I love being a vegetarian because it's such an easy way to help animals, and I don't have to feel bad about actively contributing to their suffering. I would wear a size M t-shirt. Thanks!
being a vegetarian is more to me than just saving animals. it's also saving myself. by being a vegetarian, i am less tired and i keep myself busier by spreading what i believe in. it's truly something i enjoy because i know i will live longer without eating meat. vegetarianism is wonderful.
I like to be vegetarian because it saves animals and even helps the environment. plus a lot of veggie food is really good. I feel better. my hair is stronger, my nails don't break as easily. my eyes are bright, and clear. I love how i look and feel from not eating meat.
I love animals way too much to ever eat them. I'm an animal lover, not an animal eater! I feel soooo good now that i'm veg, I have tons of energy and feel great. Congrats to Jessica for making that awesome shirt, I'm Canadian too! =)

Being vegetarian gives me the pride that no animal was killed for me to eat. Also, vegetarians have been proven to be healthier. And now I don't have to eat what my mom cooks xD
everything about being vegetarian is awesome. i love the fact that i can save animals, feel great and stay healthy. i've converted twelve of my friends and family to become vegetarians also, which i think is great. i've also made many friends hanging out with the veg crowd, and by walking down the street wearing PETA2 and PETAKIDS shirts, i've had deep conversations with complete strangers about vegetarianism. i also love how i have a nice, detoxed, clean and un-clogged feeling by not stuffing myself with dead animals. just thinking about when i did that, makes me cringe. i love being vegetarian. i love animals, and i think everyone should be one, animals don't deserve it. also, i've had alot more money in my pocket, meat is so expensive and great vegan foods are easy on the wallet. i love everything about vegetarianism, and i love saving animals. i think that shirt is adorable and i'd looooove to own it. i'm a adult small-ish. please pick me ;) hehe. ANIMALS ARE FRIENDS, NOT FOOD!
The best thing about being veg? Sleeping at night. And being able to look at my furry little friends without guilt, since I'm not eating their cousins.

The best part of being vegetarian is having the ability to make others reconsider the ethical implications of their choices without saying a word, by just sharing a meal with them.
everything!!!
being a vegetarian just so happened to be about the best thing/feeling i have ever had!
knowing that u save alot of animals and that u help keeping them, is an ext ordinary/indescribable best feeling ever. even when u don't get so much support from family.hopefully this shirt will help me put the word out there!!!

Ah ha ha! I actually did my sophmore research project on why It's great to be a vegetarian! I'm not going to post my whole project, but i'll do some key points :-D
-. By living a vegetarian lifestyle, one can greatly reduce or even terminate the risk of contracting many serious medical problems and are given the opportunity to live a longer, healthier life while saving the lives of many voiceless animals.
-Meat is often full of additives and hormones, and can possibly contain ecoli or mad-cow disease. (Corliss) Meat is also full of saturated fat, which clogs arteries
-Eating meat pushes calcium out of the body and produces bone loss.
-eating meat can lead to colon cancer( chance of getting colon cancer is increased by 300% by eating meat), urinary tract stones, breast cancer, dental erosion, food poisoning, getting kidney stones, hypertension, coronary artery disease, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, stroke, intestinal disease, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes.
-. By failing to eat vegetables regular, a man’s risk of getting prostate enlargement quadruples. In fact, eating meat every day can triple a man’s chance of getting prostate enlargement.
-A vegetarian diet can eliminate or reduce the amount of insulin used by people with type one diabetes.
-Vegetarians have a forty- percent less chance of getting cancer than meat eaters. Vegetarians also tend to have lower blood pressure, because by cutting meat and fatty foods out of a diet, the thickness of blood is reduced.
-) Vegetarians also have stronger immune systems than meat eaters do. This means that they are less likely to get ill.
-Vegetarianism improves nerve function.
-Vegetarian children usually grow to be taller and have higher IQ’s than their meat-eating peers.
-Vegetarians are less likely to be overweight. Averagely, vegetarians weight up to twenty pounds less than meat-eaters.
-Vegans and Vegetarians on average live six to ten years longer than those who eat meat.
-becoming a vegetarian is more beneficial on the body then giving up smoking or alcohol.
Thank you very much ! I wear an extra small ( or a small)
The best thing about being a vegetarian? Not just because it benefits my health. It's not just because of my passion for animals. And it's not just because I'm helping out the environment. I am a proud vegetarian because of the inspiration. I'm the only vegetarian in my city as well as my ENTIRE family. Sometimes it can be hard because they try to set a counter example for me, but I never listen. It was my decision to be a proud vegetarian ever since I was 11 years old. Im almost 15 and I keep my animal passions strong. Okay, so I've gotten many negative comments from jerky guys and bitchy girls from my high school. Well, guess what? My vegetarianism is here to stay whether they like it or not! Who knows? If I keep telling them the advantages of being vegetarian (no matter HOW much they get annoyed by it), they might follow the path of a compassionate animal lover. Even my dad is starting to get convinced because he admits that he wants to be healthier so he can live longer and watch me mature from a pressured teenager to a mature young woman who shall be a famous author one day :D
Heya's :D Ok i love being a veg. because not only do i save animals everyday 4 not eating them but other people ask why I dont eat meat and ive had friends go veg since ive explained! I actually just did a big project for social issues on stopping animal cruelty how people could help by becoming a member of PETA and or joining the peta2 street team!
I also love all the energy I get from eating healthier and my skin is clearer! It ROX! go VEGGIS!
but what gives me the best feeling about being a vegitarian is that i am choosing not to bring harm to an animal! I also wont use animal tested products or wear leather or fur. its totally wrong to use animals for all that shit you know? just think of how the baby animals feel!
well anyhooo that is what I love about being a veg. so ROCK ON PETA KEEP DOIN WHAT YOU DO! much love!
T-shirt size- Women size small
Being veg is the best! If more people went veg that the world would notice that killing animals, animal abuse, animal testing and hunting are wrong! I love all animals even those who stink to high heaven! I don't think I could stand it if I wasn't a veg freak. Like is so much better being veg then it ever was eating meat! Anyways my shirt size is an XL.
whats great about being veg? EVERYTHING.
most importantly, having amazing values, while saving amazing animals at the same time.

what i think is great about being veg is saving animals and being healthy. It feels great to know that you're helping animals stay alive.
What is great about being a veg? No animals have to suffer and die for me. I wish that everyone felt the same way. I would like a size large t-shirt, please. Thanks!
2X Please. I just recently turned vegetarian. I just couldn't stand thinking I was eating animals. And, I also did it for my health. I don't miss meat at all, and I'm so glad for contests like this. This motivates me even more!!!
Being a vegetarian is one of the greatest things that I've done in my life. I started by reading Free the Animals by Ingrid Newkirk, which helped open my eyes to how things actually are in the world. Ever since, my friends and I have started showing other people what being a vegetarian or vegan is all about. Thats it's not just for health benefits, but for the sake of defenseless animals everywhere, animals that should not be used for testing of unneeded products or eaten because they can be. This shirt would help us go against people who have kept their eyes hut for too long.
What's great about being veg?
You'll feel great knowing that you food didn't get murdered. And, you won't have to think 'Could I be eating my friend?'
My t-shirt size is a medium, please.
What I love about being veg is all the great foods that you can try. There are so many yummy meat substitutes out there I never knew about until I went veg! I also love not having that guilty feeling everytime you eat meat. My tshirt size is medium.
i think the best thing about being veg. is that i can make food and not have to worry about my 2 year old niece is going to get sick or consume pus ridden things.
also the activism is really great. i love going to school and passing out leaflets and speaking on the animals behalf

What's great about being vegetarian; firstly, you can eat a meal without being a murderer let alone feeling like a murderer! =)
Secondly, you get to know that nothing has ever died because of you. I could never bear to be the cause of pain to any animal.
Thirdly, no one can ever come up to you and say, "You know where that comes from????" and expect you to be shocked! (That is provided you are eating edible substances. Which I do.)
Also, you never have to feel guilty because the horrible stench bothering you in a restaurant is actually coming from your food.
And if you ever see a stack of white feathers piled up you know your not responsible for it and Importantly, you have something you believe in based on ethics not religion or society etc.
Finally, unless you stab your self with a fork while eccentrically waving your arms around and trying to make a point during a meal time discussion you will NEVER find bloody in your food. Thankfully.
What i like about being veg is that i now feel healthier and i feel good about saving animals in the process.
I have wanted to become a vegetarian for a loooooong time but never actually stuck to it.
then one day i decided i was going to do it and i havent eaten an animal since!!
my whole life, my mom has raised me to be veg and i feel so great knowing that a poor, innocent, helpless animal didnt have to spill any blood or be harmed in any way so that some sick-ass could profit off of their pain to provide my meals.
Thnx! (size small)
Being a vegan is really the right thing to do, I think. And I love it, because I really don't think it's a good idea to eat something that might run away from me.
This is so......Cute i want it. I mean its adoreable and i would love it if just for 6 months out of a year everyone in the world would become veg. Can you imaagine how many animals would live. So I would love to spread a word to save animals and atleast giving being a veg a chance. Just to see how many animals would live when they quit eating meat.
Besides the immense health benefits, veganism and vegetarianism empower people. They make people feel like they're doing something for the world. And they are! Vegetarians are brave enough to recognize that something is seriously not right in the way animals are proccessed for meat and other products. Honestly, vegetarians are superheroes. 8)
Thanks for listening, and I'm a size small women's.
I'm a vegetarian because of peta2.com. I found out about it from a friend of a friend [who gave me a 'I'm Not a Nugget' sticker]. I researched everything from Kentucky Fried Cruelty [HALLELUJAH THEY GAVE IN!] and watched almost every video. I don't have the strongest stomach really and after this site I couldn't continue eating meat. I've loved animals all my life and I'm glad that I've taken it one step further. I love everything about not eating meat. I love not contributing to such a cruel industry such as the meat industry and I love converting other people to vegetarianism. I love informing people about peta2 and how eating meat is wrong and I love helping and saving animals and it makes me feel a lot better physically and emotionally. My shirt size is a S. Thank you so much peta2!
love and hugs,

There are hundreds of things that are great about being vegetarian. The greatest thing of all is that in this world where changes need to partake, you CAN make a difference just by being vegetarian and saving animal's lives. This way, you are also helping the environment, and making the earth a less cruel place to live. The feeling of helping out is the greatest thing in being a vegetarian for me. Since I've converted to being veg I've been healthier and happier, and I'm proud to say that I will NEVER intake flesh.
being a veg is the greatest thing ever saving animals even if its just one a day while being commited 2 saving them all..keeping them off our plates and letting them be free like they were intended 2 be since the beggining it was there world first and now its time 2 share the world equally with them... and I will even put an animal b4 myself just because animals cant talk or speak 4 themselves doesnt mean people can murder them just 2 eat.HEY IM A VEG AND PROUD 2 SAY IM ONE OF THE THOUSANDS OF VOICES STANDING UP FOR ANIMALS!!! and ill never stop!!
every animal deserves a chance to live a full life and I love helping as much as I can.. i would give my life for an animal-
SO LONG LIVE THE ANIMALS
*girls small*
What isn't fantastic about being veggie? I love it, I love feeling healthy and energetic. I have stronger nails, I'm much healthier, I have better skin. It's fantastic. I eat more fruit and vegetables so I have clearer skin, and I'm probably the healthiest person in my family. And to top it all off, I know that 100 little animals are saved every year thanks to me, and I think that is the best feeling in the world.
I like waking up every morning and having all of the friendly people at Peta2 to give me advice. I like being able to drive past a farm and see the animals as more than food. I like having a wide variety of foods to eat. I like feeling more energized, and looking healthier. I guess EVERYTHING about being veg is greatt!!
Being a vegetarian is all around good. Good for you, good for the environment, good for local farmers, good for relating to other cultures, good for animals, and good for exercising brain cells as you try to invent new and exciting ways to eat healthy.
I am proud to be veg! For 27 years. We all need to learn to co-exist with nature and our furry friends for the sake of our future. My best friends are my animals, they have so much to say if you just listen.
size med
Being veggie is awesome 'cause your body feels so much better - clearer, lighter, healthier - and you get that warm fuzzy feeling inside by knowing nothing suffered for you to eat it.
hey!! I love animals and would never do anything to hurt one much less kill it and eat it!!! Gross! I love being veg cause I feel so much healther and I love to be different and me showing off my veggieness has gotton some of my friends to stop eatting meat and my mom has really started thinking about it. Bloody fless is just not my thing I guess.
Size: XL
Being Vegetarian makes me feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside! It's definately a conversation starter and has earned me respect from my parents (even though they are not veggie they have grow to understand and appreciate how much will power I have).
I am able to tell people about the cruel things the meat industrie does without being a hipocrite (i.e. My friend tells people how they about animals right as she takes a bite into her death burger)
I have grow to enjoy so many new and interesting foods! I have almost perfected my toasted tofu and love making my stuffed pepper sweet pack (Odd name I know, but it is really good and as a former picky eater this food is adventurous)
If nothing else, being vegetarian is wonderful because, simply, nothing dies when I eat. Yes, plants die, but they feel no pain. I don't kill any helpless animals so I can feed. No blood in my food (not a fan of blood, especially that of a murdered creature)
Now, vegetarians save lives, the enviroment, and ultimately the vegetarian him/herself. So name one thing not good about it?... I'm sure the 1,569,205 can't find a reason not to be vegetarian...
I feel so much better after becoming a vegetarian..My body feels more energetic and alive...plus Im no longer tortured when i do eat..I used to eat burgers, etc..and feel so bad about it...Now Im feeling great!!
Not only do I feel better about myself after becoming a Veg, I feel great to know that I'm not responsible for the murder of thousands of animals every day. I've always loved animals of all kinds and I don't think that it's right that they should die so that we may ingest them. Ugh. I love being Veg. It's made me so much healthier and happier. It's the best thing I ever did.
:-D Small, please.
I think it is to save the planet and animals.
I am more happy than before I became vegatarian, but the thought of having a better life, saving animals and the earth, are helping me to say no to meat. Plus I tried a whole new world of food ;D
The great thing about being vegg. is knowing ur making a difference in saving thousands of animals in a lifetime and hopefully helping others discover how using animals for food or clothing is absolutely pointless because of the alternatives we have now. I mean why cause pain and suffering if you don't have to? Hopefully with all the great work you do, PETA and all of the people like me who make the change not to eat meat and to someday achive a world where eating, wearing and experimenting with animals is non-existant. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++size:+small.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++So+thank+you+so+much+for+reading+this.+PETA+rocks!
being able to spread the word and knowing that you're doing something great for your health, your environment and all of the cute defenseless animals out there! SIze Medium :D
I love being a vegetarian, and everything about it. When people say, "How could you not eat meat?" I say, "How could you eat it?" You don't feel bad about killing something you're eating, you're more aware of things, and you feel much better. Plus, a lot of people find it interesting, and it's fun to talk about :]
I like that im saving animals. Why kill animals when there is other alternatives. Meat is not neccesary, its just what people think. I like to know that somewhere a moher cow actually gets to watch her calf grow up. I like knowing that i'm one less person people have to kill animals for. It makes me fell better to know that i'm not a murderer anymore!!!!!
size youth M or womens S
Thanks for the chance!!!!
i dont just like being a vegetarian, i love it. I love how i can say that because ive stoped eating meat, i am a lot healthier; that my heart has got just that much longer to keep beating.
I love that the fact that I have chosen to practice self-control and show compassion towards all living things, i can say that i have saved a life each and every day i go to bed! That feeling just cant be beat!
what's great about being vegan is grilling veggie burgers and veggie kabobs for your non-vegetarian friends, and having them be impressed and very thankful for the meal because they have been stuck in a fast food diet for however long :D
I love eating my meals and not thinking about dead animals (like I used to when I ate meat). I am very very picky about what I eat, if it has one ingredient in it from a dead animal I don't eat it (like jello, marshmallows, alot of brands of tortillas, some refried beans have lard in them, ect).
And I look and feel healthier to boot!
Size large in adult tshirt sizes please!
What I think is great about being veg?
Where do I start?
You get to eat without affecting other beings that feel just as us. We get a chance to respect life and the beautiful animals, we get a chance to be kind and compassionate.
Plus, being veg helps our health and our spirit.
There's not one single bad thing about vegan.
Oh, did I mentioned that, VEGETARIANS KEEP THE BEAT ALIVE
I think the greatest thing about being vegan/vegetarian (besides saving tons of animals) would have to be the heath benefits. I can stay in pretty good shape and not have to exercise, any more than is required to shop at the mall that is. I enjoy this because i am not a fan of exercising.
It's great being a vegetarian because I can feel good about myself for not eating animals that are living/breathing creatures with each their own unique personality.
And besides, veggie burgers are much more delicious (and guilt free) than those nasty fast food burgers.
:-]
If I'm lucky enough to win, my t-shirt size is small adult.
I think being a vegetarian makes me feel healthier inside and out. I know I am not adding to the pollution load of the earth as much as meat eaters and I know that what I put in my body is good.
Through my vegetarianism, I'm helping keep the CO2 emissions of cows at a minimum, ensuring that my genetic disposition for heart disease is regulated, and keeping farmers in business (especially local, organic farmers). I would love a size Medium T-Shirt!
I'm a size medium and being vegetarian is probably the biggest thing I can do to have an impact on the environment in general. Plus it makes me way happier!
I have been a vegetarian for many years ,I grew up on a farm ,we didn't have alot of money so we planted our food and I don't believe in hurting any animals
Size M please.
Have been a vegetarian for years and my 17 year old has just become one. The knowledge that I have not been responsible for a fellow creature's pain and death is why I am a vegetarian. And I haven't met a vegetable that I didn't like!
My tee shirt size is an XXL. The thing that is great about being veg is how the site tries to make it clear how we should all be so animal friendly. I appreciate that since I love animals so much and they deserve to be treated with respect. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win. Thanks.
I love being veg! You feel healthier and think clearer.
So many people have told me that they are proud of me but could never stop eating meat themselves. Then I say "Even a SHARK, predator of the sea, can go veg (Finding Nemo) why can't you?" They just stand there stunned as I proceed to tell them of the horrible methods used to kill chickens, cow, etc. until they finally realize the consequences of their actions.
Overall, you feel better and are doing the better thing.
Being healthy and saving animals. Size L please. ;-) Thanks.

~Peace!

Size M for me
The best thing about being a vegetarian?

I also wont use animal tested products or wear leather or fur. its totally wrong to use animals for all that shit you know? just think of how the baby animals feel!
well anyhooo that is what I love about being a veg. so ROCK ON PETA KEEP DOIN WHAT YOU DO! much love!

My shirt size should be a medium.

Thankfully.

Where do I start?
You get to eat without affecting other beings that feel just as us. We get a chance to respect life and the beautiful animals, we get a chance to be kind and compassionate.
Plus, being veg helps our health and our spirit.
There's not one single bad thing about vegan.

I'm a size medium and being vegetarian is probably the biggest thing I can do to have an impact on the environment in general. Plus it makes me way happier!

PS. size M :)
