It's strange that some people think heavy metal/emo/goth kids are scary but they're some of the kindest people I know, especially when it comes to caring about animals.
I think it's funny that you'd be getting asked if metal people were treating you okay, I'm a total "scary looking" metalhead and I'm a very strict vegan and no one I know is more supportive of being vegan and more interested in helping animals than my metalhead friends, just because we're scary looking people assume we're mean, but we're some of the nicest most passionate people around!
the way you dress has nothing to do with anything. I hate when people use labels and then say people who dress like this are "scary" grr. stop judging.
anyways i so wish i were there! I hope to table at a concert in the near future
that looks like so much fun.
