Pillar of Autumn Show in Detroit on September 5th! August 31, 2009

Since today is Monday, school is starting, and you're making new friends, I have the perfect event for you this weekend! Our friends in Pillar of Autumn have a big show on Saturday, September 5th for you all to hit up and check out some brand new songs! They're one of the most talked about bands from Detroit and put on an intense live show that'll make you want to scream 'I love these guys, and I'm Not A Nugget!' Pillar of Autumn also has a great reputation for helping peta2 out with campaigns like McCruelty at their shows so more and more people become more aware that McDonald's suppliers are cutting the throats of chickens while they are still conscious. Check out the flyer down below, peta2's MySpace page, and/or Pillar of Autumn's MySpace page for more information about the show!

Post a comment to let us know if you're heading out to it and make sure to comment on their picture in the Next Big Thing photo album!

Cobra Starship tour green Detroit Web of Life
The first official week of the Cobra Starship tour just ended and it was packed full of good food, long drives, late nights, awesome people, and good times!!
You may notice a new face in a few of the pictures. That's one of our awesome Street Teamers (and good friend) Roxy from Dayton, OH. Interested in joining our Street Team? Check it out here.
As we were making our way from Cleveland to Detroit we stopped at Web of Life right outside of Cleveland. Roxy and Joey took on some mighty large pieces of yummy vegan cake and dominated that shiz.

Roxy and Joey ready to go! Talk about the Ohio kids keeping it on lock down.

Joey above and Roxy below informing everyone in Detroit, MI, about our Meat's Not Green campaign. Did you know that farmed animals use more than half the water consumed in the US?

We're in the Midwest for the next few days which should prove to be nothing short of amazing, as it is one of my favorite parts of the country. Check out our tour dates on peta2's MySpace and come dance!!!
Stay Sassy
