We have a very literary Free Stuff Friday for you today: Ingrid Newkirk's newest book One Can Make a Difference!
I think she explains it best in this video:
This book illustrates the fact that the desire and determination of ONE PERSON can create an entire movement and make the world a better place. YOU can make a difference! Be inspired by Stella and Paul McCartney, Russell Simmons, Kevin Bacon, the Reverend Al Sharpton, and dozens of others. You don't have to be rich and famous to help, so get out there and do something!
We're giving away a copy of the book, so comment below telling us how you make a difference in the lives of others to be the lucky winner!
Comment now because this contest ends November 7, 2008 and the winner will be chosen and notified by November 14, 2008!

I don't know that I make a difference but I try to treat everyone the same. In my store the person who come on a bike gets the same treatment as the person who drives up in a BMW.
I try to make a difference by teaching compassion and empathy for all living things to my two daughters.
I make a difference by simply caring.
I make a difference through volunteering.
A pleasant smile and warm hello!!!!
i make a difference by encouraging college age students to continue hoping for their future even when they get depressed. As mostly teenagers in college, they tend to question themselves. I tell them that you can try anything for a year/
I make a difference in the lives of others by treating them with kindness.
