As you've seen in my previous blogs, I'm a pretty big fan of the summer. I enjoy listening to some good tunes when I'm swimming and I enjoy a tasty smoothie. After I enjoy all of that, a nice, tasty kabob satisfies my belly. When I was told that this month's Recipe of the Week blogs are featuring kabobs, I knew I needed to make something with pineapple and barbeque sauce. So many possibilities, but here's what I came up with.

Here's you'll need:
- 1 small onion
- 1 small orange pepper
- 1 small red pepper
- 1 can/bag/or fresh pineapple (cut into cubes)
- 1 package of seitan (optional)
- BBQ sauce to your liking (for the seitan)
- Skewers, of course
I started out with having the seitan marinate in BBQ sauce for at least an hour. You can find seitan at most health food stores and several conventional grocery stores, too. Once that was done, I started chopping up all of the vegetables into bite-sized pieces and put everything on the skewers. I grilled my kabobs until they started to char, and that took about 8-10 minutes. I then let them cool for a couple of minutes, posed for a picture, and then got my grub on.
How tasty did your kabobs come out?

they came out awesome but i added mango to the mix it was reeeally good
yum
Sounds interesting, I like pineapple and barbeque sauce I'll give it a try!
The sweeter BBQ sauce tastes a lot smoother with the pineapple.
Yummy! I'll definately have to make these:)
Looks perfect<3
