But Rory and Kim know some guys have a little junk in the trunk too. Then I go and run for about a half hour, come home, eat lunch, make sure I get all my protein for that time period and go back out and ride my bike. Plus, every Saturday, I go horseback riding(non leather tack and bitless bridles) which helps my core.

Then I like to give him carrots. He likes to sit on my lap and swing at the park. There was a photographer there one day who came and took a picture. It was really neat.

You will never be healthy/in shape if you are a couch potato! The best feeling there is, is when you finish a 30 mins cardio workout! You feel like you can take on anything or anybody!!! :-)

And it's really interesting, after you go you think about food totally differently. I can't even keep food on my mind! And it lasts a life time. Hell.. i'm a teenager so i hardly follow it. lol.

I am a pole-dancing fanatic! Far from being a seedy activity taken up by those working in strip clubs, it is a real body-toning wonder and exercises your arms, abs, everything, and makes you feel as good on the inside as you become to look on the outside! I'd reccommend it to anyone.

If it isn't grown on a farm (fruits and vegetables of course!), then you probably shouldn't eat it because it doesn't have the proper nutrients your body needs. Also on the plus side is that fruits and vegetables are virtually cheaper than processed chips, meats and other junk foods! The best exercise to keep your heart healthy is cardio, which can come for free if you take a quick run or jog around your neighborhood!! It's THE best way to stay in shape while staying within your budget!

i really like the feeling jogging after i'm all tired and sore. it's a really great warm up.
i also like to lift weights at the main focus of exercise. always remember to workout different sets of muscles every day! that way, you allow time for your muscles to heal.
and as a warm down, really like to do Tai Chi. it's a great way to stretch out all the muscles i just worked out. and the breathing that is required during Tai Chi (called natural breathing) is awesome for getting oxygen to all your muscles and really helps the blood flow.
and of course, being vegan!
all this has really helped me lose a lot of weight. i was 200 lbs, and since working out and being vegan, i'm now down to 160!

Not only am I getting excercise but so are they and they get a kick out of it. They like to pretend they are running away from a monster who likes to eat children, then there are those who chase me as I'm chasing others to protect their friends from the monster. This usually lasts an hour or until I collaps.

Such as nature walks, swimming, biking, yoga, pilates, dancing, etc. I think it is so important to do different types of exercise to keep you from getting bored. I also think it's great to mix things up because you end up working different muscle groups. Peace, love & happiness to all!

You'll have a healthy sweat and plus, cultivating the dirt isn't so easy either. An organic garden takes specific attention for weed pulling and bug killing :). This way, you also know where your food is from and don't have to worry about harmful pesticides getting into your system.

I got in shape with Skinny bitch and he is insanely jealous but won't read it because it's "too girly." Obviously, I know he was joking because I came in one day and found him working out to my Skinny Bitch Bootcamp dvd. He was mortified at first but now we do it together often. I love this collection and would love to be able to share the books with my man :)

Also as I love salads I eat excessive amounts of it, so I will have a salad day once every so often where I detox myself with water and a different type of salad for each meal. Usually I do that once a month.
I think my boyfriend could do with this book. He can't keep up with me runing xD

Second I stay in shape by walking around town and or the mall handing out leaflets on animal abuse in the circus and in the farm factories. Third I put on my headphones crank up some tunes and ride my bike A LOT! I found that when you listen to mogwai when you work out you work more intense as the song gets more intense.

Which is an old Scottish sport where you pick up and then throw a massive wooden pole the size of a light pole. I use half cabers, which are about half the size of the men's, but it's a great way to stay in shape and it's a lot of fun!!

No fatty cheeses and hormone-saturated meats! I also try to exercise at least 3 to 4 times per week for 30 minutes to an hour. Since following this advice, I'm in the best shape of my life and I can pretty much eat anything I want to. Being vegan rocks! And I feel even MORE awesome because I know I'm not supporting animal cruelty and murder!

All it takes is some irrigation tubing and one connector and you have yourself a custom sized hula hoop! Add water for weight to really drop the pounds or rice if you like to hear your hips shimmy! My favorite way to stay active is dancing.. I clog competitively. I won a Junior All-American on my very first year of competition. I would not have been in good enough shape to do that if I was still eating meat!!

After having read this book and realizing all the nonsense I've been putting in my body for the last 25 years is assinine!!! Because of this book I've made a life changing commitment to be more healthy in the kithcen and better my workout regimen!! Now my boyfriend and I kayak four miles twice a week rain or shine and have been very busy rearranging our yard to accomodate a decent size veggie and herb garden... I never knew how much work gardening is till now!!

I always loved it when people called me a 'skinny bastard' ;-) I've been trying this mantra: "belly fat be gone, belly fat be gone", but it hasn't worked yet ;-)
Perhaps getting off my lazy a** will help but there's no incentive, AND I work all the time, but I reckon working as a bartender doesn't help... perhaps it's time for a new mantra: "Stay away from the beer!" and "READ THE BOOK AND DO IT!" (I already cut meat and fish out of my diet ages ago, so that already helps!)

There's so much to see around the city and so much to walk, and there are many animals like cats and dogs that i get to see on these walks and i like to stop and pet them and just feel really animal friendly.

Weekends are playing drums with my band and being outside in beautiful San Diego. I also get plenty of sleep (at least 8 hrs.) to have overall balance.

I also have a rule that I can only listen new albums that I download on my iPod while I'm jogging. So, if I get the new Phoenix album from iTunes and I'm really excited to hear it, I have to go out for a 45 minute run.
I normally keep fit by walking loads for my photography class, other than that my oly other way is when my aunties ducklings and chickens escape from their pen, and I have to chase then around her yard for a few hours. :)
also, being vegetarian/Vegan, of course. :D
My favorite way to get in shape, and stay in shape, is by playing lacrosse. I have to have great core strength, because I am the goalie, so I do bosu ball workouts. They are great for core strength and balance. I also stick to a vegetarian diet. :)

I like to work out and not know im working out! (silly, I know) but it works for me. I eat right, I drink a lot of water and green tea and have completely cut out all carbonated drinks. I snack on fruits and when I feel like eating junk food, I opt for the 100 calorie packs instead of full figured junk food lol!

Not to mention toting around three water buckets a day. You get a full arm work out when you groom and bathe your horse. Of course riding gives a full upper body and lower body work out. My favorite arm exercise is to fill the wheelburrow with manure and lift it up and down while walking to the manure pile. Then, of course, when Dixie doesnt want to come in from the pasture, there is lots of walking in the hot sun involved! After just a couple of months of this anyone will be leaner, stronger, sweatier, and more tan too!

So in order to make my self work out, i get on the treadmill or bike and get a sweat while watching my favorite shows! i also still eat my favorite foods, i just try making them healthier! I make my nachos with salsa, black beans, lettuce and shredded soy cheese, Yummmm!

in terminator and yeah, cool guy. Together we went from flab to fab. Anyways,I also like to play wii fit and DDR to get past those leftover tricky calories. I also like to pretend i'm on a bicycle on my bed so I pedal till I get bored.
At the end of the day, at exactly 12 o'clock I take out a banana from under my pillow just for good measure and because they are really healthy and stop me from getting the munchies and eating leftover calorie dripping good stuff in my fridge.

well first of all i eat healthy. don't eat meat. simple as that and avoid junk food. being vegeterian is a good way to start then slowly go into being vegan. (which by the way is what i doing) By doing so your helping animals, the plant , and your self in so many ways. i'm a cross copuntry runner so running about 6 to 7 miles a day helps alot. but for people who aren't runners try walking ur dog or sitting on a medicine ball while watching tv or playing video games, or reading. belive it or not ur working out ur core muscles and ur legs as well as ur balance. which will give u a sexy body .
My favorite way to get in shape is to dance with friends! Or having to run all the way back to the table a little ways into a hike from your parked car after you've realized that you've left your keys on the bench that you and a friend were eating lunch at, though you must get home in time for you have a party to go mustn't be late! ...Happened to me once... I probably lost like a whole extra lb. x)

Additionally, I keep a set of weights in my room to remind me to lift every other day. Also, opting to bicycle or walk instead of drive when possible always helps.

(P.S. Not eating fatty meat also helps, a bonus perk of being a vegetarian)

also, I like to move around in a pool, for about an hour per day, just blow bubbles and go from one side to an other, playing around! :D

My favorite way to get in shape is to think of all the people that were skinny in high school that are no longer skinny and pretend that i am smaller then them and that usually works...the pounds just drop off me!!

And its always really fun when im exercising, but it really feels like im not!
on top of my veggie diet i love running it frees your mind if you have a lot of stress, and it gets rid of all over body fat instead of focusing on one part of your body. You will look awesome!

My favorite way to stay in shape is to eat jumk food! I barely ever gain weight, I'm not lieing. I love my high metabolism! If I do gain a little all I have to do is rest or play outside for a bit. No problem for me because I love nature.

Well i would have to say listening to the dietician and condider that if you dont you may not live for a long time. that does it for me so hear i am day 4 trying to eat salads and fat free milk and eating 6 times a day. and walking will be on my agenda now.

My favorite way to exercise is to go out in my garden, mow the lawn, rake the grass... Firms up my abs and my butt thats for sure :) It does help keep me in shape.
In winter months, I turn on my music and dance my heart out until Im tired! Thats a good workout as well!

Martial Arts is originally what got me fit, then Vegetarianism just put the slam-bam into it and now I feel better than ever in my life! eeyayah!
I keep in shape by eating an immense amount of raw foods (fruits and veggies galore), rock climbing, dancing salsa and west coast swing, rollerblading, and practising yoga and Pilates. Life is all about what keeps me laughing, having fun, and feeling good!

I even walk to go get things for my mom and dad like treats at the store and some times something quick like butter or milk. I do other exercise but you asked for my favorite way so you got it.
I go kayaking. It's a kickass upper body workout that builds muscle pretty quickly. Plus, there's always hot guys out kayaking or canoeing so my girlfriends and I show off by having races upstream. Usually, said hot guys are impressed and we all dock at an island and hang out or trade off tandem-yak or canoe partners and flirt and paddle at the same time. We usually pack hummus and veggies, chips and salsa, or something else vegan and homemade to share. It's worth it and it works both for fitness and social life!
Eat less, exercise more!!

With that aside, I adore these "Skinny" books and I haven't read this one yet but I'm definitely looking forward to it and passing it around to my boyfriend, mom, and other people who should read these books.

I like to do it while I am talking on the phone or have a little steam to blow off. It works one of the largest muscle areas in your body...your legs.

I bike to class and love to dance at random times when i feel like it in my apartment and looking ridiculous and also going out for real dancing with friends. I like to switch it up so anything new and active is on the plate for me- rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, yoga, classes at the gym. woo!

I love to take the stairs whenever I have the chance and walk rather than taking the subway when I can! For a late night activity, my stationary bike does the trick, and during the day turning up some great music and just dancing around is the best! I figure if I walk to and from work and take the stairs rather than the escalator or elevator, I can even enjoy a piece of vegan chocolate cake the odd time :)

Posted by: at July 24, 2009 6:26 PMMy way to get in shape is working at Curves where I'm a Fitness Tech I help the women out with thier workouts along with getting my own in. I also go there on my days off to get a full workout in myself. I also take my two dogs for walks everyday. And volenteering at camps.
