Comments: VICTORY: Urban Outfitters Is Now Fur-Free!

This is truly great! More animals will not have to die for people to wear their fur. It is great to see how people can come together to defend innocent animals and open peoples eyes to what is morally right for these animals. It shows that all of these e-mails do indeed have an effect choices people make. More and more people ill get involved when they see this. Great job everyone who made this possible and may we work to have more people see what is right! :)
Wonderful news to hear. On a personal level also I am very very happy. I have an adopted FERRET, female, Mumoo, whose mother was brutually slaughtered for her FUR. Hence this is great news for all people who love ANIMALS.
Oh, lovely. I have an unhealthy addiction to that store . . . sometimes I look down and I am head to toe, shoes to necklace, dressed in Urban. Eek. I even managed to find a pair of awesome boots that were all man-made materials. Whew.

Thank you UO for doing the right thing. I'm back in the fold and back in your store.

That just made my week =]

Well it is quite awesome that UO has agreed to stop using fur. Now we need to get them to stop using leather!!
Nearly all of their spring sandals are made with leather straps, and much of their past winter wear incorporated leather.
People forget that while wearing fur is cruel, it is no more so than wearing leather.

Can we stop them from selling leather now? leather is evil too, i don't know why that's not a primary focus as well.
