Man, these past two weeks have been a whirlwind. With peta2's annual Most Vegan-Friendly Colleges competition in full swing, schools are battling it out head-to-head in a bout of epically delicious proportions.

The contest has taken many twists and turns—with more than a few upsets—as veggie powerhouses plow through the competition. Here are some highlights from the current standings:
- In the "Large U.S. Schools" bracket, the University of Colorado—Boulder and Colorado State University have both stood strong through the third round, where they face off in a regional rivalry that is shaking The Centennial State to its very core. Boulder serves us vegan pizzas, spicy barbecue tempeh, tofu scramble, and other tasty treats, but CSU isn't going down without a fight, offering seitan stir-fries, vegan chicken nuggets, and much more on the menu.
- Over in the "Small U.S. Schools" bracket, the top spot is up for grabs as last year's winner, Wesleyan University, was upset by the girl power of the all-female Smith College, which offers delectable dishes like vegan French toast, veggie meatball grinders, and dairy-free macaroni and cheese.
- And last (but certainly not least), the reigning Canadian bracket champion McMaster University is back again, facing off against a local hotshot, the University of Guelph, and bringing with it vegan soy beef quesadillas with chipotle eggless mayo dip and curried chickpea burritos that I can almost smell from here.
