The Color Fred's New Video: A peta2.com Exclusive! April 13, 2009

If I haven't told you lately, I absolutely love Fred Mascherino. Some of you may know our favorite vegan Fred from his work in Breaking Pangea or Taking Back Sunday, but if you're not hip to his newest project, The Color Fred—you're really missing out! For those of you who know and love The Color Fred like I do, you'll be happy to know that he's teaming up with peta2 again in 2009 for the release of his newest album.

Fred's new album, The Intervention EP, hits all independent record stores tomorrow, April 14th, on "Record Store Day", and as a way for his fans to hear different versions of his newest songs, Fred filmed an exclusive acoustic video performance for five different "Friends of Fred"—lucky for you, peta2 is one of the five!

Not only is his talent undeniable, from his past work in Taking Back Sunday to his current solo work, but we also know Fred Mascherino as an environmentalist as well as a vegan friend to animals!

We were able to catch up with Fred on Warped Tour this summer and talk to him about our newest campaign, Meat's Not Green. Check out what he had to say below!
