, shaking the guy's hands, that small show, topped my summer, and probably right now my life. We chilled and watched the hockey game with them. DROP PUCKS NOT BOMBS!
Posted by: Josh | June 11, 2009 1:48 AM
The Press Corpse is my favourite Anti-Flag song. I've never been to an Anti-Flag show, I had tickets ready but then they cancelled their Australian tour :( I'm not going to America anymore so no Warped for me, but I can't wait for them to come to Melbourne, Australia :)
P.S. Chris #2 is the hottest bass player around ;)

Posted by: jacq | June 11, 2009 3:26 AM
I was at their free show for the taping of the "This Is The End (For You My Friend)" music video. And not only was it a great show, my hand made an appearance!
Posted by: Mel | June 11, 2009 3:35 AM
Haha, Chris 2s face is priceless xD
I saw AF in February, with Flobots and Rise Against. Rise Against were headlining, and while they are amazing, Anti-Flag totally made that concert. They've got so much stage presence, and Chris really gets the audience involved. Great music, great guys.

I'm looking forward to a warped tour one day in Europe!
Posted by: amy | June 11, 2009 5:25 AM

My favorite song of them is Drink Drank Punk.

pretty damn epic band
Posted by: jourdyn | June 11, 2009 9:16 AM
I remember the first time I saw Anti-Flag live. Warped Tour 2006. It was also my first mosh pit (and the best since). The band threw an American flag over the pit, it was spread out over the crowd. And then torn to shreds. I still have my scrap of the flag. =D
Posted by: Pete | June 11, 2009 10:03 AM
Posted by: Camille | June 11, 2009 10:34 AM
The first time I saw them was the absolute best show I have ever been to. Everyone was just dancing and having a good time. Kids kept climbing up on stage and doing stage dives. A few times the security guards tried to stop us and pull kids off stage but the guys literally held the security back while playing just so we could have a good time. I remember seeing this and thinking, Anti-Flag is just everything a band is supposed to be. Amazing music, amazing shows, AND they have their morals in the right place.
Posted by: Sasha | June 11, 2009 10:42 AM
I remember the first Anti-Flag song I ever heard was 911 For Peace. I got goosebumps throughout the whole song. I haven't had the pleasure of going to a show yet but will hopefully get to go in August!

I looove N.B.C. (No Bloodthirsty Corporations) and Mobilize in general. Anti-Flag rule, woooooo!

And the new songs kick ass!
Posted by: Nick | June 11, 2009 12:09 PM
my favourite show memory was when i saw them live in Czech a year after i became vegetarian. they played with Billy talent and i didnt know them nor their music and i was so pretty suprised! they were amazing!! so much energetic... i was in second raw and i was kicked by chris to face when he jumped into crowd but i was so happy and enthusiastic about their music that i didnt notice it at all. and when i found out something more about them i really couldnt be happier.
Posted by: Aurinko | June 11, 2009 12:46 PM
Whoever said that NOFX pissed them off for singing against vegetarian is taking themselves way too seriously. Fat Mike from NOFX is a vegetarian and nothing they ever sing about should be taken seriously, you gotta be able to laugh at yourself.
Anyway... Anti-Flag, gotta love "I'm Being Watched by the CIA"
Posted by: Nick | June 11, 2009 1:05 PM
my fave anti-flag song is 911 for peace!!! amazing!!!
i would LOVE to win a copy of their new CD!

The best thing about Anti-Flag is that they practice what they preach. I have personally learned a lot from listening to them and following the actions they take. It's been a couple years since I've seen them live, it's been too long!

Posted by: Cammy | June 11, 2009 1:53 PM

Posted by: Hannah | June 11, 2009 2:43 PM

Posted by: susan varney | June 11, 2009 7:28 PM

No apoligies telling the truth music!
Posted by: Brian N. | June 11, 2009 8:44 PM
I have two solid Anti-Flag memories.
Posted by: Don | June 11, 2009 10:07 PM
My favorite song is Post-War Breakout and the 2nd favorite is No Borders, No Nations.
Now, I love the band more!

My favorite Anti-Flag song will always be "Rank-n-file."
Posted by: Brandon Allin | June 12, 2009 1:55 AM

I love ANTI FLAG!!
Hopefully I get it from you guys, or I can just sell myself on the street for it... k, i'm totally kidding(or am I)

i love anti flag sooo much! my favorite song is either turncoat or die for the government, but in my opinion there all good. i love anti flag because they make amazing music, they are unique and they are not afraid to say what they think. they speak up about the things in life that are wrong and others are afriad to say. i also love them because they are vegetarians, they try and promote others to become vegetarian not caring that some people are against vegetarianism. i love the fact they are good role models for kids like me, you know when you put posters up on your wall and your mum comes in and shes like look at these horrid men on your wall setting you a bad example and then you can just turn and say "well, in fact they are a really good example, Anti Flag care about how the country is being run and they want to stop violence, they are also want to stop the slaughtering of animals and help the environment aswell, and there not horrid men there beautiful." my favorite time i seen them was when they were with rise against at the ABC, it was a total crazy concert and it was the most ive ever been squashed, but it was also one of the happiest days of my life. i met pat thetic and got a picture with him, i made a friend in the queue and me and my friends were sliding in the beer lol. i just want to say i love anti flag so much and i love what they are saying.

I really like their song, "the Bright Lights of America", it's so amazing. It makes me happy.
I did draw fanart for Anti-Flag once, but the art website I put them on deleted them saying that I stole it. Whatever.

Posted by: Jenna Cameron | June 14, 2009 3:26 PM

I never had the chance to see Anti-Flag live, when they were playing at the warped tour I was at a few years ago I was a hour late to see there show. =( I hope I get to see them at warped tour this summer if I can get the money to go.

Posted by: Trevor | June 17, 2009 3:43 PM
Wow words do not describe how much I love these guys. Been into them for about 4 years now. My favorite songs would have to be Turncoat, One People One Struggle, Spaz's House Destruction Party, pretty much any of their songs
I'm gonna see them at Warped next week, and I'm going to make it a priority to get a hug from Justin Sane

Posted by: David | June 19, 2009 4:02 PM

Oh yeah and I love Bright Eyes :)
Posted by: Pembe | June 19, 2009 6:52 PM

I love Anti-Flag and it is so amazing that they are advocating such a worthy cause. The fact that they are veg makes me respect them that much more. They are a vital part of my past and it's great to see that we have more than I thought in common.
