Why Not Be a Troll This Halloween? October 2, 2008
Posted by Marta | Permalink | Comments ( 14 ) | TrackBackBy now, most of you are probably familiar with our Trollsen Twins campaign. We're always looking for new ways to raise awareness about the campaign and the fact that Mary-Kate and Ashley still support the cruel fur industry. Remember our "Mail the Trollsen Twins Your Hair" mission?
Anyway, with Halloween creeping up quickly, we thought, "Why not make Trollsen Twins masks?" And of course, we wanted you to be able to get in on the action, too, so go here to order your masks in time for Halloween. Heads up, though: we can only send the masks to people in the US, Canada, and UK. Live somewhere else? Print off the masks for yourself here (I recommend printing them on regular paper and then attaching them to something more sturdy).
Check out Lara and Rachel all trolled out in the masks:
Lookin' classy as usual
Trying to escape the paparazzi
WTF is Trashley doing?
Attempting to look less trollish
We want to see your pictures, too! When the big day rolls around, be sure to get someone to snap a few pictures of you and your friend wearing your masks/costumes and then e-mail them to us for 500 Street Team points. If your picture shows you and your friend wearing the masks at a party, at school, or some other public place, we'll give you an additional 1,500 points.
Remember: Dressing as the Trollsen Twins on Halloween is a great way to start a discussion with people about the fact that animals are gassed, anally and vaginally electrocuted, and skinned alive for their fur. They have no voice, so your costume can speak out for them!
So, are you gonna grab a friend and dress up as Hairy-Kate and Trashley?
♥ Marta
PS - Don't forget to watch our video, send the twins a letter, and "dress up" the Trollsens!

Posted by: Scottay at October 6, 2008 10:43 AMthats boss! (oh and btw lisa, its not mean the trolls are mean for killing animals!) ani way i love that!
Oh, you need to decrease 15 pounds off your weight to look more trollsens. But then again, that's the main cause for them to wear fur--disturbingly small amount of body fat.
Posted by: Kirana at October 12, 2008 10:05 AMWHOA!!!! IF it wasn't for the cruelty-free method soap in one of the pictures, I would have thought we have the real Hairy-Kate and Trashley at the PETA office.lol. IT WAS GREAT!!!
Posted by: Ryan at October 22, 2008 1:35 PMIf you want people to stop harassing and hurting animals, maybe you should stop harassing them, and maybe be a little more logical with how you go about it?
The only thing you are proving with this "costume", is PETA's massive immaturity and lack of logical thinking, which I imagine goes as follows: "We can't conform them (Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen) to our ideals, so let's make a hideous mockery that will encourage our followers to single out and hate all of those with different mindsets that we don't agree with!"
(Then again, PETA has never been known to care about human rights, anyway. GO ANIMALS!)
Ha.
Thats just awesome.
ROFL that's hillarious!
Posted by: Stephanie at October 23, 2008 1:57 PMharassing them doesn't help. it just gives peta a bad name.
