This week has been a star studded week of support on the 10 for 10 tour! Can you think of a better deal than 10 bands for 10 dollars?

This week we were in Chicago, Grand Rapids, Sayreville, Clifton Park, and Worcester—home of our good friends, Bane, who we were able to catch breakfast with at Strong Hearts Café in Syracuse.

We also had Martin from Terror and Alex from Crime in Stereo sign our petition to get McDonald's to end its suppliers' cruelty to chickens. These a-holes slaughter about 9 billion chickens every year by hanging them in shackles by their legs and sending them to their harsh deaths by having their throats cut open with blades. Join peta2 and the 10 for 10 tour and sign to end this horrific treatment of wonderful animals!

Also once again our boy from Trapped Under Ice, Justice, was repping for the animals and sported our "Dog Fighters are Cowardly Scum" shirt at the show in Worcester.

When I first heard hardcore (Minor Threat or Bad Brains, anyone?), I fell in love with pretty much everything about the genre. The music was intense, the messages were positive, there were more vegetarians than any other music scene, and many were also straight edge. I no longer felt alone in my moral and ethical beliefs, and I had an army of kids behind me that felt the same way.

When I heard that peta2 was going to be sponsoring this summer's "10 for 10" Tour, I couldn't help but be excited. This "10 for 10" tour has a rotating lineup of some of the most legendary names in hardcore, and some newer bands that are getting hype too. These shows are bringing together different generations of hardcore fans under one roof in appreciation for the music and the scene—all for ten bucks. Shows like this are what makes hardcore great, and because animal rights has always been such a huge part of hardcore, it only makes sense that peta2 would be involved. Not wanting you to miss out on any of the fun, we want you guys to be involved too—that's why we're giving you the chance to win a "meet and greet" with a band that is listed as a favorite band by so many—BANE.
