To celebrate its US release, peta2 wants to give YOU a copy of Majesco's Gardening Mama for Nintendo DS! Majesco's new Gardening Mama game helps you plant and raise your very own garden. Hopefully, this will game lead to the much-desired "Cooking Mama: Vegetarian Kitchen."

A while back, we created our own version of Majesco's Cooking Mama called Mama Kills Animals. Because of Cooking Mama's lack of vegetarian options, we showed you exactly how mama kills animals to make her meals.

All that aside, I can't get enough of Gardening Mama. My favorite thing to do is decorate my own garden. But this game also lets you do cool things like make jam out of the fruit you've grown and press flowers into albums.

For your chance to win a copy, just comment below with which game you'd like to see peta2 spoof next. Entries must be received by April 10th and the person with the most creative suggestion will be chosen and notified by April 13th.

Just so you know ... by commenting here, you're acknowledging that you've read and agreed to our privacy policy.

Also by commenting, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

GOOD LUCK!

Find Out First: Who Will peta2 Go After Next? December 3, 2008

Posted by Rachel-O at December 3, 2008 5:53 PM | Permalink | Comments ( 2 ) | TrackBack

PETA is notorious. Whether it's the Trollsen Twins, our new Cooking Mama game, or having pretty much the cutest mascot ever (Not a Nugget of course!). We're on the cutting edge of everything, and when you think animal rights, you think of PETA and peta2.

We launch campaigns against animal abusers, show undercover investigations into the institutions that exploit animals, and we have the best Street Team in the world—and most of all, we win—with your help, of course.

We're about to launch our new campaign against one of the biggest fur pushers out there, who makes millions off of animals being electrocuted, drowned, beaten and poisoned for their clothing line. We've tried contacting them, but they're heartless. We're done being patient, and we want your voice to be the first heard for the millions of animals killed every year to end up on someone's back. We want to tell you about the campaign before anyone else, so we're going to text it to you—but you have to sign up for our text alerts first!

So what are you waiting for? Sign up now to get the announcement before anyone else!

Stay loud!
-Rachel

peta2's New Parody Game: Mama Kills Animals November 17, 2008

I'm not what you'd call a video game junkie—mostly because I don't give myself the opportunity to be. I get sucked in too easily!

That aside, I absolutely love all the peta2 games we have! I know, I know, I'm probably a bit biased, but seriously, they're awesome. So I'm super-excited to get to tell you guys about our brand-new game! Mama Kills Animals is peta2's brand-new parody of the popular Nintendo game Cooking Mama.

In the game, you can pluck a turkey, chop off his head, stuff him, and more, all to help Mama prepare a Thanksgiving feast. But beware: Things will get bloody. What better time than right before Thanksgiving to get all your friends and family to play this game and see how gruesome it really is to "prepare" a turkey dinner?

So go on, play it now, then pass it on to everyone you know. And also, if you add this banner to your page, you can get 500 Street Team points if you e-mail the link to your page to StreetTeam@peta2.com.

Okay, so tell me, are you meaner than mama? Get playing to find out!

Marta

P.S. I hope you make it to the bonus level. You'll love it!
