Canada Cobra Starship tour planting trees
Hey friends! It's Joey from out on Warped to catch you up on some of the fun we've been having as we head into our last 5 days of the tour. While in Canada last week, we made a special trip to KFC to dive into some yummy veggie chicken (sub out the mayo for ketchup or BBQ sauce and ask for it on a wrap to make it vegan—it's delicious!). For those of you that don't know, last year the company that coordinates the purchase of chickens for KFCs in Canada finally submitted to demands asking them to have suppliers use the less cruel method of slaughter, Controlled Atmosphere Killing, which is the same method Daniel and his crew were advocating last weekend with the McCruelty campaign. If all this sounds good to you and you want this to happen in America too, check this out!
We also spent part of our last day off in Monterey, CA, planting trees and digging up weeds that are harmful to the area. There's no better way to spend part of your day than cleaning up our environment.

Well I'll hand the last part of this blog off to Heather on the Cobra Starship tour. We have 5 more shows left in California before Warped Tour 2009 is over. We hope to see you all there!
Hiiii! So, I mentioned before that the whole theme of this Cobra tour was small shows, small venues, and lots of people being able to reach out and touch each other. What I didn't know then was that also meant HUGE support for our Animal Testing Breaks Hearts campaign. I should have figured—Cobra fans are legendary for their love of three things: neon colors, Gabe Saporta, and peta2.

We have already gotten e-mails and comments from new friends who attended the show, hung out for a bit, watched our awesome DVD featuring Cobra Starship, Silverstein and more, then went veg. So exciting.
Even more exciting: the smaller the show, the less behind the scenes stuff I have to do and the more time I have to talk to you! So I get to be the first Road Warrior blogger to post a picture of herself!!!

Yep, that's me. Taking on the masses. Check out the face on the girl in the middle! She's totally like, "What the friggin' hell? How could anybody ever put caustic chemicals in a bunny's eye and leave it there to blind them? Those mothertruckers can KISS MY SASS!"
