I AM SO GLAD HE GOT THIS PENALTY!
however, i think that a more appropriate punishment would be to have the dogs shred him apart and see how he likes it.

this is amazing!!! thank God, he got what he deserves and though pit bulls were hurt hopefully this will prevent it from happening again.

(ps.. cruelty to animals and muder is a crime that should be punishable equally to a crime aginst a human being it's not right.

This is a find day that this maniac has got the well deserved punishment he deserved. These animals now can have their justice aginst this man and i only wish that something could have been done sooner but now he will rott in hell for eternity and i hope he will learn that what he did might as well have been a crime aginst the country because so many of us care about animal right's and we will not rest as long as cruel acts come upon animals

I agree with Pulin that this punishment may not be strict enough. I hope that the consequences show mercy to the animals' pain and not the gamblers'.

23 months is less than two years. That's very little punishment for the lives he took and the torture he promoted. However, I'm very thankful that he did get a punishment for his cruel and unjust actions.

good, that jerk deserves more time in my opinion, what makes rich and famous people think they can get away with anything??? those animals suffered and died just to provide a few bucks of sleazy entertainment to some lame assholes. lets watch and see what happens to DMX who is so stupid he confeses to dogfighting in his music. boo!!!

Yes! If it were up to me animal abusers would get punishments that really fit their crimes...but 2 years in jail isn't bad considering he's a celebrity and laws regarding animal cruelty are far too lax. Also, Mr. Poindexter? Really? Haha. I'm mature. Anyway, the letter is already sent.

This kind at school was joking saying Michael Vick was his hero.

The kid wasn't talking about Vick's football career, either.

I can take a joke, but that is just sick...

There's no doubt what Vick did was awful, and given the length of the dog fighting/gambling ring, he deserved a stiff penalty.

But he is not the biggest villain in professional sports. Everyone's outraged at what Vick did, yet every week Leonard Little lines up to play for the St. Louis Rams.

I don't know what happened to this country, but I'm three years away from moving to Canada.
