Free Stuff Friday: Vegan Wishbones for Thanksgiving! November 13, 2009

So I can't say I've ever broken a wishbone myself, but I've definitely seen other people do it a time or two. After devouring some turkey carcass, you're going to snap one of its bones in hopes your wish will come true? The whole thing seems pretty crazy to me. I mean, wouldn't the turkey have wished not to be eaten in the first place?
Thank goodness for Lucky Break Wishbone. These guys knew there were plenty of non-meat eaters who have wishes too. They created a vegan wishbone! So why not save a turkey and pass these around your dinner table instead? The chances of getting your wish are exactly the same ... I promise!
For your chance to win a box of 10 Lucky Break Wishbones, comment below with your #1 wish for animals by November 20. The three people with the most original comments will be chosen as our winners and notified on November 23.

Do you care about animals? Could you use a lucky break? Sick of wishing on stars? I hear ya.
I think we all feel we could use a little luck from time to time (I certainly do!). Well, the folks over at Lucky Break Wishbone have created a wishbone that is most definitely vegan-friendly—the wishbones are completely synthetic. Yup, that's right, there's even a cruelty-free option to the definitely not vegetarian-friendly tradition of breaking the wishbone.
Just think—by using these wishbones, you can make all sorts of wishes about better treatment for animals (though we always recommend you take action as well).
Heck, you could even stick one in the middle of your Tofurky if you so choose (just make sure no one tries to eat it!).
Some cool things about Lucky Break Wishbone:
- The package proudly states, "VEGETARIANS TAKE NOTE: NO FOWL - NO FOUL."
- Both the packaging and the wishbones themselves are recyclable.
- They're made in the USA.
This contest ends on November 20, 2008 and the winners will be chosen and notified the same day.
