frogs Brookstone Frog-O-Sphere
For whatever reason, the people at Brookstone refuse to stop selling those ridiculous "Frog-O-Spheres," so we've made some leaflets to help step up the pressure and raise awareness to employees and potential customers.

Download your leaflets here.
We're happy to send free leaflets to those of you who are willing to hand out a few, and if you're in California you have the legal right to hand out these leaflets inside the mall once you clear it with the mall management to get a location and details figured out. Drop us a line if you need any tips or free leaflets (just be sure to include your mailing info), and let us know how it goes so we can give you Street Team points for getting active with this campaign!
And don't forget to call Brookstone at 603-880-9500 and enter extension 6826 once the automated system picks up. Make sure they know that living, breathing animals do not belong in a store next to random gadgets or anywhere other than their natural environment!
I mean, can anyone really say that these frogs are being properly taken care of?

This is sad. I recently returned from a trip to Costa Rica witnessing wildlife and amphibians in their natural habitat. Amphibians are made to move many distances not just move around in a bowl, similar to whales and dolphins in captivity for entertainment. There should be a global ban on importing and exporting of any wildlife.

Posted by: cassie at September 30, 2009 10:36 AMI can't help but want to buy them just so I can attempt to give them a better environment to live in. This is terrible, it just breaks my heart. I definitely won't be shopping there anymore and I will voice my concerns.

Heads up: By signing up here and giving us your details, we're taking that as acknowledgment that you've read and agreed to our privacy policy.

that is really depressing :( especially the video... they sent the frog in the mail and it came in literally an INCH of water. amphibians deserve love too! how can people be okay with getting pets knowing it involves them being abused/mistreated? it's such a selfish thing.
