Why do you love peta2? It could be Hug a Vegetarian Day, Nugget, seeing us on Warped Tour, or because Meet Your Meat changed your life. It could also be just because our stickers are so effing adorable—we know, that's probably it!
Anyway, if you're on Facebook, you might've noticed the new tagging feature for your status updates and you probably know what we're thinking—another easy way to let all of your friends know about peta2 and animal rights!
Your new peta2 Minute Mission is to tag peta2 in your Facebook status and let everyone know why you love peta2! Obviously, you want to work some animal rights magic into this by sharing a Hug a Vegetarian Day link if that's your reason, or giving your friends a bit of information about animals that they may not know. For example: I <3 @peta2.com because my body is not a graveyard!
Remember, when typing your status update, make sure to type the "@" symbol, and a box will pop up for you to find peta2.com in—it's easy, quick, and will get your friends talking about animal rights. Copy and paste your status update and send it to us at StreetTeam@peta2.com and we'll give you 500 points just for tagging peta2!

I actually first found out about peta2 through the warp tour of 2008 when they were giving away free vegetarian starter kits. After I read it I became a vegetarian. I been a vegetarian since then! And I just love your guys closes and stickers! ^.^

I love peta2 because animals are here to show us all love and compassion. Not to be worn and killed to be eaten! Also, because animal cruility is the worst thing ever.

Peta2 is something that anyone can enjoy while reading. There is always something for everyone, even if your not a vegetarian, or vegan. Even if its just for the love oof animals :)
im a vegertarian, & iLOVE animals. this site is a selfless thing someone created for everyone! :D
i love peta2 because they try to save the animals that the government use for very cruel experiments. peta2 knows that animals have feelings just like humans and need someone to help them.

It's not all donating money and petitions, but it's got the cutest mascot nugget and it has all kinds of fun things to do while changing the world. It's a really amazing feeling to be a part of this organization.

Also PETA is different from most other animal protection websites because they all ask for money and most of the time young people do not have the money to give!!

I love peta2 and PETA and all the other peta's is because they showed me what actually happens to animals on fur farms,factory farms,labs,schools,rodeos etc.Thank You PETA!And as I am only 13 I showed my mother the videos of testing and rodeos etc and we have started to stop buying products like Crest,Clorox and other stuff!Thank You PETA!You guys ROCK THE ANIMAL WORLD!

Posted by: sarah at October 12, 2009 8:22 PMPeTA2 has always been there to understand that animals aren't little sacks of blood and meat for us to beat on, test on, work on, kill, shed, or any other kind of maiming that this world is so convinced that it has the right to do. there hasn't been a day that's gone by that i don't think about what kind of suffering an animal might be going thru right now and why. it's sick the way this world views and treats them. that's why PeTA2 is so comforting, to so many. PeTA2 isn't OF this world. it's fighting against the One evil people underestimate most, yet it is one of the Most serious and in need of fixing.

My mom's mother use to breed Springer Spaniels (a type of dog) when my mom was a highschooler like me. 3 years ago one of my friends told me about Peta2 and how the work SOOOOO EXTREMELY HARD to protect the rights of animals. he showed me the videos, the articles, and all the other horid thigs Peta2 has to educate us about. after seeing these, i started thinking about my 2 dogs Sooner and Boomer (both female) and how people do horid things to animals like them. instantly i fell in love with peta2. and have started telling people around me about peta2 and all it has to offer the world. So, I love Peta2 because of how it works to protect all the pets in my family and in the families of peoplei don't know.

I don't feel as left out on peta2. I feel peta2 was a whole family I just hadn't discovered yet... words cannot describe how over-joyed i feel. I've been made fun of for my vegetarian diets and habits my WHOLE life. I'm just happy to know there are fellow activists andd Animal FREAKS like me =] Keep up the good work! A surprising number of people I know just choose to think of animal rights as something none of their business, but peta2 is making a real difference out there for the rights of everybody, including our vulnerable animal community! This website NOT only stands up for animals, but it makes me think positive about me being vegetarian when other people i know dont understand and dont support me. This website also provides us with so many GREAT things!!! Free things, fun games, blogs for actually meeting millions of people who care for animals just like me.
