Free Stuff Friday: Meat's Not Green Tote Bags! December 18, 2008
Posted by Patricia at December 18, 2008 6:12 PM | Permalink | Comments ( 227 ) | TrackBackOne of my favorite peta2 campaigns is "Meat's Not Green" for lots of reasons—the biggest being that I'm tired of listening to people talk about recycling and changing light bulbs and driving hybrids while chewing on a chicken sandwich. Newsflash...you're not an environmentalist if you still eat animals. Plain and simple.
As the UN points out, the number one cause of global warming is raising animals for meat. Everyone needs to get that message loud and clear, and we want you to help us spread the word. So this week's Free Stuff Friday is for the "Meat's Not Green" tote bag.

They're organic cotton canvas and big enough to hold a bunch of groceries, books, clothes, whatever you want to cram in there. Plus, these babies are machine washable in case you're concerned about that sort of thing.
Want to be one of five lucky winners? Then comment below with your thoughts about why you can't be a meat-eating environmentalist.
This contest ends January 2, 2009 and the winners will be chosen and notified by January 6, 2009.
