Makes You Think July 6, 2009

Laura Lee-Conboy sent us these photos from Ireland! Reminds me of the human meat-tray demonstrations we sometimes do here in the States.

Take a look!

Photographer: Christine Redmond
Make Up: Gemma Horan
Model: Laura Lee-Conboy

You can actually download the entire book of these powerful, artistic photos. It's entitled Evisceration.

If you have any photos or artwork you've done to spread the word about animal rights, please e-mail us pictures to StreetTeam@peta2.com or upload them here.

What do you think? Why do most people have such a hard time realizing that the animals they call dinner were once living, feeling beings just like you and me?

I know Cody, it really is.

I did a huge poster for art this past year with a bunch of AR drawings on them.

Downladed the book and posted a link to it on Facebook. Hopefully my meat eating friends will take note.

i totally agree! i mean why do people think it's okay to kill package and sell animals who use to be happy and alive!? and then ask us caring vegetarians and vegans what's wrong with us? i think the only people that have something wrong with them are the meat eaters!

Wow! Shocking and very thought-provoking pictures.

I don't understand how people can prepare meat yet get queasy when watching horror movies - human and animal flesh is the same thing.

Wow! Those are some incredible images. Make sure you download to see them all.
Maybe someday people will see the light and stop torturing the animals like they do. It is so sad. No animal deserves to suffer like that.
