One-Minute Mission: Brookstone Call-In! October 1, 2009

Posted by Pulin Modi | Permalink | Comments ( 5 ) | TrackBack

Got one minute? Take part in our latest one-minute mission by making a polite phone call in behalf of animals by 4:30pm on Friday, October 2. Frogs dying for Brookstone's greed need your voice!

Call Brookstone at 603-577-8010 and ask to speak with CEO Philip Roizin. Politely tell him that you won't support a store that makes money off the suffering of animals by selling 'Frog-O-Spheres.' Imagine how you'd feel living your whole life crammed into a small container!

Despite stories and videos that shed light on Brookstone's shameful decision to sell frogs in tiny containers, the company's CEO keeps on hiding from the truth. Brookstone is profiting off cruelty, and that's just not acceptable. It's really that simple.

Call Brookstone at 603-577-8010 and make your voice heard. Better yet, get some of your friends and family to call too!

E-mail StreetTeam@peta2.com with a report on how your call went, and we'll give you 1,000 Street Team points!

Also, don't forget to get in touch if you're interested in handing out leaflets to put some pressure on Brookstone!

Thanks!

I called Philip Roizin's office. He was "out of the office" at the time. I left a message with his secretary telling him I was calling because of the article I'd seen on peta2's site. I told her it was disgusting and cruel and reminded him that Walgreen's and Target had both stopped the practice and inquired why he had not. She secretary was polite, however, I was disappointed that he wasn't available to speak to me directly. :( Hopefully by the end of the day tomorrow he will have LOTS of messages waiting for him. :)

Oh no! :(
I bought one of these frog aquariums from a different store because the frogs were so cute and I know that I can take care of them.

The lady at the store told me that they prefer small spaces and that's why they keep them in the cubes

IM SO GULLIBLE WHY DID I BUY IT :(

But my frogs are adorable and I feed them and change their water and Im really a good owner, maybe I should invest in buying them a bigger tank :)

Philip Roizin is no longer the CEO for brookstone. Its now Ron Boire. You should ask to speak to him. btw....the frog o spheres no longer carry snails...seems kinda strange since they were marketing the death trap aquariums as an *eco system* that required the snail to keep it clean...and now theyre reccomending the tank water be changed 4 times a year instead of 2...
