Yea that video was deff "Messed up". People are deff "Messed up" Who ever watches that and dosen't think its "messed up" is "messed up" The fact that its so bloody and cruel and gorey that it seems like it would ba horror movie is "messed up" everything is just "messed up"

The things that stuck out to me in this movie was where the rabbits or whatever they were were getting skinned by machines which isnt good because as i goes on more and more machines will replace more and more people until no one is working there anymore and then more and more people won't care about well at least not think about it

also the cow that was trying to back up and go back the other way he just looked so terrified and if you looked at his eyes he just looked so sad it mademe want to cry even though it might not seem like the wors part in the movie it was just really touching and it kind of reminded me of my great dane lurch who we just had to put down like a month ago cause he had bone cancer

also was the cow who got his throat slit puking? cause just after the blood starts to run you see another colored liquid coming from his nose/mouth area

It's just not okay that humans go to the grocery store, walk through the "meat" or "deli" section and think, 'Oh that looks like a nice thing for dinner', when the things in this video are happening in order for millions of ignorant people like them to feed their bodies with unneccessary flesh.

This is DEFINITELY why I am vegetarian. So many people turn a blind eye to this reality. I wish more would open their eyes and see the meat industry for what it is. Animals are my friends and I could NEVER do that to a friend (or even an enemy for that matter)

Tears welled in my eyes as I watched this. Meat is cruel and disgusting. This is exactly why I am a vegetarian now. It's so messed up. Humans use animals for their own pleasures, and it needs to stop. Animals, like us, have joy, love, goals, and dreams....they are human and have souls, yet man screws their lives up and does shit to them that makes me angry. I have always hated humans, not those who do good, but those who hurt the world.

The nonchalanche of the workers shows that they have effectively sheltered their souls from the living. It is the same process for de-humanizing everything and everyone to make it more palatable to carry out torture and killing. This is what governments teach and militaries thrive on. There are few true warriors out there who actually respect that which they kill. This was the olde way before conquest was the ideal. Conquest has to ALWAYS shelter and hide the soul from truth.

The shopper at the grocer is sheltered from seeing the reality of the slaughterhouse by thin wrap and clean counter.

Especially in our modern culture, we are far removed from the death floors and killing fields. The Vietnam War would have went on much longer if it hadn't been televised. Have you noticed we get less graphic television (not including cable) on the Iraq War?

I will likely never be full on Vegan (although i respect the choice of those who are), but i pledge to continue to be more aware of my dietary choices and not allow my soul to hide from the truth.

These choices should not be made because of what is "hip" or fashionable. This mentality doesn't last. It needs to come from the core being. It needs to come from a place of love and understanding. Definately not from inflated ego or pretension.

There are many alternatives available today to make better choices. One way? Know your producers. Buy local wherever possible. It doesn't cost much more than the crap people insist is a better deal. Shop around. Do your part and eventually all the parts will join.

I cried when I watched that. Poor babies! How can we think its EVER okay to torture and kill innocent animals? I agree that anyone who can see what these animals go through and still eat meat, use products that have tested on animals or wear leather/fur have serious issues. I understand and respect the food chain, but in nature animals are not confined to a cell and force fed chemicals to make them fatter. They are killed after a life of freedom, that is the way nature intended.
If only there was a way to convince everyone to go vegetarian/vegan and put an end to this cruelty.
