tht is what i would say to someone that wanted to go to a circus!!
I have always hada sinking feeling about the Circus, those clowns always look like they are up to something! Now there is proof. Those poor ellies!!! I will never let my kids go and now I have a reason to shout it out. Watch out for those circus people they really are FREAKS!
Posted by: mommietu-2girls at July 24, 2009 10:15 AMYou go to a circus you support animal cruelty. How would you be able to live with yourself knowing you helped support the torture and beating of innocent animals all for a quick laugh? I'm truely ashamed and let down, cause life ain't no circus for those elephants.
Posted by: Brooke Egly at July 24, 2009 10:15 AMHey, you. Going to a circus? So you can get a whole bunch of enjoyment in your life, and have lots of fun. Well I bet you didn't know those animals get abused, and tortured so you do get that enjoyment. Or maybe, you did know, and didn't think it was a big deal. Well, think again. Picture you being abused, hit across the face with a whip, then picture you having to go in front of a bunch of super loud people, and forced to perform, dressed in some ridiculous outfit. Animals have feelings, just like us humans, and it makes them sad. It isn't right. At all.
Posted by: at July 24, 2009 10:49 AMThe circuses may be silly, lighthearted, and fun for you, but think about it, are they really fun for the animals? At the circus, animals are deprived of their most basic needs. They are almost always confined and tied with ropes or shackles for minimum mobility. The animals are forced into doing painful and uncomfortable tricks while their trainers jab them with bullhooks, whip them, or shock them with electric prods in their most sensitive areas. How would you feel if someone had to take your baby away from you before you could even see them? Elephant babies are often taken away from their mothers at birth and are also forced to perform. Most circus animals' lifespans are cut terribly short because of all this. So rethink your decision to go to the circus, do you really want to support a show that tortures these innocent animals? Just remember this: animals have rights too.
(Sorry its so long guys, I couldn't really make it any shorter while still saying everything that I needed to say. By the way, that shirt is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. :D )
If you think it is cute for the animals to do tricks, try stepping into there shoes. Big animal, normally kept in the wild, having to be taken away to somewhere scary. Then being hurt and more scared just for someone to whip you for not doing an unnaturaltrick. Try that year after year after year and see how you would feel. Being cruel to animals is not a show, go see something without poor animals.
Posted by: beachgirlsej at July 24, 2009 11:05 AMMy little brother went to the circus with my dad (they made the plans while I was out of town..) and I told them that 'An elephant without a circus is like a person without a slave plantation - the circus is extremely cruel and beats the animals to the point where they will do whatever is asked of them, just to avoid the unneccesary and abusive things that trainers put them through daily (much like what slaves went through)."
The shirt is sooo cute by the way! (:
Posted by: Lexy at July 24, 2009 11:23 AMIf I had a say, this is what I would say;
"Hey, so you're going to the circus right?" "Why are you going? WHAT?!?! Because it's FUN?! It sure ain't for the animals, I'm telling you. Do you know how they treat the animals? They lock them up in cages, and then beat them and torture them in ways that would have you screaming for death had you been in their place. All this for a few bucks. How would you like it if they locked YOU up in a tiny cage, beat you and torture you, and forced you to do tricks you weren't meant to? Yeah, you'd be having fun right? If a human was ever tortured like this, it'd be about the most scandalous thing since little Washington cut down his father's cherry tree. But since animals are getting tortured and not humans, no one cares right? And also, did you hear about the Ringling Bros scandal? If I were you, I'd be afraid to show my face at such a place. Who knows what the world would call you? Probably nothing nice. So if you think that's perfectly fine, you go ahead. But don't come crying to me about the poor animal trainer that got stomped on by an elephant.
When you to the circus make sure you say hi to it for me.. lmao
Posted by: Melissa Rosado at July 24, 2009 11:26 AMIt is the cruelest show on earth!
Posted by: Lauren at July 24, 2009 11:41 AMAnimals do not need to be physically beaten to be abused. African and Asian elephants bear enormous psychological trauma from the relocation alone to be exploited by a few wealthy circus owners who are either aloof or apathetic. I'm not sure which is worse. Only one of every ten monkeys even survives the trip. Despite this, mental abuse is certainly not the only form of abuse the animals receive. These wild animals are confined for the vast majority of the time in small cages. When they are in training, all animals require considerable amounts of punishment and intimidation to learn the circus tricks. These beautiful animals were never meant to perform for your entertainment.
Posted by: at July 24, 2009 11:45 AMwe are going to the circus do you wanna go?
do i want to watch a poor animal suffer while hundreds of people laugh at his misery? thats like asking if i want to see a united states marine tortured to death by the Taliban.
Posted by: at July 24, 2009 12:03 PMCircus's are cruel. Imagine you being beaten and tortured and then embarassingly paraded around in front of hundreds of watching eyes. Doing stupid tricks just knowing you have to do it in fear of being beaten or not fed. Did you know that Nazi's used to do things similar to that? To Humans?
Posted by: CMD at July 24, 2009 12:06 PMAre you going to the circus?
"No actually im not, id rather not wait for the elephants to get whipped to do tricks before it starts just for the peoples pleasure in the stands."

"do i want to go watch a helpless animal suffer while people laugh at its misery? that's like asking if i want to watch a united states marine tortured to death by the Taliban. NO i do not want to go and you shouldn't either"

Posted by: B at July 24, 2009 12:08 PMI agree with the statement on the shirt. Animals dont deserve to serve people with entertainment, and wear these ugly costumes and perform tricks for us. Its not right.
Posted by: Ashley Kourn at July 24, 2009 12:08 PMThe circus is a tradition morfed straight from freakshows, and the truth is, an elephant has nothing more to do at a circus than the Elephant Man did.

Posted by: Ashley Kourn at July 24, 2009 12:09 PM"You are REALLY going to the Circus? Do you know how the poor animals are treated their whole entire lives just for the satisfaction for people like you who want to watch elephants prance around and stupid tricks that is all they know how to do. They don't even know what it's to be free like all animals should experience. Not only are they trapped, they are beaten with whips and bull hooks! By going to the circus, you are supporting these terrible terrible actions that these 'people' are doing to animals. There are plenty more activities to do besides that! :)
Posted by: Rachael at July 24, 2009 12:10 PMLoser: "Hey! The circus is in town! Let's go!"
Me: "You have a little sister. Would you whip her across the face, and beat her with a bullhook?"
Loser: "Uhh...?"
Me. "Yeah. Because that's what they do to animals at circuses. So no, I would never in a million years go to the circus with you. And I suggest you don't go either."
Loser (turned cool): "That is absolutely unacceptable. I am never going to the circus again, and i'm telling everyone I know to boycott as well."
Posted by: Tessa at July 24, 2009 12:11 PMYou want to go to a circus?
Fine, let's go get a ball you can balance on, a funky hat you can wear, and a whip if you don't listen. Switch places with the elephants, and tell me if you liked it or not.
Oh your going to the circus; I've got a great idea. Why don't you save your money and we can put on our own circus. Ask your friends and family to come over and I'll dress them up in fancy heavy head pieces and then poke, prod, whip and shock them when they are not following my specific direction. It'll be a blast!

So when you get home I'll come over, smack you in the face with a whip, stab you a couple times until you go through a hook on fire, sink a hook in to you, and make you scream. It will be the greatest show on earth. If you're not aware of how they treat those animals then you need to look it up. It's horrible and disturbing."
Awareness is the route
Posted by: Kaitlin Moran at July 24, 2009 12:13 PMYou want a circus?
Then you need to See Britney Spears.
At least when she cracks her whip she isn't tearing flesh.
"Yoo wtf is wrong with you ?! Your going to a circus ? What are you that bored ? You honestly have nothing better to do then go to a f***ing circus ? Fine whatever be my f***ing guest, go ahead and support elephants being beaten with bullhooks and whipped across the face and ears. Yup yup yup, your the smartest person i know. While your at it maybe after the show you'll go hit the elephants hmm? or maybe you'll kill onee!? Sound motherr f***ing good ?!"

Posted by: Alex at July 24, 2009 12:17 PM"Wanna come to the circus with me?"
"No thanks. The acrobats and shows are amazing, but when it comes to the animals i think i'll pass. I can't watch those shows and support what we all know is done behind closed doors. You should look into it. Abuse goes on everyday to the animals to make them perform the way they do on stage. Sometimes they hurt the animals even when they aren't in training or about to perform. either way no matter the time or place, it's not right and i can't sit and watch it happen."
Going to a circus is like going to watch your friends getting enslaved.
Going to a circus is like a veterinarian eating a pig.
Going to the circus is like supporting chinese labor laws.
Going to the circus is just plain wrong.
Don't go. Don't watch. Don't support.
That's what I would say! Love ya peta2 :)
OMG!! Dont Even Think About Going To A Circus. How Would You like It If I Poked and Jabbed You With Prods and Called You Fat?!?!?!Circus's Promote Animal Cruelty If You Go You'll Be Just As Much As A Freak As Those Carnies.
Posted by: Christopher at July 24, 2009 12:21 PMMaybe they will teach you a few new tricks - watch out for the whips.
Posted by: Stevie Hanks at July 24, 2009 12:23 PMYour going to a circus REALLY!? Do you realize by going to a circus your supporting animal cruelty!? Apparently you haven't checked out peta2.com lately. Everyday those poor helpless animals have to suffer for what?, A good show; for your entertainment!? Animals are ment to be free, and not ment to be locked in cages that they barley fit into. How would you feel if I locked you into a cage, and you had to follow my every command. One wrong move and you would be whipped nearly half to death! Give animals a voice, and don't go to the circus! Why watch a poor helpless animals get abused right infront of your eyes. You should be ashamed of yourself for even THINKING about going! Hay instead of going to the circus why don't we go get a veggie burger, or handout signs explaining why others shouldn't go to the circus as well! Anything beats going to the world's crulest show.
:)
Posted by: Alyssa at July 24, 2009 12:23 PMAnimals don't belong in a circus, they're not supposed to do tricks in front of people and be miss treated. Its stupid, all this for a little bit of entertainment. I prefer watching them when they're free and running around happy with no bruises or scars from being beaten if they're not doing what they're told. That's what entertainment is when they are where they belong, not being abused by people who don't know how to treat an animal right. You wouldn't like to be treated in that way so why should the animals be treated in that way, what gives them the right to abuse the creatures.
Posted by: nemo at July 24, 2009 12:23 PM"Hey, i got tickets to the circus, you wanna come?"
"Um, no thanks. Do you know what they do to those animals? Whip them, beat them. Those elephants get psychological damage done to them from those traumatizing events. They are confined and put into small spaces so they can 'amuse you.' Yeah, sure, like it will amuse me knowing what they do. If the roles were reversed, how would you feel? Would you be happy that they were beating you? What about the monkeys. Only a few ever survive the trip. If you have ever see what happens behind the scenes, you would not go. Like me. Actually , Peta made a video that shows what happens. I'll email you the link so you can see for yourself. I'm not going, but thanks for the offer.
Why am I not going to the circus? W-ell... aside from wild animals being taken from their home, the beatings and whippings their animals receive, teaching them unnatural tricks they must perform, and forcing confinement and onto them... I don't know, those clowns are pretty creepy.
"Entrapment is still entrapment, Torture is still torture, you wouldn't feel morally right watching a kidnapped child do tricks for entertainment, I have a lot of trouble seeing the difference here. We all have hearts, we all feel pain, no living thing deserves to spend its life caged, hurt, and confused."
Posted by: Tyler McAllister at July 24, 2009 12:27 PMYou know I dont' like going to circus because well the clowns freak me out. They give me bad night mares. But if you don't get scared by them, there's another reason why you should'nt go...
The animals are being poorley taken care of.
It's what you don't see whn you go to the circus, them taking beatings by sticks if they don't do what they were suppose to do.What if that was you? Would you want someone paying to come and see you act all happy but behind curtians you know if you did something wrong your going to get it.
So next time you might be thinking of going to the circus remember that its not a happy place like it may seem.
"Hey you going to the Circus?"
"Yeah.."
"Do you like being prodded behind your ears and hit constantly, y'know?
"Uhmm.. no.."
"Well that's what happens to animals and YOU if you go there. So there."
"Hmm.... no I'd rather not, tortured animals separated from their kind tend to go crazy and rampage. Torture really isn't my thing. I'd like to keep my life."
Posted by: Jenny Coffey at July 24, 2009 12:33 PMEntrapment is still entrapment, Torture is still torture, despite what the law might say. You wouldn't feel morally right watching a kidnapped child entertain you for money, I have trouble seeing the difference here. No living creature deserves to be abused, mocked and alone there entire lives.

Posted by: Xyon Hurst at July 24, 2009 12:35 PM"I think it's morbid to find entertainment in suffering. Heck no am I going."
Posted by: Kate at July 24, 2009 12:37 PMWhen attending a circus, most people look forward to watching lion's jump through firey hoops, or elephants do tricks. It is all very impressive, but what about what happens behind closed doors? Are you aware of the beating and the yelling that goes on to make these oh-so impressive tricks happen? These animals have been shackled to a life of slavery for a few cheap tricks and our own sick enjoyment from it. By attending a circus with animals involved, you are supporting animal cruelty. Please, have a heart and think about the innocent animals that are being forced through this.
Posted by: Christena at July 24, 2009 12:37 PMi would tell them that the circus is not fun, the animals are beaten, badly abused, made to perform for hours on end... i would try to make them understand that going to the circus is very wrong, cruel.
Posted by: marian at July 24, 2009 12:37 PMGo to a circus? Me?! hah! you've got to be kidding. circuses are for people with no life going to look at the life of animals that are being beaten on a daily bases and tormented. oh and not to mention the crowd of people looking at those animals not only look and say, "how cute" or, "look how adorable they are!" those people also put their trash in their already small cages and feed them circus junk food... hence circus animal's unhealthy diet. a lot of animals die at circuses because we kill them with our trash. do you think it's fair to sit in a cage for your life, being watched by hudreds.. of lets say animals instead of humans?, and if those animals could do what we do to them, they'd be throwing their food at us that they eat regularly.. which would be mostly HUMAN FOOD. and not to mention, the animals would be so mad they'd probably throw terds at you. so i have the decency not to go near a circus and try to talk people into not going. you wouldn't go if you had a heart. circuses are just as expensive, maybe more, than that new movie you've been ranting about. go watch that instead of watching animal cruelty right in front of you. don't add onto that crowd of a hundred people. you and me, that's 2 less people watching animals being treated poorly. you and me, we can spread the word about what Reeeallllyyyy goes on in circuses.
Posted by: jessicalynn at July 24, 2009 12:38 PMI feel like regular circuses are kind of white-trash...why don't you go to something classy like a play or Cirque du Soleil?
Posted by: Kenna at July 24, 2009 12:39 PMI would say
and i quote
Me: "Hey i heard you were joining the circus"
Person joining the circus: "Yeah im excited i get to travle and see the animals "
Me: "Did you know that they abuse their elephants"
Person joining the circus: " Well im not going to be working with the elephants"
Me: "Either way you working for the circus is showing your support for them to keep abusing their elephants"
Person joining the circus:"And their just elephants"
Me: "Elephants can feel pain and they have feelings stop being a self centered pig"
Me: "Either way i hope that you don't make the wrong decicion and you decide to not take the job"
The circus might be fun for you, but for the animals it is horrible. They are getting beat for your entertainment to do the tricks. Animals should be free in the wild not in cages or in a ring for you to watch and get beat. If the animal should ever try to fight back the animal would most likely get shot and killed because it is a wild animal and should be in the wild were it belongs.
Posted by: samantha at July 24, 2009 12:42 PMWowzas. You actually go to those fright fests? Sorry, but I don't like seeing innocent animals being put in a freak show. You should see what REALLY goes on to those poor animals, you'd be surprised.
Posted by: Melanie at July 24, 2009 12:42 PMNext time you are going to the circus, make sure to get some elephant blood with that cotton candy.
Posted by: Darien Aubinoe at July 24, 2009 12:42 PM"You want to come to the circus with us, Falon?"
No, I don't. I can't bare to think about the torture those poor helpless animals have gone through and are still going through. Circus' should be stopped, because I don't think a human would like to be beaten that way to do what they're told ESPECIALLY when they don't completely understand. Nobody would attend a circus if it was an animal like your pet, so why is it any different with elehants and tigers? And if you want to still go.. then I guess you support animal cruelty which is very unfortunate, but you will get your karma. :D
Posted by: Falon at July 24, 2009 12:42 PMwell first id smack them.. and then i say" dude seriously, your gonna go to a circus you think its cool all the stuff the animals do.. hahahahah ya its funny its entertaining, no its disgusting and wrong, they get those animals to perform tricks for your amusement but torture, how would you like it if your mom would beat you or electrocute you so you would do your homework or clean the kitchen wouldnt be very nice would it..and if you go to that circus i cant be friends with someone who supports animal cruelty, you make me sick!!!!" and if they didnt go then i would hug them lol
Posted by: selena at July 24, 2009 12:43 PMWhaaaaaaaaaaaat?! You are going WHERE!? To the circus?! :O What's wrong with you? You are soo not informed about how they treat animals there. Elephants belong in the wild, just as you belong in your home. How would you feel if a bunch of elephants capture you and take you to the jungle? What if they lock you up and handcuff you forcing you to do tricks to "entertain themselves"? Dude! Just think about it! It isn't fair how elephants and other animals live like in the circus. You still think I'm crazy or paranoid huh? Well just put your brain to FUNCTION and put yourself in the animal’s place. They might be animals, but they feel too, they’re not robots. So will you still support the circus and its cruelty towards those creatures? Because THEY are the real animals, they don’t care about the elephants. I don’t know if they are brainless, or if they have some weird disease that makes them hurt others. What I do know is that you should think again the next time you want to attend the circus.
Posted by: adrianna at July 24, 2009 12:48 PMYou want a circus?
Then talk to Britney Spears.
At least when she cracks her whip she isn't tearing flesh.
How can you bare to even go to such a cruel place? Do you know what they do to those defenseless animals? Do you know how the animals pay a deep, painful price for your night of entertainment?
They get abused, whipped, and harmed. Even right in front of your eyes.
Animals are supposed to be free and living their own lives. Just like us people. They're supposed to eat their own meals until they get full, they're supposed to see the sun and run openly, they're supposed to surrounded by other animals like themselves with love and a home to protect.
However, being in a circus, animals are confined in small cages. Given hardly any food that certainly would not fill up their hunger. And they get hurt.
These animals were not created to perform little acts just for your entertainment.
Think of yourself getting whipped and beaten and being in the same place these beautiful animals are in just to entertain someone with a little act.
Think about how the true nature of the circus shows are and how evil they truly are.
So, I hear you're going to the circus.
yep.
You know you're just paying for trainers to torture the animals right?
how so?
Well, the trainers use cruel methods to train them, such as beatings and whips and electric prods. The animals also are kept in tiny cages the entire time they're not performing.
oh, I was just joking when I said I was going to the circus.
(I was bored so I just typed a skit XD)
Man: Hey are you going to the circus?
Me: Please refer to my shirt *points to The cruelest show on earth Tee shirt*
Man: What is that all about?
Me: It's about Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus..They have the be the cruelest, most heartless people in the world! They have no problem abusing their animals just for a one or two hour show....
Man: So? Who cares I mean it's only two hours right?
Me: Who cares? The Animals care.....And no it doesn't last two hours for them, their abuse goes on every single day....Just think about it what if you were a baby elephant and than a man started beating you with different things....Just like abuse on a human it leaves abuse on animals to....Plus that cool french cirus is going to be in town, and it's an animal free show!
Man: Oh wow....Ok, that sounds pretty cool!
Posted by: Monisha at July 24, 2009 1:01 PMHey I'm going to the circus, are you?
"Not if you like watching poor animals dance around like puppets and do tricks just because they are scared to death of being hit and beaten by their trainers. It may look like all fun and games but you don't see the Ringling Bros. showing how they really train these animals, its not the wonderful entertainment that you think it is. Keep in mind while you watch the elephants stand on their hind legs and do tricks that they are not enjoying it as much as you. But have fun :)"
Posted by: Arden at July 24, 2009 1:01 PM"Hey Tara! I got these two free tickets to the circus next week! Wanna join?"
"Oh yeah. I'll join you in watching the most cruel sight of animal torture probably ever shown in public. Its pure enjoyment watching poor, helpless elephants perform against their will. Those same poor, helpless elephants who are chained together night after night and forced to practice night after night. The same elephants who are whipped with hooked prongs for no reason whatsoever. Who are treated as they are pieces of dirt on the side of the road. I'd love to watch tigers perform against their will as well who are extremely unhappy and treated terribly. The same tigers that are whipped time and time again when they make one wrong step in a performance. The same tigers who will never have a life out in the wild, free to make their own decisions. These circus animals are tortured beyond anyone's wildest imagine and you want to go watch them "perform"? NO. I will NOT join you because in my opinion..this is NOT ENTERTAINMENT. If you want entertainment..go watch Spongebob..not a circus"
Posted by: Tara Ruggeri at July 24, 2009 1:02 PMI would tell them:
The circus treat elephants in a cruel way, and only to make a profit off of them.If you go you are supporting them to abuse the animals. The more the audience, the more the profit. If you go you are encouraging them to keep this behavior up. You are making them money by going to the circus, which means all the more reason to keep punishing the animals into learning more tricks. The tricks may awe you and make you excited, but if you go when you are watching the elephants give rides to acrobats, tigers being whipped at for amusement, and monkies acting cute, think about how they were taken from the wild. From there families and put into tight sparkly costumes, to amuse little kids. Think about the animals past, how it learned the tricks, how they got that way. I won't tell you not to go, and i won't tell you to go to the circus, but make sure you think when you're there, or when you're about to say yes to the offer a friends offer to go.
Just Think.
"Oh, you're attending a circus today? I'd like to know what exactly goes through your mind while sitting at a Circus. If euphoria flows through your body as you watch the animals jump through hoops and play with fire, then I've got a rude awakening for you. Whether you want to believe it or not, animals are brutally tortured into these unusual acts. Remember, animals are meant to run free and live their own lives. They're not meant to be used for our entertainment. Therefore, these acts are not normal for them! They shouldn't be subjected to this kind of cruelty! Animals are our friends, not things we gawk at. Remember this as you sit your happy self down with a box of popcorn and your younger brother ready to be entertained by these helpless, hurt animals.
Posted by: Angela Zuniga at July 24, 2009 1:04 PMHey, are you coming to that circus tomorrow?
"No. The animals are brutally mistreated at those circuses. They're locked up and tortured. Besides, I can put on just as good of a show with just a hoola hoop and some fire." xD

"If i wanted to see animals in pain, ill go to a vet or animal shelter. "
Posted by: Zoey at July 24, 2009 1:09 PM"Oh, you're attending a Circus today? Well, I wonder what goes through your mind as you sit through a Circus. I bet you don't think about what these animals went through right before coming out on stage to 'entertain' you. Have you ever thought about how they get these animals to take part in such unusual acts? Remember, animals are meant to run free, not jump through hoops and play with fire. Animals are our friends, not things we sit and gawk at. Therefore, it makes my stomach turn at the thought of you sitting your happy self down with a box of popcorn ready to be 'entertained'. Animals should not be subjected to this cruel, vapid punishment. Think about this while planning your next play date with your little brother. Because while sitting in the audience, you're endorsing the punishment of helpless, hurt animals.

While you're having fun watching animals do repetitive tricks, elephants and bears are being beaten and tortured in the name of your entertainment. Selfish, isn't it?

I use to love the circus, but that's till i learned the truth. You know how the elephants always look sad and old? Well that's because they are beat all the time. They aint happy, why pay for more animals to be abused. If you dont believe me there is a lot of proof on the www.peta2.com. :]
Posted by: Kelsi at July 24, 2009 1:37 PMCIRCUS, n. A place where horses, ponies and elephants are permitted to see men, women and children acting the fool.
Posted by: Katie Gerhart at July 24, 2009 1:38 PMWhen you're little, the circus is played out to be this big magical world where animals from places such as the Jungle come out and perform. What children and adults alike aren't told is the process behind the Circus and just how inhumane it truely is.
I'm sure you know that in order to attend the circus you have to pay the money for a ticket. But did you know that the money you are giving to them is not going for the care of their animals? You would think with all of the cash circus' will bring in, they could put it toward a better living environment for their animals, but instead the animals remain in small cages, being transported from state to state without proper food, water, grooming/bathing, space or sanitation. Not only is the lack of care after the Circus irresponble and heartless, what they do to animals during their live performances is just as bad if not worse. These meant to be wild animals are spending the majority of their lives training for performances, performing nights and nights on end, and then being crammed into cages to be hauled off to do it all over again. These large and beautiful animals are coerced into doing acts and stunts for the amusement of the people who buy into this cruelty. Animals, such as lions, elephants and monkeys that are meant to be undomesticated - should not be kept for the amusement of humans. With little rest between acts, animals are forced to perform unrested, unbathed, and poorly fed for nights on end. Abuse isn't always physical, it can be as simple as neglect. By ignoring the ways to properly care for said animals, the circus owners or "care takers" are neglectfully abusing their performers.
Do you really want to be a supporter of neglect and mistreatment?
Posted by: Kylie at July 24, 2009 1:39 PM"hey you wanna go to the circus with me?"
and then I'd say something like "do you really think that I wanna PAY for animal cruelty? are you crazy? what kind of person are you? you can go by yourself if you want to but if those poor elephants weren't so busy being beaten they'd probably throw their dung at you or something."
Posted by: Journie at July 24, 2009 1:42 PM(As if I was talking to my friend about it)
Circuses are not entertaining when you know the truth behind it all.
The animals are not treated well. It's the exact opposite. Now when I tell you what really goes on behind the curtains at the circus, imagine yourself as the animals and really listen.
For the publics entertainment, for YOUR entertainment, the animals endure unbearable pain. As you might know, it takes time for animals to learn tricks but these animals don't have time. So they are tortured. Trainers will use electric prods and stab them in the legs, they'll whip them, and use bullhooks to try and make them learn faster. That's not all though. After their 'performances' and 'training sessions', they're stuck back into these cages that are barely big enough to keep them in there. Some of them probably even become depressed.
And when you take on this much damage, emotionally and physically, it breaks them down.
Their life is shortened because of all this.
And what is all this for? So you can see these poor animals do some stupid tricks?
You wouldn't survive. Alota of them don't.
hey wanna go to the circus with me?
are you kidding me , watching elephants parade around for your entertainment, and then knowing that they will get abused when they're done.
no thank you.
what if you got abused for the elephants entertainment, then im sure you'd be realll excited to see the circus.
"No animal especially Elephants Tigers, Lions, whatever animal you put in your deathtrap were put here for our joy, and its uncalledfor when people like you torment them because they aren't doing their "job" right. They don't know any better, they were not suppost to be raised this way anyway. They were put here to live like you and me and you're taking that away from them. Open your eyes and take a look at the world you greedy and heartless idiot. It's not all about the money. It's about the animals and how much more they deserve than to live like this."
I would stay arguing with them, until i convinced them that it is a very serious situaton, and its VERY wrong.
Posted by: Nikki at July 24, 2009 1:47 PMEvery year you ask me to go with you to the circus, and every year I respond with no, I don’t want to even think about the circus. But you wont stop. You keep asking me what the big deal is? it’s just a show.
You really want to know why I don’t wanna go? When I was a little girl I went to the circus with my mom and dad. Everything was going okay until the animals came out and a small elephant who didn’t quite get the “choreography” down, was being whipped until it got to the right position. Can you imagine being a young kid, and feeling like you’re the elephant, being whipped to do something they don’t wanna do, all so a bunch of people can stare, laugh and mock you? I cried the whole way home.
Years later we were doing a project for school, and I decided to focus on the cruelty of animals at the circus and I found out a LOT of bad things that go on backstage without penalty.I still have it if you wanna look at it. Animals should be left to live in their natural environment.
I can honestly (and proudly say) I have never been to a circus in my entire life. My parents just never had the chance to take me and I'm glad they didn't.
A general conversation involving the circus. I would be on Sue's side. (:
Jake: Hey Sue! Barnum and Bailey are in town; want to come to the circus with me? I hear they have the world's largest elephant and it does tons of neato tricks! :D
Sue: No thanks Jake. Unlike you and many other people on this planet, I actually care what happens to God's creatures. Circuses are horrible places where many animals are abused, confined in small cages not fit for them after the shows, and have to go through much punishment to learn the cruel tricks that people enjoy. Not to mention it's just an event designed to horrify young children with grotesquely painted clowns and cheap popcorn that stain teeth orange. As well as be used as an advanced technique of torture for those who are afraid of clowns. And to be quite honest, clowns do freak me out with all that hideous makeup and over sized shoes.
Jake: Well, geez, Sue you can get off your soapbox now.
Sue: I'm sorry Jake, but I'm just expressing my feelings about the circus and hoping you might think about what I have said and not go. There are PLENTY of other fun things we can do besides seeing people stick needles through themselves and living and the mean tricks the animals have to go through.
Jake: Ahh, I kind of see where you're coming from. Hmm, well, since I have no other person to come to the circus with me, what do you want to do today?
Sue: How about some Super Mario Karts?
Jake: Oooh, that sounds good. I call Yoshi!
Sue: NO! I get Yoshi.
Jake: We'll see about that...
End of conversation. (:

ok so your going to the circus are you? animals were not put here on the earth for our entertainment. those animals were taking from there home and were put into cages and were beatend and tourmented for our pleasure. are you kidding me you actually support that kind of thing? animals were ment to rome free around the earth and be happy and live their life just like us humans do. could you imagine being taken from your parents at a young age then being placed in a cage then being beaten so you can perform for a bunch of humans. ya i counldnt either but thats what the circus animlas have to go through every day of there life. so instead of going to the circus to watch lets go stand outside and let the people going in now what the animals had to go through all so they could be entertained.
i only have one voice but so do you and together we coud stop this sickening act.
Ok, and when are the animals coming to watch you perform in return?

If that's what you call entertainment, than you are sick."
I know i sound crazy, but circuses really make me angry, they are so mean.
What the hell?! You're going to the circus? Have you NOT seen Dumbo? Remember what happened to Dumbo's mom?! That's basically what happens to most of the circus' animals, except that they don't have the benefit of Disney's kid friendly filter AND they have to go through that whenever they train for a show. You're basically supporting animal cruelty...YOU'RE KILLING DUMBO'S MOM! >:O

"Hope they start parading you around the ring and hurting you.
Oh, and bring me a souvenir. An elephant whip would be nice decor."
You should join the circus,
spend your life being shakled and tourtured.
Because its only fair you get the same treatment
you helped to fund.
then youd think twice about the cute animals =]
how can you be entertained by the elephants or any animal in this circus when they are not being treated humanely or allowed to thrive in their natural habitat....that would make people who think they are entertained by circus animals sadddists in my opinion because they are knowingly watching animals perform through fear and intimidation.

"why?"
"because they have no legit reason besides 'enetertainment' to terrorize these animals into standing on two feet or through rings of fire or tons of other unhumane tricks. the animals don't even have a choice, they're born into it. it's like how the slaves were born into slavery."
"oh."
"yeah. oh."
Things change...all of the time. The majority of things that change are merely updated. Cars, computers, phones, and clothes go through changes. Even the circus. Circus' that make use of animals, outside of being cruel, are out dated. One company has updated the circus, Cirque du Soleil. An animal free circus. Being animal free means no cruel torture. I've personally been to both types circus' in my lifetime, and can say that Cirque du Soleil is the way to go for a circus-esque enviroment. Not the Dingling Bros and Farnum & Hailey 'Circus.'

Its bad enough you eat meat.
Watch a few videos of how they torture those innocent animals
and then well see how you feel about the circus.
"Ha ha seriously? I don't get why you'd want to see tortured animals perform for you.
I think your dog is more entertaining."

me: "Why would I be going?"
Friend: "Because its fun and I know how much you like animals"
me: "Yeah I LOVE animals, but I will not be going there."
Friend: "What? Why?"
me: "Because they abuse the animals!! Animals are meant to be in their natural habitat not on some stage entertaining us! Plus they whip the animals if they don't cooperate with them or get a trick right, plus most of the animals are scared of the crowds. Would you like it if you had to perform some trick in front of a bunch of people while your scared and beaten?"

Posted by: Brittney at July 24, 2009 2:52 PMMany people are amazed at how the animals preform such unusual tricks, but what keeps them dumbstruck about how they were brutally forced to learn them? Pain and fear haunt all their memories, and elephants never forget. They'll never forget every beating, everything thier forced to do, and thier life of misery. They'll never forget the electric prods and being stabbed with bullhooks. Buying tickets is paying and supporting animal cruelty and the mental and phisical breakdowns of animals. Putting them in a circus is like putting them in a deathtrap. lifes are shortened because of depression, brutal beatings and sevear emotional pain.

Posted by: Amber Hemmerly at July 24, 2009 2:55 PM It's a hot day in July and Amanda, Lindsey's friend, has decided she will attend the circus.
"I'm going to the circus," says Amanda.
"Cool, can I come?" asks Lindsey
"Sure, jump in the hoo-ride!" Amanda responds.
"Okay, let me just grab some stuff real quick." Lindsey comes out of her house holding a big box.
"What's that stuff?" Amanda asks.
"Oh, you'll see."
Some time later they arrive at the circus. Lindsey waves to a few people holding a folding table and walks over. "Okay, lets set up here," Lindsey tells the new friends.
"What are you doing? I thought you wanted to see the circus." Amanda says thouroughly confused.
"I said I wanted to come, not that I want to see the circus... come here, look at all of these flyer's I have and you'll see why." Lindsey spends a little time showing Amanda the horrors that the animals go through daily with the circus and also alternatives like an all human circus.
Amanda has a change of heart and rips up her ticket. She puts a portable television around her neck that is showing the nightmares of the circus while Lindsey is talking to circus goers about why they should not attend. Many people decline to pay for a ticket and go to the arcade across the street and it was all thanks to the work Amanda and Lindsey did while at the circus.
(I guess it's not what I would say but what would happen... but whatever... same diff.)
I remember being dragged to the circus when I was seven years old, I found no joy out of it. While other kids we're laughing at the animals and clapping for the "tricks" they did, I was literally crying my eyes out. The way those animals are treated is beyond cruel, it's immorally wrong. Animals have their own feelings, their own personalities, just as any human does. Would you like seeing another human out there getting whipped and doing those tricks? I can't begin to justify the reasons behind the things people do at the circus. Those animals deserve to be free in the natural habitat they we're put in by God. I'm personally repulsed at the idea of people bringing there kids to such a heartless gathering when there are so many more options that are animal friendly. Watching animals parade around for mild enjoyment of one night, when they spend every night in pain just for that one night for you. Once you see what's not happening to those animals on stage, I hope your heart will understand the reason I disagree with such torment. It's just wrong.
Posted by: Andi at July 24, 2009 3:03 PM'you should seriously consider looking into behind the scenes before you make your mind up. animals from the circus are beaten into doing what their handlers want them too by usinf bull hooks and cattle prods. animals from touring circuses are kept in tiny trailers used for transport and may be allowed half an hour to stretch their legs in a tiny pen the size of a transit van. when the animals are not being used and the circus is not 'in season' the animals are crammed into a tiny cage that someone may put their dog in for a ten minute car journey. By going to the circus you're supporting the abuse of animals. Most people don't realize it, but animals in the circus are beaten in order to do the tricks they perform, which is unnatural and unfair. There are several other more fair and ethical choices when it comes to finding entertainment.

"Why the glum mood?"
"Glum? I'm not glum. I'm just mortified."

"Well... First of all... I'm scared of clowns..."
"Aw, seriously? C'mon. They won't hurt you."

"Cut the crap. Let's go to the circus."
"Can I bring a blowtorch?"
"What! Why?"
"So I can burn it down, duh."
"..... Do you want to go or not?"
"Of course I want to go! I love seeing animals suffer for nothing! I just can't get enough of it! Oh, how I lavish in the thought of those poor helpless animals getting prodded with electric prods just for our entertainment. Who cares if the animal should be free? Who cares if the animal is kept in a filthy stall? So long as I get my entertainment, all is well." I pause. "I used to wonder wear where our money went when we pay for the circus. Posted by: at July 24, 2009 5:28 PMI'm not going to the circus. Elephants are my favorite animal. Do you want to support their pain, or support the elephants?
Posted by: Liz Rich at July 24, 2009 5:28 PMAnimals shouldn't be confined of a space and having to preform for people. That is not right, they should be out in the wild and able to do what they want when they want and have as much space to roam as they want. Any person in their right mind would not support or go to a circus, everyone knows what happens. I do not support animal cruelty, and neither should you.

Me: Hmm, I would, but I don't want to sit and watch poor, defenseless, abused animals be forced to do tricks, dance, or jump through hoops. I'm not in to animal torture. You know? I think I'll just go to the movies. Would you rather come there with me?
So you are going to a circus... ahhh... very interesting... so if an elephant started whipping a little boy in hopes of the boy being able to balance on a marble would you watch?
An animal would not want to force you to parade around miserably for an hour. Or keep you locked up in a cage. No animal would take you away from your family to travel non stop for almost the entire year. Animals would not beat you to make you do things that are unnatural to you. So why would you support that happening to them?

Me::Ringling workers beat, whip and strike the elephants and tigers' heads, faces, ears, trunks, and legs with a bullhook, which is a hard metal thingy that's like a fireplace poker with a sharp hook on the end.
Someone::Are you serious?
Me::Yeah. And the workers don't even care how the animals feel. It just makes me soo mad how a person can be like that...Soo your not going to the circus anymore right?

Let's go see a local band or a Beatles cover band!! Wanna go to Chicago Diner for dinner? It's my fave vegan restaurant! :)
Posted by: Caroline at July 24, 2009 10:54 PMCircuses aren't the only fun way to interact with animals. There are lots of options, like going on a wild safari or visiting the zoo, or even volunteering at a local animal shelter. These other options are much better because they allow the animal to lead a long and happy life, not a short and miserable one. I would never go to a zoo to watch animals perform tricks they were never meant to attempt, and I certainly won't bring my children to one.
Posted by: at July 24, 2009 11:02 PMI do not like the circus. For one they are scary expecially the clowns. And second I cant bear to just sit in the stands and watch the poor animals do the tricks the conductors are forcing them to do. It is just plain cruel. I would like to give them a piece of my mind about abusing animals. But anyway we all should go out and do all we can to help any animal we can. Its the best we can do in the wicked world.
Posted by: Hope at July 24, 2009 11:04 PMOhh, you're going to the circus? Huh. That's interesting.. It looks pretty entretaining and fun from where the audience sits, huh? That's pretty idiotic, don't you think? I mean, if circuses were ACTUALLY cool, they would have VIP passes, where you can go back stage. But they DON'T. And why? Because if you saw the back stage, you would see those stupid idiotic morons hurting animals. And who does that, you may ask? Sadistic ingorant people with a brain the size of a PEA! So, if you want to go to the house of the devil, you go right ahead. But, just so you know, going to that disgusting and torturing place makes you just as bad or even worse, because it's YOU the one that is paying the circus to hurt innocent creatures. It's YOU the one that's supporting their acts. Only cold-blooded and heartless people do this. So if you want to be THAT type of person, go. But if you want to be the BIGGER person, you know, the one with the normal-sized brain, don't go. There are better things in life other then torturing animals. Well.. as a matter of fact, ANYTHING, including eating dirt, is better than that.

No I rather not. I believe circus's are a cruel freakish germy environment. I wouldnt want to take part of anything that has actual proof of animal abuse and some neglect. If I watched the show, not only will I be non-amused by clowns and more terrified than anything. But I would feel hurt and sadden by watching the animals perform in something they were forced into. Seeing visible wounds and those sad eyes in those innocent creatures, I would just be totally disgusted and angry. I wish they shut down circus's period.

Posted by: Emma at July 25, 2009 1:36 AMYou are going to the circus to be entertained by animals being forced to dance?
Come over to my place and watch my little finch inside his cage. He is a funny little guy. I force him out of the cage because he goes back itno it. I have no idea why he does that.
He loves the dammed cage which is not normal for a bird. But well maybe its because he grew up in it...even though he would sleep with me since he had nightmares..if that's possible for a bird...lol... anyways come over to my place that little guy is awesome.
He is well fed and loves to sing and bathe. OMG! You can even watch him on his dailiy routine of bothering my two iguanas! He poops on them and then flies away. It's funny. But well georgy and victor don't like it.
You know my pets are trained but not like at the circus dude. These little guys are loved by my friends and familiy because of their amazing personalities. The animals at the circus are no different. They just ended up with bad evil people that don't appreciate them. When someoen behaves bad you don't beat them...you take away your attention. Then you tell them they are good because they did well to stop behaving bad.
I mean really..why would you want to watch someone suffer? If it was people being treated that badly I bet people would complain..but nooo since its an animal no one cares... don't be an idiot and don't pay to see suffering.

if the person says no and it's a guy...well im cute enough to convince... lol

Posted by: genesis at July 25, 2009 1:56 AMIs one day of "entertainment" really worth the years of torture and pain that these animals have to endure? After you leave the circus and go on with your life of freedom these animals are moved around in small cages, forced to perform tricks that are not in their nature to perform, and constantly beat. They endure more mental and physical pain than any living creature should endure. Next time you think about watching live entertainment maybe you should consider picking something where the performers made the choice to put on a show for you.
Posted by: Christian at July 25, 2009 2:54 AMWow. Are you seriously going to go and sit there knowing those animals HATE life? So you can get a good laugh or 2? Would you enjoy that? i didn't think so. Why dont you come with me and we will go to that circus and tell everyone else about what they are about to see.

Posted by: candace crawford at July 25, 2009 5:43 AMIt's sad that the world has come to a place where people pay money to enjoy the pain and suffering of another being. And that money funds the abuse. Would you sink a bullhook into an elephant's nose to lead it around? Would you beat and cattleprod a tiger until it had no will to move? Would you burn the paws of a bear to make it stand straight? I'm guessing not... but if you pay to get into a circus, you might as well do all of those things yourself, because you're enabling it. The closest you'll ever catch me to watching the circus is on YouTube, when the animals start teaching the trainers tricks... like play dead.

I bet everyone wants to be one of these clever, charismatic creatures.?
i would say.
"how could you sit through something like that. its inhumane and incredibly disgusting. to think any human being with a heart could do that to those poor helpless animals just turns my stomach.
To beat them and show them off like they are something to laugh at, they have feelings too just like we do. They feel pain and they get sad. all animals of the circus deserve a better tommorrow, so please consider what i've said and dont go to the circus. you could be that one person, the one person to join in the fight against the circus. cause even 1 person can make a difference. Children and animals have something in common: they are both innocent and helpless. Don't support cruelty, rise up against it.

Posted by: Nancy Meyer at July 25, 2009 12:50 PMIt makes no sense to want to see an animal in such an unnatural habitat. Watching massive animals such as tigers and elephants wearing hideous costumes is not teaching anyone anything. By going to a circus you are saying "It's okay to train animals, against their will to preform ridiculous tricks to make the masses of people laugh at the animals' misfortune" Encourage people to go to Animal Sanctuary's if they are interested in seeing animals in a safe and well kept habitat. IF you are interested in Circus's we should be more interested in shows such as "cirque du soleil" were animals are not put on display but you will still have an enjoyable and entertaining time.

going to the circus may provide you with an hour of enjoyment but for the animals it provides them with a lifetime full of suffering.
Posted by: Nina at July 25, 2009 12:54 PMOk, so my little sister knows very little about the backgrounds of the circus.
She saw that one was soon to come to our town while we were on vacation, and I automatically FREAKED OUT.
She then immediately regretted the idea and hasn't gone to the circus since.
But here's something I would say to an older person:
"Circuses are somewhat like the movie, Saw. The trainers are like those sick, twisted people who would push the contestants of the game further. Seeing how far they could push the animal before they crakced. Using midevil equipment like hooks and whips. Posted by: Gimarrey Calamba at July 25, 2009 10:42 PMThe circus? Do you want to go to watch tired, beaten elephants which have been beaten, whipped, and pulled along by hooks? Or maybe you would rather watch the tigers which have also been abused and beaten? Wait, you might even want to buy some ground up meat of cruely- treated animals wrapped in a pig's intestine. Yum, hot dogs. (gag face) Going there just promotes the behavior, and give them money to keep beating these animals. If you want to go, congrats, you are heartless.

Posted by: WENDY HORN at July 26, 2009 12:42 AMThe circus this Friday? Nah, I'm not going to attend the circus. It was fun and all when I was a child, but that was when I was ignorant to everything that secretly went on backstage. What goes on backstage? Well, most, if not all the animals are trained with cow prods, you know, those gigantic tazers? They're forced to do tricks that their anatomy is just, really, not meant for at all.
Not to mention....who in their right mind would wear a ridiculous costume like that and preform in front of hundreds of people only to get laughed at?
Wait, so you're not going anymore? Awesome!
Wanna go get some Vegan ice cream from Scoops off N. Heliotrope by Hollywood Blvd? Sweet! See you there in 10.
When i was 3years i went to the circus! there was a lighting storm. the tent collapsed! all i remember was panic and screaming!in a big tent! Looking back I though having lighting strike the tent and have it fall on everyone watching was traumatic and scary! But those who preform go through trauma and fear daily! The circus in my case was no fun! if everyone had an experience like mine no one would go! poor elephants!

Circuses are cruel companies that don't take the animals feelings or well being into consideration. I don't know about you, but I want my kids to know that the animals in the circus are not happy and should never be there in the first place!"

But If you think they are fun, then your knowledge of the circus has only just begun.
They're tortured and slapped, Taunted and snapped
And you just sit in the audience and add your 'claps'
So next time you go to those animals- well 'trained'
Just remember that only your bike should be chained.
"Hey, the circus is in town, wanna come?"
"No thanks, I'd rather not watch something be forecd to perform when they spend their whole lives being beaten until they get it right. Have you ever seen those videos on tv about how elephants go on rampages? And then we call the creature a walking demon? Step back behind the big top curtain and see what happens to them, I think they deserve a better life.I'd rather go see Cirque du Soleil, at least I know ringleaders aren't beating the preformers there."

If you really love animals you would not support and waist your money on the circus, in fact you should join the peta2 street team and help the animals!
That's what I did!
LOVE ANIMALS, don't be cruel to them.
They're not cruel to us!

CW: hey! I'm going to see the circus! I haven't been in YEARS!
ME: eww. Why? Last time I went, I was like four. After that, I started hearing about the way they treated their animals.
CW: so you're one of those Peta freaks too? Those animals LOVE being there. They get a place to stay, and fed too. In the wild, they get poached.
ME: (already FURIOUS) OKAY. So what's your favorite part of the "greatest show on earth"
CW: I've always loved the elephants.
ME: well, if you want to see an elephant preform tricks, just put you mom in some platform shoes and make her stand on one leg. Same thing! Actually, hand her the makeup kit first, and with her skills, you'll get an elephant and clown in one!
lol he was not too happy with this.
Posted by: Heather at July 27, 2009 2:03 AMwhy would some one get a laugh out of a elephant or any animal haveing to preform in a cicus?
some animals are beat to do what the trainer wants.
iv never been to a circus and never will go.
I'd try and keep it brief. Nobody wants to be lectured or made to feel guilty. Instead, I'd give them an alternative that sounded like more fun.
For example, if one of my girlfriend's wanted to go to the circus with her family or friends, I'd tell her to go on a shopping spree with me instead! I'd also mention that it'd be a lot more fun then watching beaten and frightened animals try and put on a show...she'd probably ask what I meant by that, and wa-la! I've not only convinced her to not go, but can now share what really happens to animals in the circus. Then she might tell somebody...it's a win win.
If it was a guy, I'd bat my eyelashes and...haha, no. BUT I would try and get him to go to a movie with me instead! What kinda guy turns down a night full of popcorn and fun to go to the circus? If he still doesn't budge? I'd make him feel goofy for even having interest in one. I'd nonchalantly mention hanging with me would be way more fun then watching those poor animals; then I can tell him about why the circus ain't all it's cracked up to be.
Posted by: Taylor at July 27, 2009 5:28 AM"I'm going to the circus."
"I'd rather curl up in my gas oven and turn it on then go to the circus. I'd rather watch a Mary-Kate and Ashley film. I'd rather put my face in a waffle iron, because circuses support some of the most cruel practices I've ever known. The animals there survive hell for most of their painful, cut-short lives, dying slow painful deaths from the injuries they receive from their care-takers. They live a life of torture, and they have done nothing to deserve. No one could ever deserve their fate. And the worst part is, most people don't know their suffering. So, they PAY the people hurting them to watch the creatures suffer. Think about paying someone disgusting, putrid, vile, just to laugh at animals who have never know anything but the circus. People think of circuses as fun, nice places. I think of it as a diseased, horrible jail for innocent animals. Don't go to the circus. Don't support the circus."
Posted by: at July 27, 2009 2:41 PMYou know, when I was a kid I loved the circus. I would go to the Ringling Brothers shows, and I was just the happiest kid in the world. I even have a lion mug to prove it. But then i grew up, and I never went anymore. I still loved animals though, so I went vegetarian. I discovered the secrets I never knew about animals. It just devestated me to know that the animals I watched as a kid at the biggest show on earth were treated unfairly, beaten and whipped all over their helpless bodies. I felt ashamed of being a child. I felt so digusting, to have paid those people to torture animals. And i know that kids are kids, and its better for them not to know this. But maybe as their parents you would understand that by attending that show, you are participating in and supporting the cruelty against those innocent animals.
Posted by: Griselda Padilla at July 27, 2009 3:03 PMI started thinking how elephants do not even have a chance for escape. whenever they rebel they are killed. How horrible to know there is no escape.
Posted by: at July 27, 2009 3:14 PMElephants have to be my favourite animals. I love to observe them, but never would i want to do this at a circus! Why? Because these animals are treated morbidly and with dis-respect there. They are trained to do tricks and jump through hoops all for your entertainment. But do you understand what is behind this training? Constant beatings, screaming and yelling, absolute psychological abuse, and ultimately just plain torture. The beatings sustained by these innocent animals are extreme, and trying to imagine the pain and suffering they go through is just impossible. The only thing they're ever rewarded with is a quick lashing if they do one thing wrong. The marks on their legs and faces aren't just birthmarks, they're wounds from being beaten. PETA studies have also shown that many of these poor elephants suffer from arthritis and osteoporosis. These helpless elephants only suffer from these diseases because their human owners don't allow them enough room to walk around freely. Elephants are large, beautiful creatures that belong in the vast beauty of the plains of Africa and the gorgeous jungles of India. Elephants have never been found to live wildly in small tents in North America, so why are we keeping them there? I would never want to be forced into a small 6 foot by 6 foot room for the rest of my life, it would be against my will and my rights. I would definitely fight to be free, but these creatures don't have voices of their own. We need to stand up for these elephants, because their rights and lives matter too. I think these animals should be free, and the only way this is going to happen is if we take a stand. Stand up for animal rights, because they are Gods creatures too, and if we don't protest this circus, who will?
Posted by: Katie Nolan at July 27, 2009 3:25 PMI watched the video of the trainers hitting the elephants and I cried...I would have loved to watch the trainers being whipped instead. The circus should be outlawed. Every mother, father and child should stand up for all the poor animals and say NO MORE! Parents should teach their children that it is nothing but animal cruelty.
Posted by: Renee Jolley at July 27, 2009 3:34 PMAw, hell no! I don't think going to a circus is a good idea! There's a reason why the people in the circus are called "circus freaks" and in my opinion, it's because it takes a freakin messed up person to abuse, harm, and prod these beautiful, innocent animals to where they go crazy, and then they kill them. How messed up is that? Think of cruelty-free options, go to the movies. Besides, you're scared of clowns, aren't you? I thought so. :)
Posted by: Kadi Harris at July 27, 2009 5:58 PMplease do not go to the circus. it may seem like a fun idea but what you are witnessing is animals that are abused and sad, it is not a fun show. you should feel guilty and bad about paying to be a witness to these crimes support wild life living in the wild by not going and telling your family and friends not to go and find a better, more humane way to entertain your self. i bet you will feel better about your self if you make the humane choice. no circus!
Posted by: jess at July 27, 2009 6:06 PMOh, so you're going to the circus tomorrow? You're paying thirty bucks to see tortured animals preform? I BET that's fun, isn't it?

Really? Your going to the circus? To watch what? A wild animal forced to be tame? A baby elephant stole from its mother forced to do tricks? What if it was your baby? Would you watch then? Would you laugh and giggle and eat your cotton candy? While helpless an infant is tortured for your pleasure?! While a lion is forced to jump through fire? Can you smell the burning flesh? Does that please you? Knowing your supporting this cruelty?? While elephants are chained so tight it rips into their flesh, day by day deeper and deeper till finally she cant take it anymore and falls to the floor. Then the crack of the whip, but she cant, no more! She screams. Are you happy? Comfortable? Having fun? Guess what, animals scream to.
Posted by: kelly evans at July 27, 2009 8:13 PM"Hey Holly I'm going to the circus wanna come!!!"
Nah going to the circus may be fun for you...I guess but think about the poor animals! You think you're afraid of clowns when they're performing at the show? Imagine them behind the scenes, coming at you with a sharp metal hook and stabbing you with it to make you do monotonous tricks? That's what those poor animals have to do every single day when they train for the circus. If that isn't bad enough you're confined to small cages and fed food that makes cafeteria mystery meat look gourmet! yea it's gross I know. Lets go watch my cat play with a ball of yarn that's twice as cute and 40 times more humane!
Posted by: Holly at July 27, 2009 8:25 PM"hey are did you go to the circus? it seems really cool!"
"if by cool you mean watching an innocent animal thats been beaten, abused, and neglected that are forced to perform in front of thousands of people because its afraid of being beaten, abused and neglected some more,...than no im not going. and you shouldn't either, you add to their pain and suffering"
Me: "You are going to pay these so called "people" to brutally expose creatures that have NEVER, done anything wrong, just so you can get a kick out of watching an elephant step on a stool, out of pure, human induced terror."
Other person who is attending circus: "No! I would never do such a thing! I'm just taking my kids so they can ride an elephant!"
Me: "That is just as bad, maybe worse! Those "Trainers", train by whipping the poor things to do those "beloved" tricks!"
Other person who is attending circus: "What are you talking about? Circus animals have great lives; they have animal-human relations, lots of space to roam when they stop for breaks, and they get fresh food and quality water supplies, right?"
Me: "No, you are horribly wrong. Now, just listen to me, I'm not a crazy hippie, we have media proof! Check out this link and watch this video, please, for the animals."
Other person who is attending circus: "Okay."
The next day...
'''Phone rings'''

And to think they want to make a video game or this travesty? I still can't believe that these animals abusers aren't put inside seeing as there's video evidence! This world is so corrupt... :(
Posted by: Holly at July 28, 2009 4:59 AMWhen you think of a circus, what do you think of? Lighthearted fun? Clowns? The animals? Circuses may be fun.....for you. Think of all the poor elephants that are forced to perform the stunts, some very dangerous...That have been forced to live in such tight quarters...such cruel conditions. The circus trainers "train" the poor creatures by whipping them. I've read countless stories of the elephants people go to the circus to watch perform..of them getting injured and then the circus owners don't properly clean and treat their wounds. I've also heard stories of elephants turning on their "owners" because of how cruelly they have treated them. And what about the tigers? The monkeys? They keep them in cages...much too small..and very unclean, unsanitary, and unhealthy living conditions. Please. Next time you think of "The greatest show on Earth", think of the poor creatures behind it. Thank you.

Posted by: at July 28, 2009 9:56 AMThe thing i would say to someone attending the circus would be that, whilst they were there to take a moment or two to look at the animals that they are watching being made to do things, I would ask them how they would feel if that was them in that position being proded and pushed all over the place, and ask them if they think the circus is as fun as it looks. Im sure they're oppinion would be different. Besides it aint entertainment to watch animals suffer in pain whilst over 200 people watch in joy. Just shows what sort of world we live in. I know what side im on and it isnt animal cruelty. Something should be done about it. soon.

Don't you remember Dumbo? That movie is so true, but it's just that in real life animals in the circus don't always have a happy ending."
Posted by: at July 29, 2009 11:47 AM"Hey, you, animal torture is fun for you right? Well for me it makes me want to torture you. It isn't fair to make elephants wear skirts and hats and have to be tortured and put through stupid things, I sure wish I could do that to you."
Tara.
Posted by: at July 29, 2009 11:47 AMIf I knew someone that was going to go to the circus I would probably say something like, "What do you think about animal cruelty, using animal hooks and inhumane methods of keeping animals?" and see what the person has to say. I wouldn't sugarcoat the facts after that and I would just let them know supporting circuses, like Ringling Brothers, aren't the best decisions to make.
Posted by: Kirsten at July 29, 2009 12:30 PMyou're kidding right?
so you're going to go support the mass torture of an already endangered species?
oh and not only are you supporting it, but you're going to WATCH it and CLAP and CHEER for all the BULLSHIT thats going on around you?
you're disgusting.
you like whips? how about electrically-charged whips?
sound like fun to you?
who's the one cheering for this, huh?
cuz i dont see you smiling about it.
YOU CANNOT DO THAT, Think about the example you are setting!! Think about what you are contributing to!! The circus can be fun and should be fun but not if it involves unethical treatment of such beautiful, majestic creatures. Animals should be loved and respected, and not abused, please rethink the circus, let's eat Tofu!!
Posted by: at July 29, 2009 12:48 PMoh... i didn't know you liked torture. oh well. i'm going to the mall!
and then they would be like wait... what?
and i would explain to them what happens!

f::"that sounds better than any circes ever will!! see u tomarow"
m::"bye see u tomarow"
I would but now that I know wat those poor animals, especially the elephants, go through, there is no way I could possibly bare to sit and watch the results of forced and tortured animal traning for our selfish entertainment. If going to a circus and watch physically abused animals being forced to sacrifice their lifes and freedom is what everyone calles a good time then call me boring but atleast I'll be at peace by not supporting these heartless monsters that put those animals through all of that pain and sorrow. So.... do u still wanna go or do you wanna go to this great vegetarina cafe i know of?!! =]]

Circuses are for clowns nit animal cruelty!

Person: "hey guess what, im going to the circus"
Me: "so you support cruelty?"
Person: "uh... no?"
Me: "well the circus may be entertainment for you, but its definitely not for the poor animals that are beaten until they perform the amazing 'tricks' you see. they are treated very cruelly and put under severe stress. these animals dont live happy lives, and thats not fair. you really want to expose your children such glorified cruelty?"
Person: "wow, im not going now"
Me: "great! tell you friends, spread the word!!!"
ypu, thats how itll go down. :)
pick me!
A Friend:
"Sarah said your not coming to the circus with us, why won't you come?"
Me:
"I am sorry, but going to a torture zone does not interest me. I feel by attending a place that you experience live torture is despicable. By paying for your entry your keeping the people that put these poor animals in pain, distress and are responsible for many of them not ever seeing daylight, in business, your basically paying the workers salary, or contributing to it anyway. I personally couldn't live with myself if i did that, and answer me this, how can you?"
A Friend:
Silence.
Me:
"If you don't believe me, check out Peta2.com, you can even watch a video filmed by uncover investigaters, and then my friend, you'll have proof of the horrendous metal and physical torture these poor animals are being imprisoned to put up with, and you'll be able to believe me."
You are taking your children to the circus? You need to be prepared! Are they going to wear chains on their legs so they can be controled? Will you take an electric prodder to keep them in line or a whip to beat them if they don't do what you want?
What a learning experince for your children, they will understand what it is like to be a circus preformer...
"Oh, really you're going to circus? Well, why not just stay home and I'll force your dog and cat to do unrealistic and back-breaking tricks for your own personal amusement. Then, after that we can beat them into cages! It's all the fun of the circus without going!"

i lol just wouldnt really say that but it would if they wanted to get into a heated convo about it :)
Posted by: at July 29, 2009 5:15 PMI'm sure when you were little and you went to the circus, you said "look mommy, there's the elephants and ringleaders!" not, "look mommy, there's the ringleaders punching bag & the horrible guy who does it!" if people are more aware of what people do to animals at the circus, or even any business, we could run them out of there business & show them what the deserve. DAAA don't allow animal abuse, ever.
Posted by: Logan Westcott at July 29, 2009 6:26 PM"Hey I'm going to the circus tomorrow. Wanna come?"

Posted by: at July 29, 2009 7:57 PM"Ummm, Yea, I wonder what YOU would look like all caged up until they'd want to prance you around thousands of people to do special tricks! Now THAT'S something for the BIG TENT!!"
Posted by: SUSAN at July 29, 2009 8:02 PMSeriously, are you really going to pay money to see abused animals just getting humilated? It's not fun, funny or anything of the such. If you still wanna go, visit RinglingBeatsAnimals.com and tell me if you'd STILL wanna go. If you STILL wanna go after that, then I might have to use a bullhook to knock some sense into you!
Posted by: Ciara L at July 29, 2009 9:01 PMIdf I knew someone was going to attend the circus I might say something a long the lines of, "If someone could train your dog or cat neat little tricks for free, that'd be awesome right? What if you learned they were using treats to train them, that would be even better right? Well, what if someone told you they were planning on training you dog or cat by whipping them, eletricuting them or some other harmful treatment, you'd hightail it out of therem, correct? Then why is it ok, for you to go to the circus to pay money for people to do things to those animals you'd kill them if they did to yours?"

oh and i REALLY would not like to view the tricks the elephants have been tortured into learning when they hooked hookes through the elephants noses and poked/stabbed them with stakes OH and when they chain their legs with cuffs so there really is no way for the elephants to free themselves from the torture they live throtugh each and every days 365 DAYS A YEAR. I really dont want to got to a circus freak torture show; it only supports this torture for the poor babies i love,
if anything ill be there protesting TORTURE; PROTECTING the animals, our lovely babies, are you planning on going?
How can you attend an event that tortures animals for you own amusement? I really thought you were better than that.

Boyfriend: *looking at circus flier*
Me: Don't even think about it buddy. How would you like to be beaten with a bullhook, cursed at all day, chained, starved, exposed to the heat and cold for hours, even days on end, and then forced to perform for hundereds and thousands of people? Sad people who get entertainment out of suffering, and are too blind to see that the circus is no circus for the animals.
Boyfriend: We'll go to the ice-rink instead.
Posted by: at July 30, 2009 12:33 AMDude, seriously? You get amusement out of watching hurt and mega tired animals perform out of fear? Thats pathetic. Thats supporting abuse. Eff that. I recommend you dont go.
lolz all around.
Posted by: at July 30, 2009 12:53 AMO wow are you really going? Because if you are maybe you would like to know what they do to the poor elephants and tigers! Well maybe you shouldn't but I on the other Hand would never step foot in a circus! Just to let you know!

Posted by: Alethea Busch at July 30, 2009 1:48 AMthe circus is no place for children. Your showing kids that torturing and abusing animals is fun. If you really want to stop animal abuse then you need to stop from the begining. A circus is like a clown they may look fun and happy on the outside but on the inside they're scary dirty and full of lies. So stop the abuse by stop going to the circus.

-What? Don't you know that they hurt those poor animals? How could you do that? They are tourchured. You know that animals can feel pain to, right? They have feelings just like you and I! Everyday they are hurt and tourchured just so some people like you can go have fun at some stupid circus. When you are paying to get in, your paying to have an animal tourchured and abused everyday! No way am I going! You should go vegan like me! Don't eat meat! Don't let animals get hurt! Here come with me and i'll take you to show you how you can sign up on Peta2.com and help stop the madness!

Posted by: at July 30, 2009 5:32 AMoh yeah going to watch some poor animals get whipped is always fun. are you serious?! just imagine being that poor elephant. it gets whipped and tortured all its life. trained to be whipped and just be scared of humans. and for what? for you to go pay money to watch these poor things. and what do you do, laugh. now, if you actually want to support this. I'm not going take part. but if you change your mind, we should go and tell the rest of these people what they are wasting their money, and time on.

No! I cannot stand to see those people treat those poor innocent animals that way.. i may only be 13 but i do understand that its unnacceptable for those selfish, rude people to treat the elephants and tigers the way that they do! And i would really prefer that you didnt go.. i mean i do understand that you want your kids to see that circus and enjoy it but theres really nothing to enjoy about torturing animals.. And you know we can stop this cruelty if you spread the word to your friends and family, then we can stop this cruelty together.
Posted by: at July 30, 2009 8:10 AMNo, I won't be joining you when you go to the circus... Those poor, abused animals have to be TERRIFIED! Have you seen the way they're treated as slaves and forced to do things that don't come naturally, simply for our amusement? HAVEN'T YOU EVER SEEN DUMBO?? Remember how alone and frightened he felt? I know you're a good person -- do you really want to contribute to more Dumbos feeling that way? ...I didn't think so. Let's go to the airport or mall and people-watch instead. Humans are fascinating! It's free, fun, and most importantly, nobody gets hurt. : )

Posted by: caitlin at July 30, 2009 11:34 AMElephants are such beautiful and pure animals how could you stand to watch such a wonderful creature be put in pain. ive protested at LA zoo for billy the elephant they deserve the best sanctuary possible. they would never hurt you and look in their eyes. so gentle and calm this is outrageous. We to boycott and stand up for whats right! Im a vegetarian and do everything i can for elephants. To hurt such defenseless animals shows what kind of state of mind you have or to watch. Why let it happen to theirs?
Think about it.
-I'm going to the circus
-The circus? You're actually paying someone to use bullhooks, whips and electrical shock prods to torture animals which were most-likely torn from their mothers and taken out of their natural environment at a young age to be dragged around the country and kept in cramped, unhygenic conditions and to perform unnatural and unnecessary tricks? Boycott animal circuses. You can choose - they can't.
You're going to the circus? Why not come over to my place instead? I've got ropes for tying you to the wall, and I'll borrow my grandmothers cane to beat you with. We'll invite the neighbor kids over for the human circus, starring you, and this way you can take part in the whole experience. Sounds fun, yea?

Circuses take animals from their homes and beat & torture them into performing dangerous tricks. Animals aren't meant to live on this earth as a form of shallow entertainment. Are you really going to help fund the abuse of these animals?
Posted by: at July 30, 2009 10:59 PMOkay so i was listening to 107.9 the end in Sacremento. They said that they were giving out free tickets to go see Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey. Before this I had gotten a emial from peta saying that there was a demostration for Ringling brothers cruelty... I asked my mom to go but she said no theni was cancelled... Any way. I checked out what peta had to say... I got mad, sad angry, and excited, excited for all the things i could do since it was comeing to sacremento... anyway... So when 107.9 the end said they were giving them away and that people should go see it i texted them and told them these things.... ( this is right from my phone...) This is the first i sent...
PLease dont advertise Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey, they are mean to their animals, they use bullhooks wich are sticks with hooks on them that they use to hit the elephants on their legts and faces. Please, just by not mentioninf it you can help stop this abuse of the animals the animals. Thank you.

They were talking about it agian and i said:
Please dont promote barnum and bailey circus they are mean and hurt and abuse their animals.
That time they actually responded and said: TheEnd:thanks megan...
Argh i though it finaly got threw then... it happend AGIAN! heres what i said... i was starting to get angrery...
Please dont advertise the ringling brothers they abuse their animals!!! Its soooooooooo cruel!!!They really abuse their elephants! At least advise people not to go!!! Or dont give away the tickets please!! Its not fair to the other elephants and the other animals!
Now i was really angery...they gave away the tickets to a mother being harrased by her child to get them for her...
PLEASE dont advertise Ringling brothers they abuse their animals!! How would you like to bbe tottaly taken aways from your family, humiliated infront of peopl and be locked in a cage when you should be free with your friends! How would you lick to be whipped and hit witha a sharp ogject called a bullhook. I have nothing agianst the end and love the end!!! But please you can do so much by doing something so little... Please. Thank you for listening.

Posted by: Megan at July 30, 2009 11:27 PMI once rode on a camel at the Bronx zoo. It was five dollars a ride. The money went to the support fund of helping to care for the animals in the zoo. The camels were treated well, every so often they'd be given breaks and drinks. The zoo is a place for the animals to have a good life, being raised in a healthy habitat. At the circus..? Have you ever been ? I know I have. My parents took me when I was 4, me and my sister. I can not deny that. I was young. As I have gotten older, that camel ride has really taught me alot. When you ride and elephant at the zoo.. do you know where that money is going towards ? The torture of all the animals forcefully being trained to do stunts that are not natural. Don't support that, don't attend the circus, when you know the animals are being forced into unhealthy living styles and treatment. It's not right, it really isn't. Take a ride on a camel at the Bronx Zoo, maybe it will give you the same picture it has given me about the Circus.

They are abused both physically and emotionally. They have feelings. The can feel the pain they are forced to endure. They can sense your gaze burning through them as you watch them perform things animals should NEVER have to do. They shouldn't be in captivity, they should be roaming free. To you, a circus is entertainment. To an innocent captivated animal, it's the cruelest show on earth. Posted by: Amanda Diaz at July 31, 2009 2:24 AMI would tell them what I have told many people over the years. Why would you want to go to a place that captures animals, imprisons them, tortures them, and makes them perform tricks they do not want to perform in front of hundreds of shouting, laughing, and clapping humans? How is that entertaining? Not to mention the clowns are scary as hell! Imagine being a confused animal looking at a human with bold colors and paint all over there face in some strange and demented grimace making all sort of bizarre noises and acting out of character- eeep! Why would any decent human being want to support such a horrific display? How could you?

I bet if you looked a circus animal in the eye, you would not be filled with fun and laughs, but sadness and guilt."
Thats what I would say. And I would mean every word.
I think circusis are HORRIBLE! They are not write to the animals. I dont know why anyoe would want to do something like that. I know people see it as intertament, but why. I know the first time that i went I felt sooooooooooo sorry For the poor animals. They have to do stupid tricks for us. They dont look HAPPY!. I couldn't stand sitting through another Barnum & Bailey torture act.. And I'm terrified of the clowns, lol.
No, i cant watch the circus. I will think of what goes on behind the walls. The beating of the animals is distgusting. You pay to see dying animals. Your money goes toward more things to torcher the animals with. I will not support such an awful cause.

Posted by: Amber at August 4, 2009 10:19 PM"Hey are you going to the circus tonight in town today," My friend, Cilaeria, asked.
"No, are you insane? Do you know how badly those people treat those poor, defenseless animal?" I answered.
"No, explain for me,"she asked.
"Well for one, animals should not be locked up or displayed for peoples amusements. They should be put back in their natural habitats. Those animals are poorly treated than you think they are. Would you be able to stand an elephant or a tiger screaming in pain, while their being whipped by their owners? I couldn't possibly stand to hear an animals scream of writhering pain. Elepants and other animals are not borned to be able to ride bicycles, stand on their head, balance ball ,or even jump through a ring of fire. Those animals were tortured and slaved by their owners to do them. They use all sorts of thing like whips, tight collars, muzzles, bullhooks, and other painful ways to teach animals to do that kind of stuff. Animals are beautiful creatures. What if humans, like us, were slaved to entertain people that way. How would you feel to be whipped to jump through a hoop of fire? Thats how those abused animals feel. Animals should be set off to roam in the wild not to be displayed for our entertainment. I hope that answers you question." I finally answered back.
why would you go to the circuses? there is no reason for u to pay to see animals do dumb tricks. there is no reason for it, aniamls are not on this earth for our entertanment and they will never be.
Posted by: Courtney Brothers at August 5, 2009 4:29 PMSince my friends are at the age where they still go to the circus I would tell them the truth about what they really see when they go there. Besides elephants I am sure that there are other animals are hurt as well. All because people want to pay for so called "harmless" entertainment.

For years circus' have been under scrutiny for the inhumane ways these animals are treated. And now thanks to the work of PETA some people have been able to refuse the chance to go to the circus and help put a stop to the disgusting treatment of these poor elephants and possibly even more animals that are abused every day just to perform tricks you could teach your dog.
I would tell anyone planning to attend a circus all the facts of cruelty that occur for a human's entertainment. I would tell them that animals should not be used for our entertainment and it is up to us to stop the abuse by not going to any circuses. I would tell them to think of the innocent lives and how they are forced to do tricks and are beaten and taken away from their natural environments at such a young age. I would not only tell them to not go to the circus but I would tell them to join me in helping end all use of animals in circuses, for it is up to us humans to end abuse towards animals and to respect all types of life.

Posted by: at August 11, 2009 3:01 PMWe need to be Kind to others and always treat others like we want to be treated and that includes Animals and every living thing. We all belong to GOD and he says: Thou shalt NOT kill and all the other commandments in the Bible!
Thanks, CECE
I would say you know tha the treat thier elephants bad an d if you go you are basically supporting animal crualey. You are enjoying animals being hurt.
Posted by: perla at August 12, 2009 6:53 PMNo I will not go to the circus. Those poor animals are beaten senseless daily and sometimes RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! people think its just part of the show. Do you realize how many elephants and tigers die every year due to the abuse of a circus???? I dout that you do. but seriously think about it. when you buy a ticket too a show you are supporting the cruelty of the animals in danger. If you go you will lose a friend. enough said!

Posted by: at August 19, 2009 12:48 PM"it makes me so sick to see what they are doing to these elephants!!!!! how would they feel if i whipped and beat them for entrainment?!? it makes me wanna cry watching stuff like that. elephants are my FAVORITE animal. it makes my stomach turn seeing animals being hurt."
Posted by: at August 19, 2009 1:19 PM"I'm going to the circus how about you"
"No! I could never go to a circus. Don't you know what the circus handlers and trainers do to those animals. They abuse them. Animals aren't meant to do tricks, and in order to learn how to do the tricks they beat, whip, and electrically shock the animals. I can't watch the abuse being displayed before a crowd as if it is okay. I am surprised if you still go after I told you this."
Posted by: at August 19, 2009 11:34 PMAhh i see you are going to the circus , so i guess it amuses you seeing animals being held against their wills , being forced to preform for what? a mere amount of food and being locked in cages all their lives. you should be ashamed of yourself
Posted by: at August 20, 2009 7:41 PM"You would go to the circus? Dude, do you know what they do there? They whip their elephants, and tigers, and just treat them like slaves! Would you like to go through that? And its all for show. Seriously? Please just give a thought against going to see it. I just don't see why you would pay good money to see poor animals that have been treated like crap perform. Just give a thought against it please. Thanks.
Posted by: Lorenzo Bright at August 24, 2009 4:21 PMCan you imagine having a hook plunged into you skin. Can you imagine being whipped across you face or your back or your arms. Can you imagine being repeatedly hit until they are sure it hurts. Can you inagine being forced to perform. Can you imagine being tortured. No. Because you dont think about those things. Do you? you just see the finished product...Look deeper...you'll see.
