Actor Kate Holmes arrived at The Extra Man premiere held at the Village East Cinema in New York City, New York on July 19, 2010. Kate wore a stripped red and blue dress with a simple pair of high heels but didn t get to show off her hot dress at the after party because she left the premiere through the side door early. It s rumored that Kate had to jump on a flight tonight back to Toronto to finish working on her latest film The Kennedy's which make this a quick trip home to New York just for the premier as she flew into town early this morning. … in her latest movie, The Extra Man. Katie plays the part of a dedicated vegan in this quirky indie flick, which revolves around the relationship between Holmes' character, Mary, and Louis, the carnivore who's crushing on her (played by Fast Food Nation's Paul Dano).

Mary works for an environmental magazine, and we all know that there's no such thing as a meat-eating environmentalist, so it all makes sense!
