Vote for Your Fave Banned Super Bowl Ad! January 27, 2009

Posted by Lara Sanders | Permalink | Comments ( 20 ) | TrackBack

Some people watch the Super Bowl for the game, and others watch it for the crazy commercials. This year, I'm watching it for both, because the Steelers (my team) are playing.

One commercial you won't see on February 1st is PETA's new "Veggie Love" ad. This racy commercial was a little too hot for TV if you know what I mean ... thank goodness you can see it here! Check it out.

This isn't the first PETA ad that has been banned from being played during the Super Bowl. Below are my top five favorites.

1. "Sexy Sausage"

2. "Sex Talk"

3. "Milk Gone Wild"

4. "Kentucky Fried Cruelty: The Movie"

5. "Veggie Love"

Comment below to vote for which commercial you like best!

P.S. Go Steelers!

The "Milk Gone Wild" video has scarred me for life, hahaha.
I'm obsessed with the KFC Movie, although Sex Talk comes in a close second! :)

I'm really sorry, but those are disgusting--and I wouldn't want little boys watching football with their families to see any of those.

Sex Talk is awesome! That's my favorite. Funny and can spread the message!
But the KFC one is the most shocking one, it would probably have the most effort.

Well I don't like the sex one, it was kinda disturbing. I mean evn little KIDS would be watching that and I wouldn't want any kid to see it. But, gee, if it keeps getting banned, why don't you make one that DOESN'T include profanity and sexual references? I mean, make a commercia EVERYONE can see and want to go veg! That would be a better idea, right?

I love PETA and wonderful work I truly do, however, I am not a fan of this at all. You have to realize that families do watch the Super Bowl. Not only that, I am a feminist and I do not believe that women should be used like that, to look trashy. I just think that PETA could have a much better, more wholesome ad. Because it is so racy, now you cannot spread the word on becoming a vegetarian. Let's aim a little higher next time and let the world see the goodness in becimg a vegetarian.

I like 'veggie love.'

PETA should do some ads for the superbowl that won't be banned since people need to know about animal cruelty especially since most people that watch the superbowl are fat meatheads.Just saying...

i love the Milk Gone Wild, i was cracking up. But i have a younger brother whose 7 and watches the game with our grandpa every year, so i probably would want him to see Veggie Love, even if it was pretty hot.
