Sea Kittens animal rights news
I sit here at PETA HQ every day and come across a ton of stories in which animal rights, vegetarianism and veganism, and peta2 are discussed. It's incredibly inspiring to know that the work we are all doing is making such a difference. Thank you!
Here are some samples of recent articles in the news:
- "George the giant lobster liberated from restaurant" from CNN
- "PETA: Spearfish school should be called Sea Kitten" from The Associated Press which ran in papers all over the world!
- "Thank you veggie much, James" from the Liverpool Echo
- "City health chief's food fight targets meat" from the Chicago Tribune which includes a quote, "(i)f it walks, runs, hops, flies, swims, crawls or slithers, I won't eat it. If it has eyes, I won't eat it. If it had a momma and a daddy, I won't eat it..."
Which is your favorite story?

i saw the lobster one in my paper. i really hope nobody catches him and eats him, since that would be a pretty depressing ending.
Posted by: cody at January 12, 2009 5:41 PMI saw The Spearfish school story on the FOX News Channel! I also saw the lobster story on their Website =)
Posted by: Curtis at January 13, 2009 1:54 AMThey're all good stories but I think my favourite has got to be the story from the Chicago Tribune - it really spreads awareness of how healthy a vegetarian diet is.
Posted by: Little_Lotte at January 13, 2009 8:42 AMI think I like the Thank you veggie much James.
