I'm so happy to hear about the charges. I do believe Hormel should be closed down for allowing such cruel acts against innocent animals. Excellent job Peta!!!!!
I am outraged about this story! The fact that these human monsters are allowed to continue to work on the farm (or just find another group of animals to torment and torture on another farm) confirms that we do not have strict enough laws in place to ensure the humane and ethical treatment of animals. I would appreciate the names of any Iowa representatives that can write and enforce laws to make mandatory Peta's 9-point policy. Perhaps if enough of us wrote to these law-makers, we could do more to prevent the future abuse of animals that can do nothing to defend themselves.
