Pie wins this one, just because it takes more time effort and energy to make. so much more goes into it! plus, you can mix things up and experiment a lot more with pies! also, pies are less temperamental with the vegan ingredients i use, and i get sooo many compliments on my pies!!
I think pie because so many times a fresh, healthy ingredient is incorporated - fruits, berries, sweet potatoes, etc. And pie is so often just lighter and not sooooo rich.
I'm a pie girl, myself! I grew up in the Boondocks, and while everyone is pretty capable of making a cake, the art of homemade pie dough isn't something that just anyone can duplicate! :)
I like pie better, but it's so hard to find vegan recipes for a good one.
I recently became a vegan a couple months ago.
Are there any margarines out there that do not have any animal products in them (in Canada). I can't seem to find anything.
I always thought margarine was animal free but it's not.
This is a dream come true! It's so hard to find baked vegan treats and a girl's gotta have her treats. As for cake or pie, I'm think I'm a sucker for both but cake wins out.

I think pie because so many times a fresh, healthy ingredient is incorporated - fruits, berries, sweet potatoes, etc. And pie is so often just lighter and not sooooo rich.

I'm a pie girl, myself! I grew up in the Boondocks, and while everyone is pretty capable of making a cake, the art of homemade pie dough isn't something that just anyone can duplicate! :)

I like pie better, but it's so hard to find vegan recipes for a good one.
I recently became a vegan a couple months ago.
Are there any margarines out there that do not have any animal products in them (in Canada). I can't seem to find anything.
I always thought margarine was animal free but it's not.
