Free Stuff Friday: Limited Edition "Hello Doggy" Jersey! January 9, 2009

Did you know that, right now, in backyards across the country, millions of dogs are miserable, alone, and freezing? Unfortunately, many people don't treat man's best friends as they should. They keep them chained up for most, if not all, of their innocent lives. These poor guys, otherwise known as "backyard dogs", not only face physical dangers, such as dehydration and frostbite, but emotional and psychological dangers as well. Dogs are social. They love to run, play fetch, have their bellies rubbed, and give tons of kisses. I know mine do! And when any dog is left chained up with little to no human contact, they become nervous, depressed and, even aggressive.

Here, at peta2, we love our pooches and in honor of "Unchain a Dog"month, peta2 is giving away our "Hello Doggy" limited edition jersey.
