Pretty much the only thing being talked about in the UK right now is the weather. Snow! It's taking over our lives here! I have to say I'm a huge fan of snow—before it turns to mush and gets all slip slidey!

This is my first snowman (and yes I was out playing in the snow in my pyjamas!):

My friend Tim and I also made a snow bear!

I was able to wrap up warm and retire to my nice warm house (and have a cuppa tea!) after a few hours of playing in the snow. But, although cats and dogs are equipped with fur coats, they can still suffer from frostbite and exposure to the cold temperatures without adequate shelter.
Be sure to clean off your dogs' or cats' legs, feet and stomachs after they come in from the snow. Salt and other chemicals can make animals sick if they are ingested whilst cleaning themselves. Make sure you keep your companion animals inside—especially elderly and small animals.
P.S. How many of you already thought about doing the dirty mission in the snow and getting some Street Team points that way?

Another snow tip for your companions - if you dog gets clumps of snow caught between the pads of his/her paws then trim their fur and it will happen less.
