David Desrosiers of Simple Plan
When he was younger, David worked at the McDonald's in his hometown in Quebec. As a former employee, David was appalled to hear that McDonald's executives are refusing to switch to a less cruel method of slaughter for the millions of chickens killed by their suppliers every year to be turned into nuggets and sandwiches. In a show of protest against his former employer, David sent a letter to the Group President of McDonald's Canada and Latin America urging that they demand their suppliers to switch to a less painful method of slaughter for chickens.

Hello, I'm from Brazil and I'm 19 years old, I am a vegetarian for over six years. I think there should be any kind of animal death, but even for us who consider ourselves so clever but the size of brutalities committed to take lives of innocent beings. I am a big fan of Simple Plan and do not think this would be the best solution, but congratulations David, you did something for innocent lives.
