Tofu Compact Mirror? September 14, 2009

I know I said this recently, but I never cease to be amazed by Street Teamers' creativity. Decorating your stuff to get out the vegetarian message is always a good idea, so when you come up with cute new ways to decorate your stuff, we all love it! 14-year-old Laken Brooks from North Carolina decided to decorate her compact mirror with a tofu design. Check it out!

Who wouldn't want to give tofu a try after seeing that cuteness? I asked Laken a few questions to let you get to know her better:

Are you vegetarian? Do you have any favorite vegetarian foods?
I'm a vegetarian, and have been so for around a year. I'm starting to make the transition to vegan, though, because I want to help animals in any way that I possibly can. If they can't help themselves, who can help them but us? My favorite vegetarian food would probably have to be grilled veggie dogs! Frozen blueberries are also one of my fave snacks.

What's your favorite peta2 campaign?
My favorite peta2 campaign would probably be Animal Testing Breaks Hearts. I love it because it made me realize that I could do a lot more to end animal suffering, like buying cruelty-free!

Laken's right—there's so much you can do to help end animal suffering. So why not get started now?
