I would say how? How can you possibly do such horrible things to the most innocent creatures on earth? How can your heart not break when you hear them cry out? How can you keep this heart wrenching cycle going, with the knowledge that it is in no way necessary? How can you stand to be part of something so cruel and barbaric? How can you be so merciless and inhumane? I doubt they would be able to answer even one of these questions, and I wish I could say something that would make them stop, but if they can stand to look in the faces of those poor animals and haven't stopped already, is no hope for them. All we can do is fight them and animal testing.

you do know that most of the animals you test on have a considerable gene difference from us. you usingg them is pretty pointless. you want to waste the lives of millions of animals for guess work. just because it works on them doesnt mean itll work on us. there is absoulutly no reason, at all, to be testing on helpess animals when you could simply get a human, im sure tons of vegitarians and vegans, including me, would line up to help stop YOUR cruelty. its also a waste on our economy, you say you whant to help people? well why not actually do that by hiring people, hundreds of people are getting laid off daily, help them take care of their families by bring in a little extra money. it doesnt have to be a lott. so next time, think about that poor little mouse your injecting with an unatural cancer that is going to kill it. because in the future, it could be you we use.

how can you do this!? i would make them look in the eyes of the whimpering undefenceless animals and try to make them understand how unnessicary and inhumane it is. if i was them i wouldnt be able to stand another day knowing how much pain i have caused.

My mother and aunt are both breast cancer survivors and while I appreciate modern medicine for saving their lives, I do not agree with the manner in which their research is conducted. I'm passing info on this campaign on to my friends and I hope we can make progress in irradicating the disease without hurting animals!

I support Breast Cancer Research, as many women in my family are breast cancer survivors, BUT there's absolutely no need to test on animals when cancer patients are more than willing to try ANYTHING that may make them better. Test on human volunteers, not animals who have no choice.

If people want cures they can volunteer to help find them. There are always people willing to participate in these trials, so why not use test subjects that have chosen to take part, rather than subjecting animals to this torture without giving them a choice.

I don't understand the thoughts running through your head when you harm and test innocent animals. They have no say on what you to do them, yet you still probe, analyze, and drug them. It's a shame to say there are still people in this world that are willing to hurt an animal, as long as it doesn't affect them. To see some of the things you do to these animals, just makes my stomach churn. You don't deserve the credit you get for being a scientist when you are doing as much harm, as you are good.

If I ever came upon an annimal experimentist I'd first off have to sit them down because the tongue lashing I'd give them would whisk them off their feet otherwise. I'd start off by asking them if they would like to test deathly poisens on their children. Would they feel alright if someone injected their pet cat with needles until the thing looked like a pin cushion. Basically go all out with everything, multiple questions on the various torturous things they do daily to animals and instead ask them if they could do them do someone they love, care for, and trust. And if they had the heart to say that they could deal with that then I'd turn the conversation on themselves. How could hearted are they? Do they even have sympathy or any emotion other than that of hatred for life because all they do is kill and torture innocents. And yet if that still didn't bother them I'd ask them if they'd like to be tested, strapped down on a flat board and cut open, injected with things that shouldn't yet be used on humans, that could make them lose brain functions, suffer numerous hours of pain and even die. Honestly then, if this person had felt nothing than they aren't even worth a breath on this earth in my eyes.

Our experiments and research are to enhance our civilization which includes protecting our environment which includes humans, animals and other natural living beings. It is wrong and cruel to experiment on any living being against their will. Innocent animals are here on earth to live and be free to enjoy their lives!

Can I ask you something? Every time you give an animal another test does it bother you? Or do you have NO feelings at all? I can't imagine that when you look into an animals eyes, no matter what animal it is, monkey, dog, cat, or even a rat, you don't feel any of their pain. You know they are hurting and your saying you don't care? I know you do. And unlike animals you can tell us when your sad. So tell us, and we will liste. Tell us and stop abusing animals. It's not right to abuse humans and it's not right to abuse animals. Deep down, I know you know this.

I would ask the experimenter why he thought animals don't count. Why those living beings with thoughts and feelings who are capable of having complex relationships don't count when it comes to deserving kindness and respect. I would then ask how many animals he has killed and if he ever felt remorse for it. Animals do not belong to humans. Humans can do whatever they want to houses, cars, toys, property, and other material things because none of those things can think or feel. We cannot, however, use animals in any way we see fitting because they do not belong to us and it is WRONG to harm them. It's wrong to separate them from their social lives and make them live in little cages. It's wrong to stick tubes and needles in them and act like their suffering doesn't matter. Experimenting on animals is WRONG!

a) Why do you do this? What would make you want to? Do you like hurting animals? Wait nevermind, I can answer that myself:yes you do! Wouldn't it be better if someone that money you waste was used to help the world? I mean yes, you are trying to cure cancer [or whatever that one does], but how often do you actually cure cancer in humans? Sure, mice maybe, but not humans. THEY ARE DIFFERENT. I am sure there would be some people willing to get tested on to help cure their cancer. Why use animals when they are helpless and cannot help since they are different? How would you like it? You wouldn't test things on your own pets if you knew it might hurt them so why are you doing it to other innocent animals, just because they don't have an owner? Maybe they haven't had a chance to find an owner that loves them because you wont give them the chance.

I would say "How can you ever do something so horrible to a poor little animal? Its not right! How would you feel if someone started testing a product on you that could possibly kill you? and without your consent! And the products are not made for them they are made for HUMANS. Are animals humans? No! They have a completely different anatomy and wont react the same way humans would. So give me one good reason why you do this. Even though i wont believe any of your excuses."

I would probably go over the basic, oh well if they were doing that to you then you wouldn't like it. Then I would ask if they had a pet and if they did I would say like, Oh what if they took your dog or cat and used them for testing and you had to have it suffer everyday just so you can see if something as stupid as hairspray is harmful to humans.

How could you look into a living creature's eyes, with all the pain, sorrow and hardships you put them through and still sleep soundly at night? How would you feel if you looked into your significant other's / children's / parent's eyes and saw the same sadness? You'd want to take on the world just to make them feel better, right? That's what I'm here for, because they don't have anyone else willing to do that for them, I'm their significant other, parent, child, whatever you want to label me, but it's me who, at the end of the day, will always fight for them endlessly.

"If an animal accidentally eats a medicine, such as aspirin, they can seize and die. We obviously take aspirin without any problem, so how the hell do you think that testing medicines on animals can give you any idea that it will work on humans? Because if you do, i pity them, for having to live with a heartless being like you. I would ask them if they had kids, and then tell them to picture their child in place of the animals that they're testing on. Maybe that would help trigger some sort of passion in them to help get them to realize that what they're doing is absolutely ludicris and incredibly inhumane.

I can completely understand why you do what you do, and I understand why the people who support it do so. It is less expensive, and it is a lot easier. But I think you should take the time to think about what you actually are doing. You're confining this animal into a space it cannot move around in, subjecting it to horrible treatments and ghastly side effects, and for what? Animals' DNA is different than human DNA. What may harm a rat or a cat may not harm a human being. I think you need to think long and hard before you go back into work. Think about the animal you test on as a life, and as a soul, and see what you do.

I have always wondered what exactly are the differences between people and animals.
Besides the appearance, how are we different?
We have faces, so do they.
We have to beathe and eat.
So do they.
We put ourselves first in everything, but we also have the ability to want the happiness of others just as our own.
Can you say that animals don't?
Can you say that they don't feel pain as we do
or have empathy and passion just as we do?
Would you test on humans?
If you answer with a NO than why not?
If your answer is a YES, then why don't we test on you?
Animal testing is for the greater good, you say,
but in that case, why don't we test harmful, painful, unbearable substances on you and see how you would like that.
I believe that animal testing is wrong becasue in our case, we get a choice to get tested on or not, and animals do not.
Eventhough they may not be able to complain to the pain you are causing them, it does not make it right.

I wouldn't attack them, instead I would try to see how they feel about the issue. Such as saying "Do you have any pets at home? If so is it ever hard for you to do your "job"? Have you ever tried thinking how horrible you would feel if your own little innocent pets were nothing more then lab tests? How do you deal with the suffering of those animals? Do you ever have a hard time handling the screaming and crying of the animals? Do you ever get embarrassed when people ask what your job is? Do you stay quiet or do you just tell them? How does your family and children feel about your job? Have you ever tried to ensure that fewer animals are tested on? Have you ever killed an animal just to put it out of it's suffering? Do you ever form any kind of bond with any of the animals? How do you deal with inflicting pain upon it once the bond is made? Do you ever try to imagine how you would feel if you were in the animals shoes?" Those are some of the things I would ask the tester.

Your such a man(or women)! Your just such a great person testing on animals, for what? Personal satisfaction? A cure? Do you realize that by doing so you harm innocent animals? I bet you never thought about how testing on these affects daily lives of not only the animals, but the people of the animals. Animals having feelings just as much as a real person does. How would you feel if I needed to make sure that my makeup (or something ridiculous like that) was safe so I tested on your wife/husband, and or kid(s). And what if in the process of doing so they got hurt or died? People like you don't think about their actions and kill several innocent animals. Well no longer! I'd rather kill myself, then harm an animal. I don't know how you sleep at night. Stop the abuse. I understand that cancer and such need cures, my Grandmother has had several types of cancer, but regardless the cure needs another way to be found. Animals do not need to suffer every time you THINK you've found a cure. They're are other ways to get the job done. Not using animals in this test is just a minor set back to finding the cure. You and the people you work with should really consider the animals, risks you put them through, and everything else that comes with the cure. And if you continue this work I'm 150% sure that me and hundred even thousands of PETA supporters will here, and will put an end to this!

Every time I hear about animal testing, I think about a book I once read called "Hurt Go Happy".

It was about a deaf girl who befriended a chimpanzee. The chimp was eventually taken away and was experimented and tested on in a cosmetic lab. So the girl found the lab and went in and found the chimp (who was in poor condition from the testing), and the girl told the lab tech, "Chimpanzee's are 99.9% human. That's more human than you people are."

So that's what I'd probably tell them. These poor animals are NOT supposed to be tested and experimented on. It's cruel and inhumane.

Considering the advancements in ethology, we have discovered the incredible emotional intelligence of the animals that are tested on. They have the capacity to feel, and to think. It should then, by ethical means, be prudent that we find alternative ways to test medications, and other such things. It's also important to note, that psychologically speaking, those who engage in harmful practices to animals have a larger chance of becoming domestic abusers and murderers. Studies have shown that domestic abusers, rapists, and murderers have a history of animal torture. It would be better for science, for humans, and for animals to reduce, and eventually eliminate the practice of animal testing.

You have to be calm about talking to them. If you're rude and obnoxious, that does nothing for the animals. It just makes them think all animal activists are nut jobs (which certainly is NOT true). I would ask them, calmly and politely, why they test on animals, harming them defenselessly, and not alternatives, like other companies test on.

What justification does mankind have to say that they are allowed to use animals for their inhuman actions? what makes it known that animals don't have anything to live for? The human race has all the power and technology and we use it to show authority rather than show our compassion. If the animal has the same internal makeup as a human, and knowing the repercussions that follow in testing different treatments to the same organs a human has... why does it make it ok to bring it upon another life that isn't yours. i understand your passion for a cure, but it shows more passion if you reach for other alternatives rather than sacrificing a life that is not your own or doing so without having consent of the other "patient". We were put on this planet in harmony and as equals, and we are all amazing creations, there is no concrete evidence that what you are doing it right.

Would you let your pet be tested on?

I took quite a few biology and genetic classes in high school, and now I'm an animal science major at Michigan State University. I'm having a hard time understanding how on Earth you can legitimately think that the testing being done on those poor defenseless animals is comparable to how the treatment would be received by humans. Rats and people have totally different immune and organ systems; you can't honestly believe that this testing isn't totally useless!
There are plenty of alternatives to animal testing; these guys can't even speak up for themselves, so someone has to be their voice! Breasts not animal tests!

Would you torture your kids by doing human testing? Don't test on animals!!!

I know how it feels to lose someone to breast cancer. And yet I still don't feel it is nessisary to conduct experiments on animals. For one animals have different tissues and are going to react differently than humans to certain drugs. And another thing is why infect more living creatures with cancer than there already are. Why can't you just conduct these experiments on people who are already infected? It's a harsh reality but if you conduct these experiments on people who already have cancer and they get worse, well I mean they were already going to die. So why risk more lives, wether it be a human or a poor defensless animal.

What would I say to an animal experimenter? I'd be too angry for words! But if I did manage to speak I'd say "You are a murderer and torturer of the innocent, one day Karma will get you, in this life or the next".

All those test against your will with little to no food or interaction? Wallowing in your own missery and excrament? Would you approve of this if it was human? you have feelings, right? you feel when you're scared or something hurts really bad. so do they. i wish i could stick you in a cage and poke and prod you with radioactive chemicals, like you do to them.

It might seem to make sense to test new medical procedures on animals because while they are living breathing beings they aren't humans, and because they aren't human nothing wrong is being done. But it is quite the contrary. Animals of any kind react very differently than humans do to different kinds of medications so while you may have cured cancer in mice you clearly have made no headway in humans. Oh and also if you pump a mouse with an elephants dose you are bound to get favorable results.

I would be like, "so, do you have any pets of your own at home with you? Yeah? Do you abuse those animals too? No? You wouldn't do that to your pets you say? Well what are the differences from the animals in the lab, to your animals at home? I believe each animal should be treated equally and with respect, not like a piece of trash. Anyone who does that to an animal shouldn't have the right to keep one as their "pet". I will not support any companies that test on animals or continue to use them in any experiments that cause pain and harm."

Testing on animals to save humans, (despite being a horribly atrocious crime against those innocent lives) makes you look like the dumb ones, and as far as evolution goes, with survival of the fittest comes survival of the smartest, we hopefully won't have to deal with you all for much longer!

I would say, "Animals and humans are completely different in their chemical make up. Just because a mouse or some other animal reacts to the many harmful and painful chemicals in a way that may possibly signify you're coming closer to a cure for cancer, does not mean a human will react as they do. You're putting animals through unbelievable pain and torture for no reason. I understand you want to find a cure for cancer; my grandmother is suffering from breast cancer as we speak and I would love for a cure to be found. But, testing on animals is not the way to do so. Why don't you put yourself in the tiny cages you keep the many mice in, and pump yourself with all those different chemicals? After that I want you to tell me that you still stand behind what you are doing. Maybe if you had some type of passion in your hearts for the animals you are hurting then you'd actually stop and spend your time finding a reliable and realistic way to help to cure cancer."

I can't believe you can sleep at night in your big comfortable bed with your family, if you have one. Knowing damn well that you just left an office full of shivering, confused animals, used for nothing more than tests to help the assholes in this world.

Why do we test on animals, they are genetically different, and unlike humans innocent in all ways.

Why do we take the inoccent and stab at them with needles, prod at their brains, leave them on the hard floor of their cages as you leave the office to go grab a coffee, and chat with friends like nothing ever happened.

We have prisons full of child molestors, murderers, and flat out sick people.

Yes, testing is necessary, but not on animals. It may be cheaper monetarily to use animals, but what about spiritually? All those lives, all that pain-- how do you live with yourself at the end of the day? Don't you ever think of what those animals are going through while you're laying warm in your bed? There are alternatives to animal testing, and they're only more expensive because they are more effective- the tissue is closer to the biological makeup of humans than any animal is. Stop the harassment, stop the pain, stop the torture. Open your eyes and learn some compassion for these poor animals who have no way to help themselves.

Animal testing is wrong, it is cruel and degrading to animals. You should be put in that animals place and have the testing done and experience first hand the pain, torture, destruction of the animals mind and body. You know perfectly well that humans and lab rats have vastly different genetic structures, so I'm not going to give you a science lesson. I just want to know why you would knowingly and willingly give an animal cancer, just so you can cure it. There are so many people out there with terminal cases of cancer who would jump at the chance to help find a cure. Why damage lives? You're supposed to be trying to save them.

I and dozens of people at my high school shaved their head for children's cancer. Do you have kids? Would you kill your own child for their skin or to eat? I didn't think so. So you shouldn't do it to poor, innocent animals. They have feelings and families like you and me.

Oh there are many things I would LOVE to tell an animal experimenter. I would start off asking them why they would torture an animal in a laboratory, then go home to a similar animal and shower it with love. Next I would mention the statistics regarding the number of animal tests that fail in human studies and that their pain and suffering is just like ours, but our similarities end there. As they are 'scientists,' I would let them once know again all of the animals tested on have nervous systems and because of it they are able to feel pain and suffering as we do. The end the conversation telling the researchers about Bobo, an ape taught sign language who was unfortunate enough to end up in a lab, but even after being separated from her trainer for 10 years, she still recognized her friend, signing both of their names during a surprise visit. When her trainer left, she very obviously was upset, shrinking back into her cage and looking down. If that isn't evidence she was depressed, I don't know what is. All animals in labs feel this way, and with all of the humane alternatives, they are suffering needlessly.

To put it simply, I wouldn't have a go at these people, but perhaps ask them why they are still bothering with research that doesn't work. I can't condone them anymore, not since my Mum came down with breast cancer, but I can ask them why they are funding projects that aren't helping her in any way whatsoever, and so there is no justification in their behaviour, all this money is being wasted not helping people, I would just ask them why they don't try something new that might hurt less animals and help more people like my Mum!

Things that are toxic to us may have no effect on them, and vice versa. Thousands of medicines are recalled due to the fact that they had different effects on the animals then they did on the humans. You should also know, from being the "bigshot scientest" that you are, that there are many other easier, and more effective ways to test out these cures. For all you know, you've already found it, and it isn't working on these animals, like it would on us. I'm not saying that breast cancer isn't a big deal. I'm not saying it's not important, trust me, my grandma had it, and there was a period of time when we believed my mom had it. But what I'm trying to say is that there are so many better ways that wouldn't sacrifice an animal's life to potentially save our own."

Even if you don't believe in re-birth, there is a force known as karma. Treat others how you wish to be treated and the favor is returned. How would you like this "favor" to be returned to you or your loved ones? Even in the metaphysical world they say every action has an equal if not stronger reaction. That is karma, that is your future.

So, how are we doing in solving cancer on mouse boobies? Cancer that you gave those animals, that they suffer from needlessly everyday along with all the suffering inflicted upon them in cruel, painful tests and from lack of social interaction, proper habitat, and care. When you gonna take that research money and stop the torture and start doing some real breast cancer research on how it affects the people living and dying from this diesease every day? Hasn't cancer caused enough suffering, do you really need to create some more?

I would say how can you live with yourself after being cruel to animals. They feel like we do. They feel pain also. These creatures were put on earth to be loved too, not tortured. Why don't you test this crap on yourself first and see how you feel.

I would ask them how they could harm an innocent animal. I would also simply ask if they had a favorite animal as a little kid. And how, if they cared, they could do it. Give them something to think about.

The most they do to us, is give us a little scare, or chew threw our walls. Bad? They're hungry. We dig through their dirt, whats the difference? You're a coward if you think the value of ANY animals life is less than that of a humans."

Animal testing is the only way they can be sure that the product is safe right?

There are many ways to test and see. There are times like today where i read on the back of a product to, TEST IT ON YOURSELF TO MAKE SURE YOUR NOT ALLERGIC. If we still have to do that then what was the point of testing it on an animal?! people still break out,get rashes, skin swelling,etc. Testing animals dosent only hurt the animal but it damages their mind, It's like gathering humans and putting them in labs against their will to be tested on ! The only reason why they do it is because the animals are helpless they cant fight or talk. So, we have 2 do it for them. Animal testing ot only breaks the animals spirit but it breaks the heart of ALL animal lovers. It dosent feel good when you get hurt does it? think of a situatuion when you were in so much pain that you couldnt bear it and you HAD to get help or else.....now imagine going through that pain and no one is there to help you and you are left there to die...ANIMAL TESTING IS WRONG!

I really don't know how you think testing on animals to essentially "cure" cancer is justified? I, like anyone else, see how important research to end the suffering of human beings with this horrible illness is; but how can one say that we as a species are superior to any other? In order to decrease the suffering of our species, you make other species suffer. I for one, do not see how such a practice is acceptable. I admit, I have the boobs of a healthy woman, but if I didn't I wouldn't want to attempt to counteract my suffering by doing such a horrible feat; My wellness and diagnosis would lay in the hands of god, while the wellness of the animals with which are being used to find a cure, would fall in my hands. Well, obviously there is not some sort of ethics test to become a scientist because if there were, you wouldn't be able to become one. Could you test on your own pet? Could you strap your animal to a cold, metal table and implant chips into it's brain while it is still conscious and able to feel pain? Could you do that to your CHILD? If you don't think you could then you shouldn't be doing what you are doing to these animals. They are completely able to feel as much as you and I both do yet you torture them as though they are inanimate objects that can not feel anything. You are quite a heartless person and what goes around comes around so if I were you, I would change my actions and hope that what comes back around isn't as severe as what you have done. And I hope that when you are much older and you look back on your life, you feel terrible about what you have done.

I wouldn't have anything to "say" to a person who experiments on animals. But they'd DEFINITELY understand that I hate them. I don't really hate many people, but people who test on animals deserve all the pain they've given to those poor animals but tripled. At the minimum.

I would remind them of a lot of facts; how animals feel the same amount of pain as humans do and how wring it is to use them as mere objects for test that do not even work. I would also tell them that animals have souls and are innocent and it is our job, as humans to protect the from all types of harm, not to make them suffer. I would make them realize that they are giving cancer to innocent lives and making them suffer and go through a lot of pain. I would tell them to focus on real alternatives that actually work for cures. Animals need to stop being used! People need to stop the useless and time wasting tests that only put animals through so much pain and focus on finding cures without using animals and that are not working. Just like humans, animals ado not deserve to go through and pain, any agony, and any suffering. We should make sure that no human or animal has to suffer from cancer, this should be your main goal!

If I came face to face with a animal tester, I would say, "I have four cats, and when I look in their eyes, I don't think 'hmmm, I wonder what would happen if I pumped their insides with chemicals that would kill them.' I look in their eyes and cherish every moment I have with them. Because, if I killed animals, and knew that it could be not needed, I couldn't live with myself. Animals are living beings, and I can't kill living beings. What aspires you to do such things?"

The thought of a whimpering, poor, defensless animal cringing at my every action makes me sick. Dont they see the fear in the animals eyes when they inject it full of possably harmful chemicals. What gave humans the rights to control other living creatures. They are no different than us and feel pain as we do, feel fear as we fear it, and cry in agony as we do. The only difference between us is that they cannot be heard, they cannot resist. Just because they cannot tell you to stop, doesn't mean you should take advantage of them. it makes me cringe when i see the cruelty being inflicted on these poor friends of ours. if we are so far in human research that we can make clones of our bodies then why cant they find a substitute for animal cruelty, its a waste of money and a waste of life. Well, for one, I would probably ask them what they actually do. Its possible they are not aware of the risks and harmful tasks that they or employees they work for. It isn't as if I could start yelling and screaming at this person when they aren't aware of what they are actually doing.

I would ask them how they would feel if their children, or nieces, or nephews were put through cruel animal testing. Like us, animals are children of mother earth and were not born to be subjected to such horrid actions.
Animal testing serves no purpose since products are recalled due to adverse reactions because humans and animals are different.
Just because it is cheaper to test an animal does not mean that its right or proper. Its wasteful, harmful, and more expensive in the end.

I would tell them that they might view animals as disposable and the product result more valuable, but that their behaviors reflect that they are lacking a moral conviction that all humans should respect and practice. Animals can't speak for themselves. We, as humans, can. If you have cured mice of cancer and it didn't work on humans why on earth do you keep testing on them? A rats body is different from a humans body and they react to medicine differently. Listen up, not only will animal testing cause the animal a large amount of pain but it is also WRONG. Its animal cruelty. Animals aren't like us humans. If something is hurting humans we could fight back or at least yell out for help. But wait, animals can't do that. They can't fight back like we can. That is the reason why I need to be that animals voice. What you are doing to these animals is cruel, heartless, horrible, and 100% wrong. My point is that animals are defenseless and they can't do anything to tell you it hurts, they can't fight, they can't tell you to stop. But I can do something. So stop doing this, its disgusting, depressing, and its MURDER. I want to fight for these animals and give them a voice that everyone will hear!

First off, I'd sit them down with a nice icy vegan beer. Then I'd offer them something crunchy to snack on. Then, I'd ask them how they like their beer. Delish, right? I'd ask them how awesome it feels to indulge in life's pleasures. I'd grin very large and then ask if every living creature is entitled to indulge in a fulfilling life and wait to hear the reply. When they answer yes, I'd ask why they don't let their creatures live this type of life. Why it's so easy to sit here and drink a beer while probably an hour ago, they were shoving chemicals into a creatures body, completely erasing any chance of that creature having a fulfilling life.

I would ask them why? Why would you ever hurt an innocent, defenseless animal? What good comes of it? Does it bring you joy to see him or her writhing in pain and sadness because you don't have enough decency to protect it rather than hurt it? How would you feel giving birth to a child that was forced into you just to know it will be shipped off to some lab and tested on until it dies? Would you want that for your child? I doubt it, so why do you want that for the children of all of animals you breed to kill? What about God, for those of you who believe in him, do you think he approves of you murdering his creations? Do you think you'll be treated any differently when it comes to your judgment day for murdering animals than for killing a human? Once again I doubt it. On another hand humans an animals are NOT THE SAME! They will most likely react differently to everything you are testing and how will that help people? Say it works on a rat or a bunny.... they are rodents. I HIGHLY doubt that rodents and people have the same issues. And the few things our genetic makeup does share probably won't make the testing anymore useful. All I'm saying is that you need to show a little love to those little sweeties that didn't nothing to you!

I'd say to those jerks: It'd be one thing if what you were testing on animals was MEANT for the animals, but since that NEVER happens, it's just wrong! If you need to test how harmful something might be, why are you trying to sell it in the first place? If there's a chance that the newest cosmetic item is going to give people cancer, then why are you taking that risk? How do you sleep at night knowing you've caused so many defenseless and innocent animals harm just so you can make money? Where are your morals? How would you feel if you were the animal? You'd be scared out of your mind. When cats and dogs are abused, it's illegal. When lab rats and other test animals are being used for horrible and inhumane tests, it's called "research". Do you have pets? If you do, would you let any of them be used in the name of "research"?

I would ask them if they had many pets at home and if not tell them that they should get one just to see what kind of a life they are giving up and if they do I would ask them if they would appreciate me taking their animal's life to test on them.

She knew how much I truly disapprove of animal testing, and when her doctor mentioned that her some of the treatments she might receive were tested on animals first, she told the doctor, "NO THANK YOU!" "When people say 'modern science has come so far' they are lying through their teeth. If modern science has come as far as people think, we would not still be relying on animals to 'test' the products and medicine that make us beautiful and heal us. There is no moral or logical reason to test on animals, the chances of a breast cancer treatment working on an animal AND a human, are nest to nothing. Why would any sane person spend all that money, time and effort on a lost cause?" The doctor attempted to interrupt me by saying
"Our testing animals are treated with the upmost respect, and the testing doesn't hurt them. Animals don't feel pain like humans, so it is only logical we test our medicine on them." He thought he could convince me that it’s OKAY to test on animals; he didn't know I had all the answers. I finished by telling him “Animals are not humans, I don't care if cancer has been cured in every animal known to man, THEY ARE NOT A MAN. Trapping a monkey or mouse in a small cramped cage and pumping chemicals into them to 'cure cancer for humans' is not logical, respectful, and it is most definitely NOT moral. The doctor that wouldn't budge, quit his job at the hospital the day my aunt was cured of her breast cancer, and he now works at the hospital that does not test on animals.

I would ask them why don't they just test on humans who have the VOICE to agree with being tested on. Animals don't have the luxury of being able to say no to the cruel torture force onto them.

I don't know that there's anything to be said, I guess you could endeavor to explain how horrible what they do is and the type of things they deserve for doing it. But the only thing that's ultimately true is that if these "people", these monsters, can live with themselves everyday knowing what they've done, the immeasurable pain and suffering they've caused, nothing anyone can say will make them feel the torture in their hearts that they truly deserve. There are no words to quantify what they've done or the pain they deserve and there's nothing strong enough to show them that they are the ones without meaning. They're less than human.

I would ask them if one of their children had cancer, how would they want their child to be treated? If their mother was diagnosed with breast cancer would they want to try treatment on her that has been used on animals? There is different ways to determine if something will work on a human or not and the animals shouldn't have to suffer more than already do at our cost. We take away their trees, and homes. To use it for our own purpose, we are the ones who should have to cope with the suffering not those poor animals. Have they ever asked you to try on some blush? No, I highly doubt that. How can you sleep at night knowing you use animals living, breathing, creatures for purpose which can be avoided. I am only a teenager but my voice and opinion means alot to me. And i like to speak the thoughts that are on my mind. I think animal testing for breast cancer research is out of line. I think that the PUSSIES that torture animals should go to hell and stay there. There is no need to torture something to fix a problem. I'm horrified and disgusted. You people can suck a dick.

If I came face-to-face with someone who experiments on animals, I doubt I'd be able to hold myself back.
Of course I'd ask them how they could bring themselves to harm such innocent animals.
And of course I'd tell them how terrible what they're doing is.
But I'd also have to step back and look at them, in their eyes, and try to see what was so different about them.
I'd try to see if I could see any physical differences, because obviously there were so many mentally.
I'd ask them if I looked any different than the people they worked with, that abuse animals. I'd ask if they could notice that I love animals and have chosen a completely different lifestyle than them.
And I'd ask if it shows.
I'd ask if I seem happier than they are, because I am actively working for a more animal-friendly enviroment whereas they are merciless in their work.
I would ask them how many lives they've taken, and how many they've ruined.
I'd ask them if they've ever hurt a human through animal testing.

Imagine if someone was doing these cruel, unnecessary, and painful tests on your child. I'm certain that would evoke some very strong feelings in you. To many people, animals mean as much to them as a child does to a parent. I highly doubt you would be able to perform such terrible tests on someone else's child, so how is an animal any different? If I were to ever come in contact and actually have the chance to sit down with someone who conducts tests on animals many question and comments would come to my mind. They'd probably come out like this... You get paid to listen to the screams and cries of animals everyday, and you just sit there and watch them look up to you with inocent eyes, begging and pleading to you to just let them be, and your ok with that? Can you honestly tell me that your ok with torture,that your not like sain human beigns that would see some like that that as being barbaric? Tell me one good thing about your job? Exactly... they say they can find a cure for cancer by testing them on animals, yet still they find nothing. animals & humans are different from one another if they find a cure that can help other animals that is great but they dont get it some testings go wrong & only the animals feel not them

think about it-would you like to be tested by a giant for no reason? didn't think so

i would probably ask them if they really think it's necessary, saying not only do we have PLENTY of products out there already but there are other ways to test without using animals. and besides just because it works on animals doesnt mean it'll work on humans (give them the example: cancer has been cured for mice but when the product was used on humans it wasn't effective).
i'd also ask them if they have or have had any pets and how they would feel if these things were done to them.
then i'd ask them why they got into that job. was it to help people? because like i said before, because it works on one doesn't mean it'll work on another. i'd tell them it might better help people by searching for an alternative to testing on animals that is more accurate. is it because they enjoy hurting animals? (i seriously doubt that'll be an answer but you never know). if that's it i'd say i think they need to consider their life and morals a bit closer, maybe talk to someone to help them work through that instead of taking it out on living creatures.

well, i think first i'd ask them their side.
you know, let them explain themselves a little bit. then it'd go something like this:

"well, take a minute and just think about this for a second. look around you. do these animals look happy? no? well let me enlighten you as to why. they don't belong here. there are so many alternatives to this, and it really isn't solving anything. did you know that every year we spend billions of dollars on animal testing? it's quite a bit. we could be using that for something more effective, like sending care packages to those who need it. this animal testing isn't getting us anywhere. it's the same things over and over again. and it's just wrong. and i mean, just because some things might work on an animal, they very well may not work on a human. our system's work differently.
now, turn it around, and place yourself in their position. you've got all of these chemicals being pumped into you, and you're cramped in a cage by yourself. you're scared. you don't know what's going on, all you know is that you're in pain, and you shouldn't be there. it's terrifying hearing nothing but the sounds of screaming and machines. your mind flashes back, looking for any happy times that it can remember, and it finds nothing. it's completely absorbed in the darkness and it's scared.
you wouldn't like that, would you? i certainly wouldn't. so before you go back in there, thinking that you may be saving someone, just think about this. look into the fearful eyes of the animal, and ask yourself if it's really worth it. i'm not saying any of this to condemn you, please don't get me wrong, i just want you to see what you're doing, before you blindly continue this "work". thank you for your time."

what are you doing? do you honestly think that hurting another living creature is a good career choice. How do you go to sleep at night knowing that your torturing and killing over thousands and thousands of living creatures just like you and I? I wanna know how you would feel if you had to live in a cramped cages knowing that everyday you are going to be experimented on like you don't have a soul or any meaning in this world that was created so that man and animal could live in peace and harmony. If I came face to face with an animal experimenter I would just ask them why. I would tell him about the alternatives, even though they probably already know about them. I feel that reminding people that what they are doing is terrible, and that it can be changed, will help. Even though it may not have an immediate effect, after being told for the tenth time about how you could change something that is wrong, you'd fix it. Plus, telling them the facts would be much more effective than screaming at them , in my opinion.

i would make flash cards with pictures of animals that are sick from being tested show it to the animal tester and make him/her feel really bad.

Haven't you heard of in vitro testing? I mean, you are a college professor, medical researcher, or military specialist, correct? That means you have gone to college for a long time, and theoretically learned something!
I'm a 14 year old High School student and know that testing on human cell cultures is much more accurate than testing on another species, shouldn't you?

i would look them in the eye and ask them to do the experiments on me i would rather them do it on me then on some poor rat or monkey it helps them and the customers it will come out with more accurate tests.

I would tell them that testing on animals is cruel and useless. I would suggest using an alternative method to test, a more humane and sensible way. There are so many people that would be willing to participate in testing or studies to make the world a better place. Animals like people don't have a choice to be born, why would anyone treat them with such disrespect. This is not the life they should be born into. It's like a baby being born to a drug addict, it's not their fault yet they suffer from it. It's not fair. Nobody should have to right to choose anybody's/any animal's destiny for them. While the article does have some valid points, and I totally agree that animal testing can be very painful and cruel to the animals, I'm not completely convinced that we should quit animal testing. There have been scientific achievements in the field of diabetic research that have improved the quality of life for millions of people. While I wish that there was a better way, I can hardly condemn it in its entirety.

And you can't deny that there have also been considerable achievements in the minimum quality of life for these animals. With help from animal rights group such as PETA and others, standards are forming about how test animals are treated, and how long they can be tested. This is not perfect, but a small step is still a step, right? in order to really change how things are done, we must move carefully, or else we are in danger of becoming a punch-line.

I am as enraged as any of you, but try to think rationally about what you are saying. One could misinterpret your message; it may seem that you are telling the world that you would rather 500,000 woman die than an animal suffer. I'm sure that this is NOT your message, but think on it. Appearances do matter.

In conclusion: my statement to experimenters: I'm sure you realize the horror of your actions (or at least some of you do) so instead of standing on the other side of the picket line, work with us to try to develop more humane and animal-friendly ways to conduct your research. I'm sure that if we work together, we can eventually find a way to cure cancer without interfering with an animals life.

So when you're about to inject an animal with horrible mystery chemicals, an animal thats been tied down, is crying for mercy, and looks up at you with a look of hope that you arent actually going to prick him with a needle....do you feel sad? remorse? how about guilt? Do you get an uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach, how about throat? Or do you need to turn your head to do it? Have you trained yourself to not see them as living?...oh wait...all of this is okay because you want to be paid, its okay that this is happening because soon youll be off work to go home in your fancy luxury car to your big house to put on your silk pajamas and relax. All the while an animal is feeling the side effects of the drug, hears barking and loud animals but its muffled, had blurred vision, has to lay on a cold steel surface and has no idea whats happening to it.

I would tell the experimenter; How can you have a job that deal's with experimenting on animals? Hurting them, just looking at them suffering. They have different genes than we do, so it wouldn't make one difference. If you want to test any product, and it's for the pleasure of our humanity, then we need to test on our kind..certainly don't need to on animals. Never. They are defenseless. Its heartless and cold how you can stand there, experiment dealing and enjoying making them suffer.

What would i tell the experimenter? I would ask him how could he go home at night, and feel good about what he's done? I would ask him, how would he feel if it was his dog? Or his cat? Would he still feel like doing his job? I would ask him, if he was those animals, what would he say? Would he want somebody to speak up for him? I would ask him to realize what pain and torture these poor defenseless animals go through on a daily basis. Does he realize that these animals have feelings just like he does? If he could hear the words an animal would say to him, would he still do his job? Then I would ask him, for just one minute, to imagine the hurt the animals go through, no how does he feel? These animals are mutilated, tortured, and you continue doing your job as if its perfectly normal. If we didn't put such emphasis on the products that are being tested there would be no animal testing. Its cruel, terrible, heartless, and sickening.

Breast cancer is a scary thing that no woman should ever have to go through...yet you're trying to find a cure by putting an animal through pain. It's the new millennium, we all know for damn sure that animals feel pain, you can't spin that in any way. Pain to help others...I understand that it needs to be tested but you aren't asking freewill patients. If I was told I would get 1000$ to participate in a study, you know I'd probably do it. But i have that choice. They don't. What if something like that happened to you, or a family member? Kidnapped then help captive in a room, only to be free when their experimenting on you. That's against our human rights...So why aren't animals protected? Why don't they have a standard of living. You take them from their homes and families so you can torture them and ultimately disfigure or kill them. The next time you’re at work, running whatever test on whatever animal, please stop for just a second and listen. Don’t think about the next step in your process, just listen to the sounds coming out of the animal you’re holding. Look into it’s eyes and measure the expression there. Take a just a second to notice the struggles it’s put forth in trying to get away from you.
Then think about the life you have and the people you love. Think about all the great things in your life and what you’re looking forward to. Going home after work, a long weekend? Maybe a much anticipated vacation? And know that in a matter of time you’re involvement with the creature before you will be over. You can walk away, clock out and go on with your life. But this, right here, is most likely the only human contact this animal will have. And right now, as you’re ‘doing your job’, the living creature you’re testing on is looking forward to going back into whatever cage you keep it in and riding through the effects of whatever you’re injecting it with. Because THAT is the highlight of it’s day; when you go away.

I would have to tell them that against everything I feel, in spite of the rage that comes out every time I think of what they do, I almost feel sympathy. I can only imagine the guilt that they will one day be forced to experience when the blinders of denial they have created for themselves no longer shut out the horrors they have committed.

If you want to find a cure for breast cancer you might want to try and test the cure out on people who actually have BREASTS! Not on animals, they arent the ones with the problem!!

Well, then you probably already know about all of the horrible and inhuman things you are doing to God's creatures. You don't have to keep hurting, intoxicating, and killing God's creaturs, you know. If you want to poke, prod, intoicate, highly injure, someone do it to yourself, not these wondrous animals. You know you'd NEVER give ANYONE permission to do these things to you. Do you think that if animals had ANY say that they would agree to any of it? You know in your heart that your doing wrong.

I would just simply say---Try and put yourself selves in the animals' shoes for one day. Take the torture they put on those animals. I'm quite sure that you couldn't stand what you put those animals through, so why do something so inhumane. Animals have hearts, they're living too. They're just like humans, they have emotions, and families to take care of. If you think that using animals are such a joke, then let's honestly see you walk a day in those shoes. Not up for the challenge? Think about it for one minute, and think about what your parents probably told you "don't to others as you wouldn't do to yourself". Deep down, a part of you does care. A part of you knows that what you are doing is wrong and cruel. Think twice the next time you do it, imagine the animal as your husband/wife, or maybe even kids. I would say "Pathetic", then promptly walk away. Seconds later I'd be so overwhelmed with discontent, I would return to that man. Or woman as the case may be. And after a long hard stare while resisting the urge to explode I'd begin my heartfelt rant. One that'd go something like this;

"You say its for humanity. You say you want to help. But wait, why? What makes us so special? You want to keep our species thriving. And keep us slathered in the latest products. Your hurting animals of multiple species to do it. They're suffering is not deniable. You can see the pain of the rash as they burn, the shock in their eyes clearly visible, as they take their final breaths. WHY? Why them. At what point did the life of a dog, a monkey, a rat, a cat, a fowl etc. become less important than that of a humans? Animals were here first. And assuredly have done less damage to the world than this "civil"ization ever has. Want to know if somethings effective on humans? Heres an idea, try it on yourself. If you die, then you know somethings wrong. Stop taking out your ignorance on beings that are innocent far beyond our own. Does an animal not feel pain? Does he/she not have a soul? Then you sir, by your own accord, ARE AN ANIMAL. Now go stick the needle in your arm and see how you like it. Jerk."
Then as the polite woman I was raised to be I'll smile and politely thank them for their time.

I would say: There are many other ways to create harmless products, that work just as well. Is it really necessary for you to test on animals? No. More than likely you only do this to make money. So why not put your valuable time into making something not animal tested, that works just as well as the other stuff.

First I would tell him that we are all equal humans and animals....so why are you testing on them? It is cruel and wrong....Put your time to better use and go to peta2!!!!! :)
