Heck of a Hellfest July 2, 2007

This time it was in different surroundings, namely Clisson in France for Hellfest. I am sure you can imagine I jumped at the chance to go and see Earth Crisis, Converge, Primal Age, Emperor and a whole lot of other bands and to help the French see that living a cruelty-free lifestyle is the best for the environment, health and the most compassionate way to live. Me and tabling wizard Sarah set off in the evening of Thursday and basically rocked the driving and got there the next morning.

After meeting up with our PETA France cousin Nicolas and friend Marc we set the wheels into motion and stormed the venue—getting a whole lot of sign ups.

That's kinda when it started bucketing it down. Imagine Glastonbury but with less British and more black clothes. But with a brolly in one hand and a clipboard in the other we carried on, much like the warriors of old. Now I don't class myself as one of life's campers and it was with a heavy hand and sorry heart that I had to stay in a tent but I was pleased we got to bust out the barbeque for some vegan burgers.

Oh and finally I found some one with pig tattoos in the same place as my chickens.

Much rock
