fur vegetarian president inauguration change yes we can
There's excitement in the air today—excitement, change, hope. With hundreds of thousands of people descending upon DC over the past few days for the Presidential Inauguration, PETA had to be there, too, as there's no better time than now to spread the message of animal rights. peta2's very own mascot of compassion made the trek up to DC to spread the "Yes We Can (Go Veg)" message to the masses. Check it out!

And of course our bunny, raccoon, and fox were out and about asking people to be fur-free.

Do you think the American people will carry the message of change over to the treatment of animals? I have high hopes considering all the changes we saw last year.

I hope it does. Everything's changing, why not people's views towards the treatment of animal?

The whole world seems to be mover closer towards animal rights so I'm expecting wonderful new changes for 2009 and the future.
