I feel like I say this a lot, but I really am stoked on all of the great albums that have come out lately. It's officially fall, my favorite time of year, and my soundtrack to the season is shaping up quite nicely! The new Paramore (which I know you've all entered to win, right?), The Avett Brothers, Frank Turner, and Brand New are all in heavy rotation. One album that I'm particularly in love with and couldn't wait to tell you guys about is Ups and Downsizing by The Swellers! From playing local hardcore shows in their home state of Michigan, to signing to Fueled By Ramen, to opening up for Paramore on their sold-out fall tour, The Swellers have quickly made a name for themselves.
I caught up with singer Nick Diener and drummer Jonathan at the Richmond, VA stop of the Gig Life Tour this summer to talk about why animal rights is important to them and the easy ways you can get involved.

The best thing about fall is Halloween! I hand out vegan candy, Peanut Butter Chews and Blow Pops(= AnD peta2 stickers! I love to watch old horror movies with my friends! Halloween is the best!

Gosh,I love the leaves for sure.I love the colors and the crunching noise they make when you step on them,ahh the best!!I guess Halloween is ok but I never eally know what to be but i love the candy.:D I love waring scarves and beenies during the fall.I love drinking iced coffee during cold months for some reason.:D

my favorite thing about fall is definitely the weather. i can't stand when it gets super hot in summer, which it very much is in socal, and i get cold easily so boo winter. but i still prefer being a little cold/cooler. so fall it is!
My favorite thing about fall is the gray sky that covers everything around here. It feels like a veil, making everything a little harder to see, and people a little harder to read. It takes the pressure off, I guess, with back to school and the terrible weather. At least the sky is sympathetic.

My favourite things about fall is the all the beautiful colours that come along with it. Also the weather. Its not too cold and yet not smoldering hot. Theres so much fashion trends that come with it too! Plus the sound of crunching leaves when you take a walk. Its so peaceful and beautiful!
