Free Stuff Friday: Skate Deck and peta2 Stickers! November 21, 2008

I love the fact that skateboarders are big on the no fur thing! I skateboard myself, so it makes me pretty stoked to find out that others dislike fur too. I would like to win, cause that board is awesome and whenI bring it to the new skate park I can be all like look guys I got this from PETA! and use it to start conversations ^^

I always feel a bit odd when answering questions about why *I* should win something, I believe everyone in the Street Team deserves an award for all that they do for animals.
So I'm commenting to say I *don't* want to win this, I think it should go to a skater who tries really hard to promote AR.

I love the fact that you can do what you love, as in skateboarding, and do what you love as in animal rights. As a girl, when i skate, the guys dont really talk about A.R unless i bring it up, but if i had the board, i wouldnt need to, and it would promote A.R to other skaters, and because we're so cool, people will want to ask why, and it will be a perfect oppotinity to tell them, and get them involved. Especially is such an idol as Shane Harrison is for it. I could also use the stickers to put around the ramps and rails. it would be totally amazing. And besides my deck id pretty battered.

when every body would ask me about where i got that niceee board from, i would tell them i won it from PETA and explain to them what your all about and pretty much everything i just read about. its a nice way to get your name out there when i'm at skate parks.. or just around town :] i love the whole no fur thing, i stuck stickers all over my school for you peta!

I love how kind the people who post on the actual peta2 site (also im Xena on myspace) i posted a comment on the myspace blog too but only to because there was a bunch of people on there claiming to love peta and cussing at each other and stuff no wonder people think people who support peta are crazy iggnorant people! I really hope whoever wins this though is someone who post here and not on myspace :D

I don't know how to explain why I personally should win the board (because anybody should win) So, Ill say why I would want to win it. :) But I would want the board because Im an activist who is always looking to spread the word about how badly people treat animals out there, And if it means changing boards, I'd do it! Also, the design is amazing. I would probably put a couple "meats not green" stickers on it to get the word out.

Because, this board and I are made of Win. And if I get it then I will be upgraded to Epic Win, and that would be awesome.

I skateboard alot and like everyone I know is a skater so having that deck would be a really cool way to get the word out about animal rights especially when they know I love animals and am constantly with them skating. By them I mean my friends, although I wish my dog could skateboard like some dogs that do. Plus when skateboarding is your current option of transportation, i'm everywhere all over town so that's a way to get the word out about animal rights.

when everyone will ask the only girl in my high school (that would be me) where I got my skateboard I would reply by telling 'em that i won it from PETA and I would also give everyone a long speech about animal cruielty and how wearing fur is evil (i personally would never waer fur it's gross & tacky) plus i think my speechs i give to everyone in the CAFF about the meat they're eatting would deff convince them they should think about being vegaterian or vegan (like me).
&& my stickers and peta fliers & peta petions all over my school would DEFF. get the idea & totally support Peta & totally go agiant animal cruielty.
lol this is getting really long so i think i should get the skaeboard--&& my job isn't really helping me afford a new board mine duck taped togther at the moment lol NOT SAFE.

i also feel weird about saying why i should get these things. i have done petitions around my school but i dont have anything to give them to show them my gratitude for them signing it. and everyone loves stickers so what i am hoping is that i could use the stickers for my friends and then i would explain to them about how kfc kills animals and how that when they eat meat they are basically paying for death of an innocent animal who has feelings and that they should help in the fight for animals rights! i have been a vegetarian for my whole life and i will never plan on eating an animal who i know has lived a short and painful life just so i can eat it. as for the skateboard i would give it to my brother because he would love it.

I feel kind of awkard answering this. But here it goes.
I think that I should win this deck because I've been looking for an Animal Rights deck for so, very long. And now I can have the chance to advertise PETA by sticking some PETA2 stickers on it. And we recently got skating privelages around some places around here so I can get the word about PETA2 out.
And I can pass out more stickers at school. I recently finished mine up.

well i really think I should win this because im a vegan and this year i managed to make 4 more people go vegan! That is my husband, cousin, friend, and my mamma. I feel very proud of my accomplishments.

Also my husband loves to skateboard and that skateboard is pretty awesome. Im sure he would love it.

I think I should win this board to show everyone how proud I am to be a member of your group, and to show everyone how rewarding it truly is to go VEG. I tell people everyday about what PETA has to offer for you to become VEG. I tell them that they have things you can do to help people become VEG. Leaflets, Stickers, Vids, DVDs, Posters and more to help you learn about how they start eating vegetarian too. I hand out stickers, leaflets, and stuff at school, I leave Leaflets and stickers at stores for people to just pickup. I do everything in my power to get people to realize meat isnt healthy. Who would want to eat some dirty, blood piece of animal that was tortured just for our tastebuds? I would love to win this board, cause i've never won anything, and i'd also love to show my little brother that I CAN skateboard AND be vegetarian AND support animal rights too.

Everytime someone asks me where I got my cool board at, i'll tell them I became vegetarian, got on PETA, helped out animals, and won a skateboard.

i should win, becuase i need some new peta stickers! i need one for my phone, and binders and everything. Also my girlfriend is a vegetarian skater and this would be the most awesome christmas present for her!

I think I deserve this skate deck and stickers because I have done a lot to help animals. I volunteer at the local spca. I participated in a car wash, where all the funds went to help animals. I am a vegetarian, and have been for over a year. I would never ever wear fur. I have made animal rights the theme of many school projects. I donate money to animal shelters whenever I have some to spare. I love to talk about animals and help them however I can. I show all of my friends videos and eCards on animal cruelty, and what can be done to help them. I changed the minds of a few individuals who thought vegetarians and animal rights activists were total whackjobs. I decorate many of my things, such as binders, etc with animal rights quotes. I research a lot about animals. I have signed many petitions against animal rights, and have went around getting signatures myself. I've helped with circus protests. I got a tattoo of an angel cat on my shoulder, it is in memory of my cat Tigger who passed away this summer, and it is also to show that Jesus loves animals too and that all animals deserve a place in heaven. And they all deserve to be treated no less then angels. I also want to win this skateboard and stickers because I think they were designed amazingly, and I'd love to show them off. I would take my board and stick my stickers to things and take them everywhere with me. This would get people's attention, and then I could talk to them about animal rights, and how I am helping, and how they could help. I would tell them about how animals suffer, and how it isnt fair. I could talk to them about PETA, and what it does. I could tell them all of my favorite sites that help animals, and show them many videos I have seen about animal rights and cruelty. I could educate them, and ask them to tell other people. I would tell them about all of the awesome stuff that they could win and buy, and how they can show them off to everyone, while making a difference in this world. I would like to thank you guys for this amazing opportunity. I don't know what I'd do if it wasnt for PETA. PETA has educated me about the animals in our world. It made me a better person. Now I can help save animals everywhere, and make their lives a little less painful. Without PETA, I would be left ignorant about animal lives. I would not know all the horrors they face everyday. Neither would many other people. Therefore, the animals would be stuck in a cruel and devastating life. (Until they were murdered, anyways.) PETA is so generous. I can't think of one single other organization that gives away free stuff to it's fans. i think i should win this board because i skateboard and i would go to Woodward and if Shane would see me he'd be like wow you won the board and i usually have my boards and helmet and pads covered with stickers, many which are peat2 stickers(thank you btw). it would make a great Christmas present from you guys. I've actually converted at least two people at my school to vegetarianism at my school due to the way i represent thanks to your stuff. i would just love to win this board i love the artwork.

I should win because peta2 is a part of my everyday wardrobe. (I have two t-shirts, the brown vegetarian hoodie, meat.org shoes, and a wristband I wear on alternating days so I spread the peta2 message everyday!)

I believe that fur farms should be stopped. I think this because animals are killed for someones comfort when we can easily wear clothing that doesn't use products of an animal. Then the animals and the humans could both by comfy-snug in their fur & our clothes (non-fur).
For example, could you imagine how many animals would be left if we all wore their fur?

I can't afford presents this year, and this would make my son very happy to have as a gift.

I've been skateboarding for years but only this past year did I get smart and go vegan. You have to have athletic ability to skateboard and I'm not too bad at it now, but I never felt "healthy" until I embraced being a vegan. I used to have horrific stomach problems but not anymore. That board is really fantastic and I'd make sure I put it to good use.

We live in a small apartment two rescue dogs. I recently had to sell my bike because it didn't fit in the apartment. I think a skateboard would be an alternative form of green transportation for us.

i rescued 2 cats that didnt have homes bc either their old owner died, or didnt take care of them.

I have been a vegetarian (and vegan as much as possible) for 27 years, but I am entering to win for my son.
I would love to gift my son with this skateboard who lives & breathes skateboarding. I am so proud with the fantastic young man he has turned into; he works at a health food grocery store, has a lovely relationship with his girlfriend and has had the same best friend for 15 of his 20 years ... they spend hours(!) discovering new spots to street skate.

My board just broke in half =[ (it was an element ive had for 4 years) and I love skating! I havent been able to skate at all in 3 weeks (since it broke) and I used to ride that skateboard around to post fliers. I even used to use it to get to school! Now I gotta ride the bus and I can't stop to put up fliers and stuff. So, basically; my main companion in my fight against animal cruelty just broke. im a big vegetarian and i tell my frinds all the time when they are eating meat that its horrible,and my friend is a skater and a vegetarian and i want to give him the skate deck and give the stickers to my friends and make tha=em put it on theirphones or something, and when they are eating and see that sticker it will make them think twice about what they are eating.

I should win the skateboard as well as the stickers because I really am a huge supporter of peta2. Throughout high school I told many of my friends about the cause and actually created a club in my high school that fought for animal rights. As the president of this group I decided that we should work with the Humane Society of the United States. Also, throughout my high school, we were given permission to post anti-animal cruelty posters. We actually raised awareness by a large amount. It was really great. Now that I have just started college, I plan to do something similar here. It is amazing how few people actually know what is going on and how their makeup and other toiletries are tested. Knowledge is power. Therefore, I do think I deserve this prize because I feel that I have made a difference.

Not only does my son love skateboarding, when he was three years old, he refused to eat a "dead animal" at daycare and the rest of the daycare kids followed suit. The poor daycare giver had to put away the freshly made meatloaf and make peanut butter sandwiches for all the kids!!!

I think this deck should go to somebody that is really helping animals in every way that they can. im just starting to be a vegitarian. it was actually you guys that inspired me to go vegan. o and u guys made me wanna be a vetanarian. no lie, im actually a buddhist. i just wanna help animals in every way possible. i get picked on regularly about it. but i dont care. i know what im doing is helping so many animals out there. i wanna get some of those stickers so i can put them around the local skatepark to motivate others to help animals. i would like to win the deck because it would further help me motivate others. thank you guys. u all help so many animals.

I think i should win the deck because it would make a great gift for my son who is a young avid skateboarder. We both have also volunteered many times to help animals in shelters and such. Thanks for your time

About how long does it take for you to makenone board design?

hi i wish i could be the one to win because im a massive fan of skateboarding and have been skateing for 20 years i also have 3 dogs that i have taken of the streets in china and look after so now i cant actually afford a new board as i spend so much money on dog food and treats for my babys im not joking really my dogs come first at the moment and my biggest one freddy has decided he likes the taste of my old plan b board so he has also claimed that to so please please pick me so i can let freddy keep my old deck that is now pretty soggy and i can enjoy a nice new one and continue to spend all my money on my doggys thanks xx
