i always say to fur wearers - "the animal that used to own that fur looked far better in it than you could ever hope to." i also ask them if they are aware of how exactly the coat was taken from the animal.

i would really love the t-shirt because as the companion to four bunnies, i would really like to make the statement that the fur trade relies on the murder of many different animals.

That fashion is so last year this year is synthetics.

I usually mumble how hideous they look and ask if they feel better about themselves now that they're wearing the fur of an animal that was mercilessly killed and that the blood of that animal is on their hands. I also tell them that no amount of money spent on such an atrocious clothing item could ever make them look good.

I really hate this time of season, everyone is starting to wear the skin of the hopeless and innocent animals. When I walk into a store and I see fur jackets I'll start to talk really loud saying things like ''There's still blood on this jacket'' or '' Sorry but I don't support murder''

Unfortunatly snappy comebacks aren't the best way to get the point across. Having a conversation with the fur wearer about their choice of fashion, while looking totally vegan stylish yourself, can do more to sway the person than exchanging disparaging remarks (no matter how true.) There are people out there doing just that in New York. Thanks to the guy at Vegan Drinks in NYC that I think was Joshua Katcher. He deserves the t-shirt, medium.
