Seems like I can't go a day without hearing about some cold front blowin' through somewhere. All of us at peta2 have been feeling the chill lately too. And since the majority of groundhogs across the nation saw their shadows on Monday, we're looking at an extra six weeks of winter! YUK!
So, in response to this depressing news, we thought the best way to lift everyone's spirits was to give away our BRAND NEW 'Mean People Wear Fur' t-shirts! In belgium we have a song from an artist who has many fans among both children and adults.
One of his most famous songs is called "ik hou niet van madammen met een bontjas". Some of the lyrics are dutch for "I dont like women with fur coats, women with fur coats are mean. From their skin I make a bed, from their nose I make electricity plugs" and so on…
So when I see a fur hag I sing this song. Its a common thing to do in the JNM (flemish youth movement for nature) where I am a member.
i would tell that fur hag that an animal wouldnt wear her we couldnt even fathom such an awful site but animals are living creatures that feel pain just like we do so she should not wear them either.
