Have you told Brookstone what you think of the "Frog-O-Sphere" yet? The "Frog-O-Sphere" is the tiny prison where the store is keeping frogs, while making money off of telling people they can keep these animals in the tiny boxes while barely taking care of them.
The company sets a great standard by taking injured and sick frogs to the backroom to languish and die instead of calling a vet—and ignoring their own employee's concerns over the lack of care for the animals.

These imprisoned little animals need your help. Please keep the pressure on Brookstone to do the right thing and stop selling live animals. If you haven't already, please take a moment to call Brookstone and ask that it stop selling live animals. Call 603-880-9500 and enter extension 6826 once the automated system picks up. This is really sick. How can they do this and not care about the Animals? They need to be stoped. I really hope they stop selling the Frogs! or any live Animals!

Brookstone! What are you thinking? Must we torture animals anymore than is already done, please don't sell out by selling these poor creatures. Please don't do this.
Places like this really should never sell live animals in tiny cages, it's just cruel. In fact, nobody should ever sell exotic pets in tiny glass domes. And plus, who in the world wants a little suffering frog in their house? Not me. :-(
Posted by: Greta at September 9, 2009 7:54 AMI worked at the brrokstone at lakeline mall in austin and i was very against the frog o spheres when we got them in stock. in all honesty though, we did take care of the frogs and made sure they were as happy as they could be since there wasnt anything else we could do for them. we couldnt free them because they arent native but we made sure they had a good life with us. regardless.. everyone keep calling corporate and make them stop selling the frog o spheres
