I don't know about you guys, but when I hit the mall, H&M is one of the first places I go. H&M is known as an industry leader in all things stylish and cruelty-free—and they've recently made all compassionate shoppers even happier, by implementing a policy against selling all exotic skins! Because of this huge announcement, H&M is the recipient of our Company of the Year Proggy Award. H&M's announcement to no longer sell exotic skins came after we sent a copy of our new expose to the universally loved retailer. (Seriously, H&M is like apparel candy: affordable and deliciously fashionable, and I don't know anyone who doesn't love them.)
Millions of animals—including zebras, bison, water buffaloes, boars, deer, kangaroos, elephants, eels, sharks, dolphins, seals, walruses, frogs, crocodiles, lizards, and snakes—are slaughtered every year for the global leather industry. Check out peta2's new "Cold Blooded Fashion" video below, and take the pledge never to wear exotic skins now!

Many animals who are stripped of their skin for fashion are skinned alive and then tossed onto a pile where they writhe in pain until they succumb to shock or dehydration, while other animals sometimes live in agony for up to four days after they lose their flesh. H&M's new policy sends the message that kindness is always in style. Follow these companies' lead: Take our pledge and declare that the only skin you'll ever wear is your own!

Yeeeeeet my parents STILL wonder why I am losing hope for society, and why I hate most people.
Woohoo!
)
Pledge taken
i dont know why we cant all just rebal-go on a worldwide strike make a change in society immedatly as actitions are the only thing that seem to get through quicker and your always certain to get the desierd outcome or we all will be protesting and informing people for the rest of time and by the looks of soceity these days actition as big as strikes are needed, animals are in a worster postition then any human torture in history by far !
xx
It's a shame they still treat humans in an inhumane manor.
OMG. This is so disturbing!!!
This is truly aweful and makes me feel sick! Fashion has so many other ways it can capture consumers and consumers have so many other choices! Lets really do something about this and stop this cruel torture of these beautiful creatures! There are important issues to address in the world today, and animal cruelty is one that should be at the top. These retailers need to be exposed for what they are willingly buying, and I for one would like to do what I can to educate people on making wiser and cruelty-free purchasing decisions.
this is terrrrible
Wow. That just made me sick… I don't exactly want that new bag now… Pledge taken for sure.
this is insane! why would anybody even be able to live knowing theyv supported this! but wat i dont get is how can anyone even look in the mirror wearing something made from exotic animal skin.
Thanks PETA for using my investigation videos..
i'm so happy, can take this part too
Regards
Stop this cruelty now! Be a decent humane company…
