thanksgiving is an american holiday where we celebrate pilgrams and indians coming together and giving thanks to the christian god
HAPPY THANKSGIVING PETA!
this will be my first thanksgiving as a vegetarian and i am so excited that my parents are willing to make the effort to accomodate me!i am having my first tofurky as will i be having carrots and potatoes. it is hard for them to accept my eating habbits but at least they are willing to have a tofurky alongside them :) thats a start.
my uncle thinks that being a vegetarian is killing our planet and the since we have been killing then for more then 5,000 years theres no reason for us to stop.
Today he invited me over for food but the food consists with meat and i am a vegetarian.
i believe hes very wrong to think that.
i just wish all the meat eaters can just stop trying to find something wrong about being vegetarian and be a vegetarian!
i have made...
tofurky! vegan penut-butter chocolate chip pumpkin cupcakes! and these leaf shaped blueberry biscuit thingies!
yummmmmmmy :]
i am taking it to the family feast!
ily!
No way, no way. That looks so good!
I had Thanksgiving with my family who are not vegetarian at all - so I had some mashed potatoes (with margarine), sweet potatoes (also with margarine), some dressing with fake sausage, some homemade bread (baked by moi ;)) and some vegan apple pie from the grocery store. :P
It was good :) Not as good as that looks though
For Thanksgiving, I had Tofurky, vegan mashed potatoes, vegan stuffing (mmm yum!), fresh vegetables, hummus, and apple pie.
It was delicious!
And my family actually like the vegan stuffing more than the turkey stuffing. :)
this year was the first year out of the five that i have been a vegetarian that i got to make a tofurkey, and it was so fricken good! suprisingly my family members who were skeptical at first really liked it. they even said "it tastes like real turkey", only proving my point that going veg is the better choice!
i finaly found tofurky so tofurky for me this year
that looks delicious
HAPPY THANKSGIVING PETA!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our American Street Teamers!
Those vegan cupcakes look so good I want to lick my computer screen!!
Does anyone know where I can buy vegan nogg in the UK? Or can anyone point me in the direction of an easy recipe? Thanks!
