Anne Hathaway: Meat-Free Bridezilla January 12, 2009

The ultra girly side of me has been waiting for Bride Wars to come out—sue me, I'm all about the gown and the flowers and the ring and the cake and...I'm not sorry. Besides, who doesn't want to see Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson slug it out, right?

I just love Anne Hathaway, she's like magic on the screen. I was thrilled when I heard she was playing one of the warring brides. Did you catch her on "The Late Show with David Letterman" while promoting her last film, Rachel Getting Married (also amazing btw)?

After he complimented her on how great her skin looked she told him it was because she had not only given up smoking and drinking but that she had also stopped eating meat and pointed out that meant fish too. Yay, Anne! No wonder she looks so amazing, eliminating all of the toxins, chemicals, and death from your diet definitely gives you a healthy glow.

Back to the movie, Liv (Hudson) and Emma (Hathaway) are bff's who've been planning their weddings since childhood (as I have), both dreaming of having their big day at The Plaza in NYC. All seems to be going according to plan when a scheduling error results in both of their weddings being booked on the same day and, well, enter the bridezillas. Talk about back-stabbing...it's fab! And not to give anything away but the bachelorette party scene is pretty hilarious.

Oh, and Kristen Johnston, who recently posed naked in PETA's latest anti-horse-drawn carriages ad is also in the cast and she's marvelous. And Marta wanted me to point out that Bryan Greenberg is also in the cast and that she is planning on marrying him. Just make sure it's not on the same day I marry my celebrity husband, Marta.

Kate Hudson's New Cruelty Free Hair Care Prods July 20, 2007

Last weekend Kate Hudson was spotted hiding behind the shirt of Mr. Dax Shepard as the duo left Malibu's Nobu restaurant hand in hand. Allegedly Shepard took the shirt right off his back and gave it to the lovely Ms. Hudson so she could shield herself from the paps. Good to know that chivalry isn't dead in Hollywood. Whether or not any of the rumors surrounding what they were doing together are true is of no concern to me (OK, actually I do care because I like them both and they're cute together) but what is of concern to me is her new cruelty free hair care line. Kate and her hair stylist David Babaii are creating a line of products called David Babaii for WildAid. "I've considered doing other campaigns in the past, but with this one, I jumped in without hesitation," she says. "I love that the products use natural ingredients and aren't tested on animals." Yay! The products are expected to hit shelves later this year and a portion of the proceeds are going to WildAid, an org working to stop the devastation of wildlife, so scoop 'em up when you see them, I know I will, especially if they make my hair look anything like Kate's.
